A very nice, functionally furnished room. The breakfast with Turkish touch was delicious. Definitely recommended.
The front desk was idle for at least 20 minutes at 12 noon and we were unable to get our bags from the luggage room. As a result, we missed our train. That was very annoying and must not happen.
spacious room, allowed for this price and close to the station. free soft drinks at the reception. Friendly employees. Cozy cafes around hansaplatz.
breakfast in nearby Turkish restaurant of 18.50 euros too Asian and a bit rough as in all neighborhoods around a big station but enough police control.
breakfast
noisy environment
Exceptionally rich breakfast
Nothing
Very friendly and helpful staff (e.g. welcome drink; luggage could be left safely at the hotel on arrival and departure); good location (perfect for the train station), short walk to the Binnenalster, good connection to public transport; Room (413) at the back, very quiet, good (although not completely) can be darkened; The restaurant-bar "NAGEL" (Nagel-Bräu) is worth a stop
The station district itself does not invite you to linger (supprise. ;). ), funnily enough it was "harder" to walk there during the day than at night;
drinks for free
very well located to the main train station, but unfortunately it is not the most beautiful part of the city.
Great location, close to the train station. The room was small but fine and modern. In addition, a small selection of free cool drinks in the evening and a coffee maker in the room.
Our room was very spacious and clean, the windows were very well soundproofed. The staff was great, always very friendly and courteous, all wishes were fulfilled, nothing was a problem.
The location of the hotel is in the middle of an Arab quarter, where it is very scary for a woman to go out in the evening. Even early in the morning you had to pass drunk and rude people. After a few hundred meters you are in the nice part of Sankt Georg and the proximity to the train station was very convenient for us.
Rooms were clean and cleaned every day. There was a coffee maker and kettle. Complimentary bottled water was available. Very easy to get to from the train station. Breakfast in the neighboring restaurant was plentiful and delicious.
The area around the train station was populated with strange figures at night. getting used to
well equipped rooms, a bit small but more than fine for one night
Parking space must be vacated upon check-out
the location was very good, the room was large and clean with great facilities
nothing, so far everything is very good
The hotel is very nice, rooms are cute and very clean. The hotel is located in the George district. At first we were shocked, it is in the Arabic and Turkish part of the city. Had Turkish breakfast every day and the people were super nice. So everything is fine. A few minutes away from the main train station as well as the city center. Landungsbrücken can be reached on foot in 45 minutes. With public transport about 20 minutes. Must be musical ❤️
Unfortunately breakfast not included
The rooms are very good as is the location of the hotel. Very nice that drinks are freely available at the reception in the afternoon.
The large rooms and bathrooms, as well as the design.
The shower could have a bigger glass pane.
Espresso machine and kettle for mini breakfast in the room
Central location, clean, very friendly staff.
Quite noisy as it is on the main road
Very central location, good connection. Good sealed windows, no outside noise in spite of the location. Decent nice room with good facilities. Free drinks upon check-in. Nice personel. Underground parking space (for a fee). Relaxed check-out.
the staff is very friendly and the rooms were very nicely decorated.
The rooms could have been a little cleaner. The location is very central, but we two women didn't feel safe at all alone. It's a very special area.
small pantry kitchen included, water bottle and free drinks below when registering, good information to take away, quite good location, near main station,
It would be nice if the window could be opened completely, it didn't work in room 504, maybe other rooms do...
Central location to Hamburg main station. Friendly staff. Very clean!
Breakfast is only available from 8:00 a.m. It should be pointed out more carefully. Had booked the room with breakfast, but had to catch the train at 8:00! No refund possible, too bad!
Great house, very nice rooms and exceptionally friendly, helpful and personable staff. Lots of restaurants around. public transport easily accessible.
Apart from the perfect house, we didn't like the trappings - i.e. the area - at all. maybe our fault as we should have informed ourselves better.
Great breakfast until 2 p.m.: Great! The proximity to the main station is great, and the staff is very friendly and courteous! And the beds were very comfortable.
The location to the train station for onward travel was great. The rooms were big and clean. The staff was very nice and helped with finding a restaurant. Recommended.
The area around the hotel was not very welcoming. The train station in Hamburg is very dirty, as are the exits to the S and U Bahn. But the hotel can't help it.
Apartment house in a very central location with very good connections to the main train station. Clean, friendly - all the best. The rooms at the back are very quiet,
Very nice staff, got a free upgrade, good beds, soundproof windows (that was also important here), small, narrow balcony (unfurnished) but very good for getting some fresh air. We liked it so much that we extended one night (a good price if we asked at reception), coffee and tea facilities and a bottle of water in the room, free drinks in the lobby in the afternoon, there was also crockery in a lockable cupboard (unfortunately we have it only found out on departure) We didn't use breakfast, it also costs 18.50 but it's supposed to be structured more like a brunch and therefore also long breakfast times until noon. We travel to Hamburg more often and would definitely sleep here again, an enrichment for St. Georg!!!!
Unfortunately, despite the ashtray on the balcony, there were cigarette butts everywhere (I picked them up, many thanks to the previous guests who didn't use the ashtray). It would have been nice if the other guests didn't always slam their door in the early morning, you can also close it quietly - here the criticism isn't directed at the hotel but at the other insensitive guests. A tea towel would be nice.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very rich breakfast!
Arrival and check-in worked great. Room was modern and clean. We felt good. Breakfast was delicious! Free drinks at the reception - fantastic!
Breakfast was very good and rich. Hotel near train station.
We liked it very much. The room was clean and well equipped with a coffee maker and co. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There is nothing to complain about in terms of price. The location is not the quietest now, but this problem has been solved with well-insulated windows. All in all everything was great and we look forward to the next time.
There was nothing to criticize
The location to the train station is great. The room was clean, practical and the night was quiet. The best is the breakfast. Great mix of continental and oriental. Very good.
The location is very good due to its proximity to the main train station and the subway. The room is small but sufficient for a city trip. We found the drinks provided, in the evening, at the reception very nice, as well as the possibility of preparing a coffee or tea in the room and the existing refrigerator.
Clean, modern rooms with good facilities, friendly staff with good parking.
the location the staff very friendly
we have been there several times...the last time the room was cleaner this time the room was also a bit small.. the pigeons were a bit annoying...
large modern room, lots of space, good bed and ok bathroom.
Volume: the windows were insufficiently insulated, the door not at all: there was a gap that let in light and noise. So I could hear who moved into his room and when.
Friendly staff, both at reception and at breakfast. the breakfast was Mediterranean, with many, for me unusual, dishes. It tasted excellent, the breakfast times were also good. We spontaneously got a parking space in the underground car park, which is accessible directly from the hotel.
Our room was right next to the door leading to the stairwell and next to the breakfast room, which serves as a restaurant (?) in the evening. Until late at night, chairs were moved and the door slammed shut, which was unfortunately a bit exhausting, but the only point of criticism for us.
Great location and quite central. The staff was super nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were very clean and were cleaned daily. Quite modern and cosy.
The room was tastefully decorated with ample storage space, very comfortable beds, soundproof windows, spacious shower room. One wall was originally designed by an artist. The main train station was a few minutes' walk away.
very friendly staff. The room was very modern furnished. great bathroom.
The bed was too uncomfortable, too hard in the middle. Sheets had stains. Unfortunately, the district is not nice for tourists
The reception was very friendly and informative. The rooms were very nicely furnished and our wish for the quietest possible room was fulfilled!
Just one thing: the water ran out of the shower because the shower screen wasn't wide enough. But it's probably structural...
The breakfast was superb. I've rarely seen anything like it. Possibly I missed yogurt. Otherwise, it was a joy to go down to the breakfast room. The hotel was well located in relation to the station.
Can't remember anything.
Very nice staff , great turkish breakfast next door
The location - but you know beforehand :)
Since in Germany the breakfast would be more useful in German. Stuffed grape leaves and saziki with flatbread is not breakfast for Germans.
Good and fast accessibility from the main station. Rooms facing the busy main street and overlooking the very lively Steindamm. If the large window door remains closed, it is very quiet. However, this first had to be unlocked by an employee who had been summoned so that it could be closed. The round stools as seating in the room are very uncomfortable and in my opinion not sufficient. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The bathroom is spacious and has natural light - very pleasant. The breakfast room is opened punctually at 8:00 a.m. and is overwhelming due to the rich offer - according to the website with oriental offers (unfortunately only discovered there after departure). My problem is that it's not my taste at all.
For a city hotel with business guests, the breakfast times should be reconsidered. If you have early appointments to keep, you're literally screwed at the start at 8.00 a.m. The housekeeping staff should have their vacuum cleaners checked and also make a trip to the breakfast room once a day. In the pivoting area of the entrance door, the brush seal serves as a cleaning device and you can see that even with pronounced visual impairments as well as the cobwebs and dust fluff on the floor strips.
Modern, very well-kept and very well-equipped rooms, centrally located near the main train station (St. Georg). Free drinks at the reception and in the room (Nespresso machine). Very friendly reception. Request for a quiet room on an upper floor was taken into account. Outstanding and extraordinary international-oriental breakfast buffet in the adjoining restaurant Saray Köz. Very friendly staff there too.
- - -
The accommodation was not far from the main train station and we felt very good in the hotel. The staff was very friendly.
The only downside was the road next to it, but the hotel was great.
Free drinks and Nespresso in the room. Comfortable bed and pillows. And you can darken the room well
super nice everyone great service great location
hard beds
Very friendly and helpful staff
no parking at booked time
Breakfast itself was great, I would have liked a little more selection of dark bread/rolls and chilled sausage/cheese. A little more German standard of food Or better information about it... And the environment description is missing, because that doesn't work at all...
Very bad place
Price-quality ratio is good. The facilities are comfortable and modern, very practical
Although the location is not bad, near the train station, the neighborhood does not have a very pleasant atmosphere, especially if you arrive at night; It doesn't look dangerous though. On the other side of the station the atmosphere is already completely different.
We received a very friendly welcome, the room was very nice and the bathroom was spacious. In the room there was the possibility to make coffee or tea, which we liked. Thanks to the double windows, we heard almost nothing from the traffic directly in front of the hotel. In the morning we were able to enjoy a rich breakfast buffet.
The room was right next to the entrance door to the hallway, which wasn't as well soundproofed as on the street side, and in the evening we heard the chairs being moved from the next door restaurant for several hours, which was unfortunately very annoying.
- "Oriental" breakfast with various specialties - great - Free drinks at the reception and in the room - friendly staff
- very lively environment
Centrally located at the train station with very friendly staff
- a bit overpriced for what it is - a lot of homeless people and junkies down the street - Breakfast was tasty but lacking in standards. was altogether too oriental
Great oriental touch, daily fresh breakfast buffet! Very nice and helpful staff! Only a few minutes' walk from the main train station, so it's super easy to get to and great for exploring the city.
Breakfast excellent, as in cooperation with the Turkish restaurant! Quiet location towards the inner courtyard. Free drinks.
Nice room, comfortable bed, oriental breakfast and only five minutes from the main train station
The neighborhood is very special, I had a silverfish on the ceiling, but it quickly went outside (I hope).
The hotel was modern and clean, the staff was friendly. The location was super central not far from the main station. However, the double glazing on the windows made it very quiet!
The WiFi didn't really work. We didn't take the breakfast because of the price.
central location There was a fridge and coffee maker with coffee in the room The bed was great and the curtain made the room nice and dark
The location is not perfect due to the crowd on the street! however, there were also a lot of police present
The location was quite unfavorable, in the middle of the drug milieu. You no longer dare to go out on the street in the dark.
The beds were very uncomfortable and hard.
- Drinks and coffee for free - one is fast at the main station and in the city center - Bathroom with plenty of storage space
The location behind the main train station is not very inviting, it gives an unsafe impression. I wouldn't want to be there alone at night.
The rooms were well equipped and modernly furnished. The location right on a busy road isn't great. Thanks to the soundproofed windows, you didn't hear any noise. We wanted a centrally located hotel so everyone must be aware that traffic is also heavier. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful.
I can't think of anything.
location and parking (booked in advance) 2 minutes walk from bus and tram 4 minutes walk from station. also the 24/7 presence of someone at the reception who was super friendly. the view of the street was great! and it was really quiet inside! fresh coffee and towel service every day. actually this was a top hotel!
the breakfast was next door but when you entered there was a really not ok smell. that was not in hotel. only at breakfast.
Rooms, furnishings and staff were good, you can walk quickly to the center or the main train station.
The area around the hotel is ugly.
The hotel is very centrally located (to the main train station and Mönckebergstraße) and has an underground car park, which you can use for the unbeatable price of €15 per night. The staff was very friendly. All rooms can be reached via an elevator - some rooms only require a small staircase with five steps to overcome. In the rooms there is a coffee maker and free coffee pods and free water. The curtains are great, they darken well and you can sleep well. (if you hide the clairaudience :D)
The cleanliness could have been better - the remote control was very dirty and the mirror in the bathroom - when you look at it after the shower (steam) - only got a very sparse cleaning. Otherwise everything was clean and tidy. The hotel is slightly noisy - you can't hear anything from the neighboring rooms, but the slamming of the doors and footsteps on the floor above - but that's common and not wild. The central location is great, but unfortunately you also have to mention that you are in a district in which mainly foreign citizens live/work. There are almost only shops run by foreign citizens. This is not to say that we have anything against it, but the sense of security when walking to the hotel in the dark is unfortunately slightly clouded.
The accommodation and the bathroom were clean and sufficiently stocked. There was even a kitchen island with a sink, kettle, and coffee maker with free tea bags, milk, sugar, and coffee tabs. The main train station is within walking distance from the hotel, so you can get anywhere in Hamburg quickly and is therefore very flexible. The staff seemed competent and we were served quickly.
Although the location near the train station is very convenient, you are in an area that can be assigned to the social lower class. The streets were filthy and the infantry seemed untrustworthy. But you have to be prepared for this in all hotels that are near the train station. I just wanted to mention it here. The rooms were also well equipped, but unfortunately the coffee maker and the safe were partly broken. The breakfast price of approx. €18.50 p.p. is too expensive, so we decided to skip the hotel's breakfast and look for cheaper alternatives in the area.
Uncomplicated check-in and check-out.
The location is great but the area is very dirty and gives the impression that as a woman or tourist it is better not to go out the door alone in the evening.
Central location near central station
Non-soundproofed rooms (annoying to be next to the lift) and less than ideal balcony view (pigeons and dirt)
delicious Turkish breakfast, very close to the train station, staff extremely friendly
the open shower made it very wet in the bathroom, unfortunately you couldn't ventilate the room and the air conditioning didn't work
The good location, with only 6 minutes walk you have the main station right in front of the door and thus actually all important connections. The front desk was very nice and did a great job. The room was also good and clean.
The hotel can't do anything about that, but on the way to the hotel you feel like you're the only white person on the street. Everyone looks at you from an angle, so I and my girlfriend didn't necessarily feel like we were passing by. The hotel itself is absolutely nothing to complain about.
Central location, everything very clean, good service
the ventilation in the bathroom could be better.
Perfect location Free drinks Nice rooms
Doors very noisy. Especially in the morning you heard the closing of every door in the hallway extremely loud.
Very good location and access to the subway. Binnenalster can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. Very clean and modern furnished. Friendly staff. Our room had its own balcony. Parking spaces can be booked in the underground car park.
We were completely satisfied.
staff were very friendly and helpful. the hotel is not far from the train station and the city, about 10 minutes walk to the city
the bed was hard and next to it there is a construction site, which the hotel can't help but was still loud at 7 a.m. in the morning.
Central location, quiet rooms and good bed, rich breakfast, friendly and helpful staff
No complaints
Central location. Rooms big enough. We were lucky and had a large balcony facing the backyard. Plenty of sockets where you need them. Water and coffee capsules were refilled daily in the room free of charge. The bed was too hard for me personally. The breakfast was great and something different. Very attentive and nice service. It was always refilled and was very rich. Parking great, in the in-house underground car park area for a fee.
Good location, friendly staff, great breakfast and long meal times, Sky as a TV program, free drinks
Staff is very friendly. Rooms were clean.
The hotel is very modern equipped. There was even a small kitchenette with a kettle, stove, capsule coffee maker. The bathroom was also very new and modern. Very large, lighted mirror above the sink and even a small one with magnification. It was small, but was sufficient. The shower was almost at ground level, very small threshold. Without a door, just a 40cm wide pane of glass on the wall. Was totally fine with me.
The bed was 1.60 m wide and had a bridge in the middle. Which made it not so comfortable for me to be in the middle. I always lay on one side of the bed. Wasn't a problem for me since I was alone. The room was a bit cramped between the bed and the window was about half a meter away. Since I'm slim it was fine. The surrounding area was a bit dodgy. A lot of foreigners. For shopping, Penny Markt, Lidl and a bakery are nearby. I never went to breakfast. So I can't judge.
Mediterranean breakfast buffet
Shower cover too short, bathroom flooded
The location is perfect, the environment is a disaster, but if you like multiculturalism and short distances to your dealer, this is the place for you. It doesn't matter during the day, but when you come back at night, it's unpleasant. The staff at reception and in the room is absolutely great, the rooms are just too small for the price, but they are absolutely great. You can take free drinks from a fridge at the reception at any time.
See above, don't want to repeat myself. environment is bad. The price is way too high for this location. For the money soon a bit older but not in the environment.
We were in this hotel for the second time. Nothing has changed since our first stay in November 2021. You can still recommend the house. Our description at the time: "The hotel is centrally located, 5 minutes' walk from the main train station (there is also the U-Bahn and S-Bahn). We had a reasonably spacious room that was well equipped (there was even a shoehorn!!). Nespresso machine "The beds were comfortable. Nice walk-in shower. Breakfast is in a Turkish restaurant in the same building, which can be accessed directly from the hotel. Very good breakfast buffet. Exceptionally friendly, attentive service."
"Due to the central location, it is quite noisy in the room with the window tilted (complete opening not possible). However, the windows are very well insulated. If you close them, it's quiet. (Room is air-conditioned.)" This time we lived on the side (towards the powder pond). The background noise seemed a bit more subdued here compared to the room at the front (towards the Kreuzweg).
Central location and good value for money
Centrally located. Rooms nice and clean. Delicious breakfast!
The area around the hotel is not exactly trusting, but we would book here again as we were very satisfied with the hotel!
The rooms are modern and clean!
very clean modern house
- Complimentary drinks every night - Located close to the main station - spacious bathroom
- very hard bed - very noisy - Environment unfortunately not inviting
Good standard of the room.
All good.
+ Hotel is very central, even if it's not the best area + Room for a short city trip sufficient + Room quite quiet despite busy streets + Free soft drinks available at reception
- Superficially clean
Drinks freely available at the reception, coffee & tea in the room, very clean.
Very friendly reception, hotel is very centrally located. Equipment simple but perfect, beds comfortable, bathroom clean and modern. Daily free soft drinks and a great breakfast.
The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean.
-Location -room size -Staff -Check in before check in time
-The rooms could do with a little better cleaning, but if you say something, it's taken care of immediately
free drinks nice room with big window, big shower
no shower door… when showering it splashes the whole bathroom
Cleanliness of the rooms good breakfast
Coffee, tea in the room. Other drinks free. Very central to the train station and thus to the city center. The breakfast was exceptional with the Turkish specialities. Delicious.
The bathroom is superficially clean, it would be nice if we looked more closely.
Great location, super friendly staff, nice, big rooms.
nice modern room. Staff very friendly and accommodating! for the next time we will definitely choose this hotel again :)
Easy check-in, short formalities, located in a lively area, walking distance to HB, downtown, St Georg
Ringing in the morning, cleaning noises relatively loud
free drinks
small room and very noisy
Location, room
Breakfast was not very good
modern, everything there. just great for the price!
The Turkish breakfast was the best part of the whole stay! The young woman who took care of us there was amazing!! 👍😘
The pillows are too thick and were very uncomfortable for us, couldn't sleep well. The doors in the hotel are very noisy.
Complete set, location, price
-
good location
no opening of the windows possible, and bad pillows
The small kitchen is very practical. The water (to drink) in the room is free.
Of course, plates and cutlery would also be very practical in the kitchen.
centrally located hotel near the main train station, relatively new, well equipped and a bottle of water free of charge, second pillow for each guest, modern bathroom with walk-in shower and make-up mirror including enlargement; closed windows provide good isolation from outside noise
those who book the hotel should know that the Steindamm with all its facets is nearby; the room could have been cleaned more thoroughly; sleeping with the windows open due to noise from the Steindamm not recommended
Quiet and still in the middle. Close to the main train station and the city center. Free drink to take away at the reception on weekend evenings. Room cleaning also later in the day. Friendly staff. Underground garage in the house. Lots of dining options in close proximity.
Nothing we didn't like.
Close to the train station, very clean, 1 bottle of water and 2 tab coffee in the room included.
a bit noisy from traffic
Room very quiet, with the proximity to the main station well located for a city trip. The free drinks are very nice.
We didn't like the breakfast - the offer didn't suit our taste, nor did the ambience. That's why we always eat breakfast outside the house when we stay there
Room and in-room facilities
Noisy and questionable neighbourhood
The hotel is centrally located, you can get everywhere easily by bus and train. The rooms are perfectly fine absolutely clean! The staff was very friendly and helpful, great service. To mention is in any case the absolutely delicious breakfast also there very friendly staff.
-After showering, the floor was always flooded due to the narrow partition
Very clean Close to the train station coffee machine water bottle for free
The area around the train station is noisy and restless
Nice staff, location different for Hamburg,
Parking situation should be clarified in advance. The room was very small, so the desk wasn't particularly usable. Does Hamburg really need 1€ cultural tax? Of course the hotel cannot do anything about that
Central location in the district of St. Georg, Exceptional beverage service, free non-alcoholic beverages available at reception. Everything very clean! Very good room service. Super friendly staff!
TV has dropouts
Breakfast, beds, location, super nice and helpful staff
nothing
Modern furnished very clean room. Very friendly staff.
Subjective impression: mattress was too hard. Arriving by car due to the lack of unloading facilities in front of the hotel is not recommended. The hotel's underground car park is relatively expensive. The environment around the hotel was not particularly inviting, especially in the evening and at night. The city of Hamburg urgently needs to do something about this.
We got a free upgrade and had a size L room, although a size S was originally booked. That was great.
The only inconvenience was the expensive underground parking. Too bad, otherwise there would be nothing to complain about.
The breakfast was very good, very varied offer, good location, a few minutes from the train station
The room is a little small
Centrally located near the train station, friendly staff, with parking garage, good internet, mini kitchen, nice bathroom
Parking situation, but it is better to drive directly to the mixed/hotel multi-storey car park a few meters in front of the hotel entrance (drive slowly just behind the advertising column, report there via the hotel bell, park in the stay parking spaces and then go directly via the stay entrance via the stairs to the Ground floor for registration. Parking fee 20€/night
The rooms were very modern, very clean and the staff was very nice.
Suggestions for improvement: the room door was not well insulated and hallway noises were loud. The breakfast is very expensive in my opinion, which is why I didn't use it.
Rooms small but sufficient. beds ok Change of bed linen and towels every day (really not necessary from our point of view). Room equipped for small snacks with kettle, coffee maker, plates and cups as well as cutlery. Breakfast right next door possible. All rooms face the main street, but the street noise is hardly audible.
A small chair or stool as a shelf who would have been nice.
great central location, even if the train station area is not for everyone. But you can quickly get to the main train station, restaurants, etc. The hotel is new and therefore comfortable. We had rooms at the back, so no street noise.
Almost 20 euros per person for breakfast was too expensive for us. But you can also have a nice breakfast at many bakeries on the Lange Reihe. The then under 10 euros pp
Great rooms, very clean, very friendly and courteous staff, great breakfast - great all around! :-)
We were completely satisfied!
Central location, cozy room and super nice staff. Check-in was earlier than booked. We were able to leave our suitcases in the hotel before we checked in and after we checked out. All in all we had a very nice stay.
Centrally located, nice room, very clean. Every day service, free drinks.
Very nice staff, modern rooms. 5 minutes walk to the main train station.
The location takes some getting used to. Sex shops, prostitution, homelessness in the immediate vicinity.
Rooms were very clean and quiet. From 3 p.m. there were free drinks at the reception. Staff at the reception invariably friendly. Good location.
🤷🏻♀️
Staff was very nice! Rooms perfectly satisfactory.
Walking is a bit annoying.
the location is in Hbhf. Proximity & it's only 5 mins to Lange Reihe ; The staff is very nice; the non-alcoholic drinks are included; the breakfast is MEGA; the interior modern & new :-) A hotel parking garage is available - 20.00 euros fee for downtown completely reasonable
we stayed on the 2nd floor; in the first is the restaurant / breakfast room furnished with heavy chairs; you can hear EVERY single chair in the room - move & wake up all the time :-( The location is a bit ugly but bearable for a short city trip! we had a very small dog with us who would have his own basket ; feeding bowls etc. the dog was never alone in the room, didn't bark once or did anything else - they charged 15 euros per night - what for?
friendly staff, easy parking, great value for money, central location, free drinks
Surroundings not too nice, but that's how it is near the train station
Location is just perfect. Only 5 minutes away from the train station. In 15 minutes you are in the city center and just around the corner there is a street full of restaurants and cafes. Room was small, but ideal for a city trip where you don't spend much time in the room anyway. Bed was very comfortable too!
Free soft drinks
The rooms are great! The bed, with LED and artwork, really great! Location is super central! The underground car park is worth it. There was a free drink upon check in and there was also a free bottle of water in the room which was great! The windows are big and you have a great view. There is a safe, Nespresso machine and a mini fridge. The tv is big and even has sky sports . The maids are quick and even those who sleep longer get the opportunity for room service.
The breakfast was disappointing for €18.50 per person, really too much of a good thing!
The staff was super friendly. Our room was ready at 1 p.m. The location of the hotel is very central and just under 400m from the main station. As in any large city, the area around a main station is not the prettiest, but you could quickly get to the city on foot or with the U3, at the Landungsbrücken, etc. What we really liked was the free coffee and tea in the room, as well as various cold drinks which are available at the reception in the afternoon.
The beds were really anything but comfortable, but that is different for everyone.
super nice modern hotel
The mattresses were hard
Cleanliness in the hotel large bottle of water upon arrival
Hair on the bathroom towels unfortunately
The proximity to the metro, train station and buses. The capsule coffee maker, water and soft drinks.
The mattress is hard
The central location was great, and the breakfast buffet was delicious
Before I could sleep I had to pat the pillows out as I'm allergic to house dust. the main door from the room was bent, had an extreme draft
the accommodation was great. The reception was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was Turkish cuisine, which was very plentiful and delicious.
To the main station only 600 m, breakfast buffet Turkish style, very tasty ....
Area at Hansa Platz, please stay away from there.
The staff was very friendly, the hotel very clean and very well equipped. The hotel is centrally located, so you could easily reach everything on foot. Despite the central location, it was very quiet due to good insulation. The hotel has a very good security system.
Right across from the hotel is a focal point of Hamburg, where you shouldn't be alone in the evening or in general! Thanks to the good security system from the hotel, you could still sleep peacefully.
good location, very friendly staff, good, exceptional breakfast
-
The breakfast was fantastic. Breakfast is offered in the attached Turkish restaurant. Very tasty, great selection, everything fresh. The owners are very nice and polite! The central location allows the city to be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The main train station is in the immediate vicinity, as is public transport.
Mattresses of the beds could be a bit softer!
Central location - subway & train station within walking distance, easily accessible underground car park with some reasonably sized parking spaces for an extra fee; Functional, decent sized rooms with good soundproofing, clean bathroom and large shower. Friendly reception with quick check-in and free drink to choose from 👍 Reasonably priced
modern and new, great breakfast, easy access to public areas
everything is perfect
Very quick check-in and the rooms are great. The breakfast was oriental. Something else. The Turkish music, however, takes some getting used to.
The location is clear. However, it is relatively central, but the entire streets around it are all dirty. Many criminal foreigners stay there in the vicinity. We have been approached several times. almost all day police and rescue service sirens. So this hotel in another location and everything would be great.
In the neighboring Turkish cafe, access directly from the hotel, there was a fantastic breakfast. Rarely had such a varied breakfast with a lot of Turkish dips and creams with vine leaves, olives, feta cheese. Really great cinema. Even the small room booked was more than a respectable size.
We found the room doors to be quite poorly soundproofed. Didn't bother us though.
The central location, in 3 minutes to the south station (main station 4 minutes), from which you can get everywhere (underground and suburban trains). Friendly staff and if you want, you can have a Turkish breakfast in the on-site restaurant before you start the day. Only those with a chip have access to the hotel. The rooms are new and well equipped with coffee maker, kettle and small selection of tea and coffee. There are free drinks at the reception. The beds are comfortable, the duvets a bit too thin for my taste in winter, only the pillows are very hard and can only be used as decoration. Otherwise we had a nice time. And even the heating can be controlled manually, which was more than pleasant given the temperatures. We had a good time. We would book this hotel again.
Duvets a little too thin for winter and the pillows a little too hard. Otherwise everything great
relatively new and modern rooms, clean and very nice staff Location to the main station great starting point
not necessarily recommended for women traveling alone, but that has nothing to do with the accommodation but with the environment.
Just a few minutes' walk from the main station. The bus station is also right around the corner. Approximately 20 minutes to the Speicherstadt. If it was a little closer to the Landungsbrücken we would book it again. But if you don't value the distance, this is a great address for Hamburg! We slept very well here and also got to everything we wanted to see by subway and bus. We didn't use the breakfast. We had breakfast at the Schanzenbäckerei in the Speicherstadt. The hotel is located in a Turkish-influenced neighborhood where there are many Turkish restaurants and bakeries. The room itself was on the 5th floor and super quiet. The bed very comfortable. The bathroom is very nice with a walk-in shower. We had a Nespresso machine and a tea maker in the room. We thought that was extremely great!
When checking out early in the morning, the reception was not yet manned. The note that we should put the room card in the box could be a little bigger on the pane. We only discovered it by accident because my husband had sat in the armchair to wait. Otherwise I can't say anything negative here. However, if you want to be close to the Kiez and the Landungsbrücken, you have to book another hotel.
clean nice staff very good breakfast
location
convenient hotel, especially for public transport users. A few steps and the bus takes you in front of the Elbphilharmonie without having to change trains, and there are also city bikes in front of the front door lively district
The room doors must be closed with full force and noise
very neat, with a small kitchenette and coffee machine, two capsules per pack are included
I personally prefer continuous mattresses, not two single beds next to each other as a double bed
nice room good underground parking good breakfast buffet
not the best neighborhood
Good attention from the staff, clean, close to the center and close to the station
We did not like the pillows, they were not comfortable. The way to make the bed, we like to find the bed made, but they are customs depending on the country.
The room was nice and adequately equipped, the location is central, about 5 minutes from the main train station. It was clean and everyone was very friendly. We had booked with breakfast and there was an oriental buffet which was very tasty
The bed was very uncomfortable for me, but that's probably my own feeling. I didn't find the area that great.
The room facilities were modern and clean. Despite the location directly on the street, the rooms were equipped with double soundproof windows and you didn't hear the noise. The breakfast was great, lots of choice and something for everyone. Parking in the underground car park was not a problem, a reservation is recommended.
good comfort, clean, nice staff.
Breakfast was excellent, a mixture of German and Turkish was something special...delicious Free cold drinks at the reception
The service and the great breakfast!
Our room was relatively small, so there was no space for two comfortable armchairs.
excellent location
hard beds, very small rooms.
The staff were incredibly helpful! I spoke to a total of three different hosts and they all helped us on our way. We even made a mistake when booking, but that too was immediately resolved without any problems or hassle (or extra costs)! You are right next to a busy road and super close to the station, but surprisingly you are not bothered by the noise at all. Great location to go to the city on foot or by scooter.
The only downside I would say is the sound of the doors closing in the morning. I like to sleep in, but I usually woke up around 8 am / 9.30 am from the heavy doors in the hallway when guests or cleaning staff walked through. However, our room was right next to this, so I can imagine it's less bad in other rooms.
Proximity to the train station Room facilities and uncomplicated check-in
Environment was a bit too noisy
The breakfast was very good, a short walk to the train station.
area around the hotel
The location is very central near the main station. The Mediterranean breakfast is great from the in-house restaurant.
Unfortunately, the shower flooded the bathroom.
Central location to be in the city center quickly. We were able to book a parking space at short notice, which was very pleasant
i can't write anything
We were very satisfied with the accommodation. The room was a nice size. The maid was very reliable and quick. While we were having breakfast, the room was already made. The Turkish breakfast was very good, but to be fair it is provided by the hotel's independent Turkish restaurant.
Proximity to the main train station has its advantages. You can get anywhere quickly. However, Sankt Georg in Hamburg is a district that takes a lot of getting used to. But that's not the hotel's fault.
Turkish breakfast, super tasty and a huge selection. Rooms very clean, quite small, but enough. Clothes left in suitcase for the most part. Great coffee maker and kettle in the room. Very close to the main train station. Located on the main road but still quiet due to double windows. Our car was safely stored in the parking garage. Next time we will travel by train, it is only a 15-minute walk from the main train station
Alone I would not have walked through the dark Turkish quarter with drunk people at night. but had my husband with me.
Central location, whereby the immediate surroundings include what is often meant by proximity to the train station. The room was spacious, very functional and nicely furnished. Drinks are free.
very good equipment, comfortable, good value for money
Hair dryer didn't work
Nice room, big shower, comfortable bed
The breakfast did not live up to our expectations.
very good location, very clean, great facilities and very friendly staff
all the best
Nice hotel in a "special location" . We liked the Stay! fully convinced. Value for money is great, the staff is super friendly, the rooms are big enough and clean. Drinks and sweets are available all the time at the reception, which we noticed very positively. The (Turkish) breakfast in the neighboring restaurant was excellent, maybe not the typical German "meat sausage Gouda breakfast", but nothing is missing - on the contrary, the choice is phenomenal and everything was very tasty. You can also park in the hotel's own garage (reservation recommended). Solely with the location you should bring "a thick skin", because: with the immediate proximity to the main station/Steindamm/Hansaplatz you get quite a lot of "Hamburg-like curiosities" with you, but the hotel can't do anything about it and a deduction would therefore be unfair. In addition, the location is also great for a trip to Hamburg because almost everything is within walking distance or you can use public transport quickly. The environment is also very lively and more "multicultural" in character. It didn't bother us and we'll be back when we're in the area.
As described above, the location and the environment of the hotel is somewhat special.
Clean room and large. Coffee maker and kettle plus fridge available. Very good breakfast (Turkish/German). Free drinks at reception.
Beds a bit too hard and push the mattresses apart. The door opens at an angle because the closet then comes. You sometimes have to step into the bathroom to get into the room. But you get used to it.
very, extensive breakfast buffet-you can also rate it as a brunch buffet spacious room
You couldn't open the balcony door, although there was still a pane outside - very stuffy in the room. No real separation in the shower - the whole bathroom was "flooded" when asked if there was a second bath mat, the answer was "they didn't have that many" The room was clean at first glance, but the corners under the bed and the towel heater in the bathroom were very dusty.
The breakfast was fantastic and well worth its EUR 13.50! The room was a good size and super clean. The underground car park is clean, bright and large.
The area in which the hotel is located takes a lot of getting used to. It's all Arabic shops and it's dirty in the streets... you don't feel comfortable. But that is forgotten as soon as you enter the hotel and the door is closed behind you.
very friendly staff, clean, well and functionally equipped, kitchenette available, 10 minutes on foot to the train station or Mönckebergstraße
the environment is sometimes violent and noisy Definitely book a room at the top and at the back
Breakfast was great... price for the underground car park was ok
Location, right at a crossroads
We liked the secure access. Despite the central location, it was very quiet. Subway station is nearby. Also the staff was friendly and helpful. The Turkish breakfast buffet was new to us and rich.
The environment is multicultural. getting used to. Station district specific.
We stayed in Hamburg for a weekend and would definitely choose the hotel again. The reception was very friendly, although we only reached the accommodation around 9 p.m. Our room was very clean. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. All interesting places are easy to reach from here and the Lange Reihe in St. Georg with many great breakfast options is in the immediate vicinity.
The price for being so close to everything in St. Georg is lots of pigeons across the street. Furthermore, the clientele on the way to Hansaplatz is a little... But that's the way it is in Hamburg. If it bothers you, you should stay at home.
cleanliness-equipment-breakfast
location
The location and comfort of the hotel is excellent
The internet signal is weak, also the reception staff is not so efficient and not very friendly, with the exception of Uli, since he is excellent, he was interested in collaborating at all times!
Chic hotel in the best location 5 minutes from the main train station, with a great Mediterranean breakfast (something different from the same thing)!
Nothing.
free drinks at the reception if the freezer is outside. friendly staff. conveniently located.
Location in the midst of oriental kebab shops on a busy main street. Entrance is a normal house entrance. one tends to drive past. Parking €15/night
Very friendly and helpful staff; excellent (Turkish) breakfast buffet; spacious bathroom; very good sound insulation; coffee, tea, water for free; secured entrances
shower partition too narrow; Hair dryer without temperature selector switch
We liked everything! Location close to the main train station, so close to the U3, which leads to many of Hamburg's sights. Room was clean, with a kitchenette including tea/coffee. In the evening there were free cold drinks (water, coke, lemonade, mixed beer drinks) at the reception. Bed was totally comfortable, breakfast was delicious and something different than just rolls and jam, hotel staff very friendly! We will be back :-)
Just a small thing: (floor-to-ceiling) windows couldn't be opened (for security reasons?!)... Since I like to sleep in the fresh air, this wasn't ideal for me, but of course it wasn't dramatic either
the car was safe in the parking garage, which we booked for 15 euros a night. the breakfast also had a wide variety and was delicious. the room was well furnished and modern. you don't hear any street noise and you can sleep very well.
The shower was big, but after the shower the whole bathroom was flooded. would have liked a shower door.
the friendliness of the staff, the rooms were very clean, modern and had everything. Free water was offered throughout.
The ubication. The hotel is very close to the central station, very central. But the surrounding streets do not convey much security. Especially for girls, the area can be a bit unsafe. Little noisy.
We received a very friendly welcome, great new hotel, great value for money there was free coffee in the room and a variety of cold drinks at the front desk
The rooms were modern and well equipped. Everything was clean and the staff friendly. Everything was very easy to reach on foot.
The environment of the hotel was very borderline for us, especially in the dark. There was a mainly Turkish, very extensive and hearty breakfast (among other things, many pastes, vine leaves stuffed with broad beans...). Unfortunately, that wasn't for us in the morning. But since there was also cheese and jam, we had an alternative 😊
very centrally located, everything is within walking distance
nothing to complain about
This was already my third stay at the Stay! and i'm excited again. Great central location, great facilities and friendly, helpful staff. moreover, the different pictures in each room are simply sensational
Breakfast was great, hotel room comfortable!
Unfortunately, the drain in the sink smelled badly, there should be a pipe cleaner!
the accommodation is Syrian and you have everything you need
the layer of dust on the coffee machine, hair dryer and shelves
Modern, very new-looking hotel, rooms with air conditioning and a small kitchen with coffee machine and tea maker, coffee capsules were refilled daily, you could get drinks free of charge every day at check-in, very attentive room service, the area is just St. Georg, breakfast is Turkish - with very large offer, but also with rolls, sausage, eggs, jam, etc. It is only a 3-minute walk to the main train station.
nice room. delicious breakfast
no lobby
Nice little central hotel, very clean, room comfortable, staff very friendly, nice breakfast with turkish flair
Not enough parking space
Very central location, in a few minutes you are at the train station. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is soooo varied and very, very good.
There is a shower curtain in the bathroom, which was clean, but that's not very pleasant.
Nice room, very good parking possibility in the underground car park, friendly staff and also free soft drinks. Good location with good public transport connections, pedestrian zone within walking distance. Breakfast looked delicious and, above all, really extensive!
Overall, the room could have been a little cleaner, especially small things like the hair dryer were dusty and covered with hair.
Very centrally located. car in the underground garage.
Parking reservation works well. The breakfast is rich.
Bathroom wasn't cleaned well.
Quiet room at the back, free drinks at reception and a very nice Turkish breakfast. Nothing for guests with classic German preferences, but if you like oriental food, you will get your money's worth.
The location is typical of a big city, station district, not so nice, but close to S-Bahn and U-Bahn.
Friendly rooms with good facilities. Everything functional
The room was very small
Very nice modern room, everything clean and well maintained. There was even a capsule coffee maker and a small sink in the room! The oriental breakfast buffet was very tasty, large selection - and of course there was also sausage, cheese, jam, muesli! The service was very friendly and courteous, nice staff in the whole house!
The WiFi was very bad at times! Only Turkish music was played in the breakfast room, and maybe a Hanseatic radio station from time to time would have been nice! The area isn't the best, as is sometimes the case near main train stations, but there is a subway station within a few minutes' walk!
A fantastic, Turkish influenced breakfast. A gigantic selection of egg dishes, spreads, vegetables and more. Coffee and tea in the room, great.
There is nothing.
Great breakfast. Staff super friendly
- very clean - very friendly and service minded, even asked if room service was working well… - at the reception there were free soft drinks and beer
Central location, drinks included, cleanliness, friendly staff
Location not in the best residential area
Value for money We found breakfast too expensive Staff pleasantly professional Nice that the luggage can be stored after checking out
The proximity to the main train station was very good. It was also very clean and overall I was very satisfied.
it was good overall.
Coffee maker, location, parking, free drinks, no problem at all
The room is very cramped
Everything is fine
room was good. Breakfast exceptional because in a Turkish restaurant.
The location of the hotel was not so good (surroundings).
Well maintained hotel in a convenient location. The room was small but clean, tastefully furnished, very well equipped and not "rocked". The breakfast is really great!
Very clean, modern facilities, very nice staff, free drinks in the room and in the lobby at the reception. Quiet room facing the backyard. Bed was comfortable too. There was even SKY Sport/Bundesliga on TV for free. Good turkish breakfast with lots of choice. Just don't expect too many types of cold cuts for rolls. It was very small and the large selection consists more of the Turkish portion. Overall, very good value for money.
Location was very central. Only a few minutes walk from the main train station. But the hotel is in an area with a very, very high concentration of immigrants and the area feels "assy". That didn't bother us personally. But you should be aware of this so that there are no nasty surprises.
Drinks in the room and at the reception free of charge. Central location and absolutely sufficient for a city trip. Large TV and small coffee kitchen.
Turkish breakfast can be booked with the neighbors, but we didn't book it. Cleanliness is okay, you shouldn't look closely. The area is of course not inviting, but very central
Very nice rooms
Location is not the best but still central
Good value for money...very good, exceptional breakfast, very nice staff
The hotel is very centrally located near the main train station in Hamburg, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is mostly very nicely furnished, except for the bathroom, which took some getting used to because in times of hygiene measures in hotels, it is rather unusual that in a 4 star hotel there was only a simple shower curtain instead of a shower door (which didn't look so clean either). That is the only drawback that could be complained about and of course the terrible smell of cigarettes that came out of the ventilation in the bathroom. And of course the generous, great breakfast with international and oriental dishes
In the bathroom with the shower curtain (which looked very unappetizing) and is very unusual for a 4 star hotel
The room was very nice and perfectly adequate for our trip. The location was ideal because it was close to all public transport.
The breakfast could have been a bit more international - not just oriental.
Location central. Rooms good facilities. Very friendly staff. Underground car park.
Bad WiFi. Room doors could only be closed extremely loudly. Breakfast wasn't our thing!
good protection of guests from other visitors to the building (restaurant)
The bed of the guests above us squeaked very audibly.
Location: very central at the train station, new and well-kept hotel rooms Breakfast: very extensive and delicious, many Turkish / Arabic dishes Staff: very friendly and attentive at breakfast
Location: Hotel is in a neighborhood you wouldn't believe is in Germany, felt like I was on vacation abroad with a bazaar; also a lot of junkies on the street Restaurant: the hotel is probably in Turkish hands, you have to like Turkish music in the restaurant in the morning Reception: Receptionist had no information about business stay and could not find any papers Room size: Rooms are very small and therefore relatively high value for money
Very good location for train travel. Small but fine room.
In the bathroom it always smelled like doner kebab. (Reason: probably due to the ventilation from the kebab restaurant next door)
the hotel is very centrally located, the rooms are very clean, the staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable and not saggy. but the best thing was the breakfast!!! Turkish/Mediterranean and simply delicious!
The hotel is located behind the main train station in St. Georg. not a very fancy area... but if you know it's ok.
Comfortable room, indoor parking, great location
High tourist tax, total price relatively high
The breakfast was exceptionally good and the staff in the breakfast area extremely friendly. The room was spacious, there is water, tea (kettle) and coffee (machine - Nespresso), a small fridge. The bed was comfortable.
The location is very central in the immediate vicinity of the main train station - with all the advantages and disadvantages of such a location
Parking space under the hotel
Immediate neighborhood looks and feels a bit unsafe
Recently built hotel. Large well equipped room. Located near the train station. Sound insulation from the street very good. Good value for money.
Very noisy area and partly not very recommendable. If the sound insulation from the street is very good, it is less so from the corridor and the interior of the building. Breakfast offered only from 8:00 am, which is not ideal if you have to take the train early,
Everything was OK
It was a bit noisy at night, the neighbors disturbed us.
The hotel is centrally located near the train station, you can park in the underground car park for a fee. Rooms are good, but the great breakfast is outstanding! Very tasty Turkish buffet. We'll be happy to come back for that.
Rooms are very badly soundproofed, equipment sufficient for a few nights.
Good beds, good breakfast buffet at the Turkish restaurant in the house, nice staff
A lot of drug addicts around the hotel
The hotel rooms were great, the breakfast was also very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful everywhere. We were very satisfied.
The situation is both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand it's very good to be so close to the train station, on the other hand it's also a not so nice area in terms of cleanliness and also from the people you meet there.
really nice rooms central location
Train station areas are probably packed with interesting crowds in all major cities
Friendly staff, great Turkish breakfast buffet.
You can't open the window properly. No minibar.
Rooms small but very good for the price. Bathroom with walk-in shower Central location
Entrance not immediately found. Unfortunately, breakfast from 08.00 a.m. during the week is clearly too late!
Cleanliness was 1A - also the equipment was great!
no parking
A very friendly welcome and the rooms are also very nice
Room cleanliness Room equipment Good sound insulation from the street (very quiet room). Close to train station, parks
There is no negative point
drinks included and daily cleaning
comfortable bed but not double, the two beds moved and separated very easily
Location, room amenities
Breakfast could be a little better
The welcome at the hotel was very nice and we were able to move into our room before 3 p.m. We spontaneously booked breakfast and it was delicious. A large buffet with many delicacies. Our room was very clean and despite the location on the main street, with the windows closed you hardly heard anything. Every day at 3 p.m. you could get free drinks at the reception.
The location of the hotel takes some getting used to. Unfortunately, the area around the main train station is pretty dirty and there are an alarming number of homeless people and junkies living on the streets.
Cleanliness, room size, great and high-quality facilities, close to the train station
location
very modern.
The hotel is very beautiful and functional. The room is very welcoming, clean and of great taste. The breakfast very good.
The only thing I didn't like is the stretch of road from the station to the hotel, it's only 300 m. but they are dirty and poorly attended.
The Turkish breakfast in the attached restaurant was very tasty and varied.
Atmosphere
The location is perfect, 5 mins walk from the train station, next to Hansaplatz
New building with rooms that are not too large but functional. Air conditioner. Lift. Friendly staff. 800m from the train station.
No bicycle storage room.
Nice room with small French balcony. Great with AC. Dog friendly. Quiet room despite noisy surroundings.
The surroundings were a bit messy in the evening. Small toilet.
The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff are very friendly and everything worked. we felt quite comfortable in the hotel itself. The distance to the main train station and bus was great.
The location is good in itself, but in a not nice neighborhood with a very busy area. In the evening it was not easy to walk through there.
attainability
Unsafe feeling due to environment right in front of the hotel
The breakfast was terrific, huge buffet, great quality. Good central location, easily accessible by public transport
Dark pastries at breakfast would have been nice, there was only white bread
Our room was clean and well equipped! The staff was also very nice. The hotel is close to the main train station, making it easy to get from A to B by bus and train.
Unfortunately, there are some homeless people and drug addicts in the vicinity of the hotel - this is probably due to the proximity to the main station. In the hotel itself we always felt safe and comfortable!
Overall a clean hotel with very nice staff. The breakfast was good.
The breakfast and the music was too oriental for me, it would be nice to have known that beforehand.
since I was a bicycle traveler - unfortunately the hotel does not have a secure, lockable bicycle room
Room was spacious and very nice, very friendly welcome. We were also warmly welcomed in the Turkish shop next to the hotel. Our room was in the back so we weren't bothered by street noise.
For our bicycles there was a bicycle shed in the back, fortunately because this is necessary in a big city. It was a bit of a shock when we had to sign a document that the hotel bears no responsibility in case of theft ... (it would have happened 1x in the past 3 years anyway)
well the location to the train station.
well appropriate audience in the area. but OK
very good location, within walking distance from the main train station; the room is clean, nice, "new". The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind.
Nothing - I will recommend the hotel.
very friendly staff at the reception. We met 2 women and a man.
misery comes as soon as you step out the front door. There are people in every hallway, Hansaplatz, 200m away is a single rubbish dump.
Nice modern rooms with Nespresso machines and a welcome bottle of water. The reception is not always manned (boarding house), but that wasn't a problem. Breakfast was not claimed.
The area is rather "special" but very centrally located near the main train station. Many "Arabic" shops and snack bars/restaurants with an international audience. That might take some getting used to for some people - but we didn't feel unsafe, on the contrary.
Room perfect, there is nothing that could be better. Air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, TV, quiet location facing the inner courtyard
The environment directly at the hotel. Curb Swallows, gang members who want to beat each other up.
Location is great at the main train station, but there are many homeless people and drug addicts in the area. Breakfast was bombastic!! Huge buffet, everything fresh and everything your heart desires. Our room had air conditioning and was perfect for two with a dog. 🐶
Located in an absolute Multi/cultural district. And although we had a room facing the busy intersection, it was very quiet at night - normal city noise. Very attentive staff and great breakfast in the adjacent Turkish restaurant.
Super Service! Drinks included, Smart TV included and friendly/helpful staff. car is standing secure. Large, modern room that is cleaned daily.
The location is very close to the main station, but it is in the Hafencity and the city center a bit. Unfortunatelly it is the rooms were also a bit thin-in the last night the neighbors came back around 5 o'clock and celebrated something else in the room, then the clairaudience clearly.
Central location, underground car park in the hotel, air conditioning, rich breakfast, nice staff, hotel facilities are good and clean,
Difficult location: borderline proximity to the red-light district, many drug addicts, beggars, prostitutes - you are constantly spoken to, I wouldn't really let children/young people run around here alone
The location of the hotel is good. Good transport links as the hotel is close to the main train station. Everything was easy to reach from there. With the 9 euro ticket, there are no additional costs for the underground and S-Bahn.
I didn't like the breakfast. The price was too high for the quality of the breakfast.
very rich offer with all sorts of healthy vegetables / fruit, salads or hummus. very tasty, fine pastries/rolls, Turkish tea. bottle of mineral free in the room. Staff open and very helpful Rooms clean and quiet, furniture stylish and nice, impeccable condition
high consumption of towels
The hotel is very centrally located near the train station. The room size (medium) was absolutely sufficient and very well equipped (small kitchenette, kettle, Nespresso machine). We only used the breakfast on the day of departure. It was very unique and delicious. Definitely not to be missed. We especially liked the cold drinks that were available free of charge in the afternoon.
Due to the location directly on the street, the noise level is a bit higher. But because of the air conditioning, we were able to sleep well with the windows closed.
The hotel is close to the main train station and the subway. Everything within walking distance. The rooms are modernly furnished, air conditioning available. Likewise, a small kitchenette with hotplates, espresso machine and kettle. Tea/coffee is refilled daily. Chilled drinks are available free of charge at the reception. It's worth booking breakfast, it's varied, international. Almost all sights and destinations can be reached with the U3.
Unfortunately, as in many large cities, the proximity to the train station is a popular environment for drug addicts and the homeless.
Super nice room. Double glass; no street noises because of that. The pass / key system opens the front door, elevator, room door with this pass. Safe feeling. Parking under the hotel; also great. Top breakfast, wide choice.
The doors of the room and stairs are "heavy" and close hard; bit of a mess because of that.
The location of the hotel is very central, but maybe too much "in the foreigners' quarter of HH". The room was well equipped (especially with its own A/C and coffee/tea making facilities) The closet was quite small (might be tight for 2 people) - the hotel gets very warm (= leave the A/C on all the time) and the floor was very poorly soundproofed (door slamming loudly) - the fact that you can only use the stairwell and elevator with a hotel card has security advantages, but you have to pick up guests in front of the hotel. The breakfast buffet at "Sahra Köz" is very Turkish-heavy or very good.
Although you enter the Middle East at Steindamm without ID checks and the area is not exactly clean and noisy, the boarding house is an oasis of calm (very soundproof windows) and cleanliness. Nice rooms. Great for a few days city trip. The breakfast is solid with a large selection (except sausages) with a clear Turkish/Mediterranean influence, the filter coffee is a bit thin.
179 EUR for one night for one person is expensive. Even when used alone, you have to decide on one side of the bed, as there is a high bridge in the middle between the two beds/boxes.
Breakfast: Very different, very good! Luggage service (storage) after check-out!
The location near the main train station was very good for us as train travelers. (5 minutes walk) The hotel and the room appear new and clean with a good hotel standard. There was also a Nespresso station, kettle, tea bags, a free bottle of water and a small fridge. We really liked the breakfast with the many oriental components.
The hotel is located at a busy crossroads. It's okay with the soundproof windows, but it's noisy with the windows open. We reserved a room with a mini bar and were told upon check-in that all drinks were included. Unfortunately we only found an empty fridge.
central point in Hamburg. museums within walking distance
pity that the accommodation did not have a fully manned reception.
The rooms are very nicely designed and even equipped with air conditioning. Everything is very clean and the reception staff very helpful.
Basically criticism at a high level but we wanted to sleep in on vacation and were therefore in the room longer then at some point the cleaning staff came and asked how much longer we needed. Was a bit uncomfortable but also our fault because we didn't think of hanging anything on the door
The rooms (2) were very functional. A capsule coffee machine was available in the room. We were able to check in at 1:00 p.m. The train station and the city center were just a few minutes' walk away.
---
The rooms are modern, spacious and clean and centrally located. We also appreciate the parking lot.
I wish the hotel knew this was our 3rd time staying there.
Rooms big enough with everything you need. Beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is a great feature in the summer. The central location is ideal for exploring Hamburg. With the subway in 5min. Clock drives you are in 10 minutes at the Landungsbrücken. The Turkish breakfast is very good. Only the direct environment of the hotel is getting used to.
Exceptional breakfast
Unfortunately the social environment...
Small but comfortable rooms. Everything is clean. Fantastic Turkish breakfast that keeps you full all day.
The neighborhood between the Hauptbahnhof and the hotel is not so nice, unfortunately there are some drugs.
The location of the hotel itself was very good, everything was within easy walking distance... The staff were super accommodating and friendly! Hotel room clean, nice maids. Breakfast was good too, very unusual but tasty!
Unfortunately, it is actually a very run-down district, we come from the country and we were all very shocked... I was traveling with my 18-year-old daughter and it was sometimes really scary if you really only know something like this from TV.
The size of the room with air conditioning was great. Comfortable beds. Thanks to the soundproof windows, you can also get over the busy road.
The location of the hotel with the environment are something to get used to.
very modern and very clean
The location is very central but unfortunately there are many marginalized and drug addicts just across from the hotel. the police come by often. But in the hotel itself you feel safe.
Very good location for bus and train connections. Unfortunately, the area around the train station takes a lot of getting used to, but the hotel can't do anything about that. So ok for a short city trip.
Good location near the central station. Spacious and clean room and bathroom, with mini kitchenette and coffee and tea maker.
The neighborhood is close to the station so it's very lively.
Great decor with artificial style. Small kitchen with free tea and coffee facilities. Friendly staff.
Unfortunately, this hotel is in a not-so-great area of Hamburg, so I wouldn't recommend it for families with young children. We benefited from the proximity to the train station.
I was very satisfied just like last year. The safety precautions were better this time. No stranger can get into the elevator because you need a key card, the same goes for the stairwell. It's very safe there

Nicely furnished, clean rooms. Generous, delicious Turkish breakfast. Free drinks. Very nice staff!
There is nothing to complain about at the accommodation 😉 on the way to the center you meet many homeless people, but you are not hassled.
Great location, within a 5-minute walk from the main station with all major U-Bahn and S-Bahn trains 👍👍👍 Despite the fact that the location is actually at a large crossroads, you can't hear any street noise thanks to triple glazing + double windows (except for a siren!!!) 😱 very tasty breakfast with a huge selection 👍👍👍
Super tasty, a paradise for me as a vegan
I have nothing to complain about
Great room, extensive breakfast, friendly people at breakfast.
A vd counter employee .... oh you don't dare to ask her anything. So customer-unfriendly
Centrally located, next subway station about 8 minutes walk away, very clean, well equipped, we were on the 2nd floor and you would have thought it would be noisy due to the traffic and the many people, but it wasn't, double windows with double glazing, very friendly staff, comfortable bed, free drinks at reception (water, Coca-Cola, etc.) where everyone can help themselves.
nothing negative
good location to the main station and city center
unfortunately not exactly a great area behind the train station, the breakfast is mainly for Turkey fans... unfortunately nothing for normal breakfast eaters....
Very well located, spacious and comfortable room with kettle for tea and coffee maker and fridge. Very new, it seems recently reformed. Own parking €15 per day. It's worth it.
Perhaps a bit of thorough cleaning was needed in the rooms. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and on the fan in the bathroom...superficially yes it seemed clean but not thoroughly. The neighborhood where it is located is very well located, but the atmosphere is horrible, full of junkies, drunks and homeless people. Apart from that, being in the Turkish quarter there are plenty of places to have a drink and very close there is a street full of varied restaurants.
Very extensive Turkish breakfast buffet. Nice to try for breakfast. Friendly staff. Fridge in room with bottled water, coffee and tea. And within walking distance of central station. Right next to the hotel you can buy delicious baklava.
The area is a bit noisy in a neighborhood with immigrants.
The location was great. One is very fast at the main station.
The beds were very comfortable. Amenities were great, even air conditioning. You don't necessarily expect that in Hamburg :-) The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating.
The location should definitely be better mentioned in the hotel description. The breakfast is rather "exotic". Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it should be a bit more balanced, with more of the "conventional" stuff.
The rooms were large, modern and had air conditioning. The bathroom had a large shower. There was a small kitchenette with a fridge and coffee maker.
The breakfast was Turkish. I missed the sausage, the ham and yoghurt. There was a lot of food at breakfast, but you didn't know what it was. A label wouldn't be bad.
Modern atmosphere
The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was very extensive and tasty (Turkish breakfast buffet). Hotel very clean. the location perfect.
Breakfast is Turkish. Fine but very different from what you normally get.
The area where the hotel was located was against the station. But.. it was a very bad neighborhood; lots of alcohol on the street, lots of bums and addicts. The bums lay in the middle of the street. When it got dark large groups of men stood on the street. Felt very unsafe.
Great room: good beds, clean, fridge, low noise. Handy that there was a place in the parking garage for the car.
Nothing
Uncomplicated arrival as the location is near the train station. Friendly check in. Very well equipped, clean rooms. Top breakfast in the partner restaurant!
Very nice and fresh rooms. Air con, friendly staff, garage. Good, interesting and international breakfast.
Actually, only the situation was bad. Shady neighborhood.
We liked everything about Stay…
...the surroundings with sex clubs etc. didn't feel ok. Otherwise close to HBF and other means of transport!
Fast check in. Room was quiet despite being on the street. Good parking in the parking garage. Short distances to public transport.
The mattresses were too hard.
Super delicious breakfast and something completely different thanks to the Arabic and Turkish specialties. Nice breakfast room. Reception also manned at night by very friendly and helpful staff. Large and modern room and great value for money. Great big bathroom and small kitchen. Even 3 drinks as a free welcome gift. Very comfortable beds. TV with Sky
Windows cannot be opened by special locks. Our room door was broken and caused a lot of noise. However, quick help from the staff, they sent a technician and let us have breakfast for free. In the morning rather noisy due to the many heavy doors
very nicely equipped, new rooms
No sound insulation to the corridor, extremely noise-permeable door; Water from the cabin-less shower flows right into the room
We took the biggest room which was big and good.
The cleaning came when we were left at 10 and then not until 17. A little late.
Location not far from the station. in a mixed neighborhood of a lively migrant district on the one hand and a new yuppies area on the other. Reception is friendly in a small reception. Room is exquisitely decorated and clean and quiet. All in all good value for money.
The breakfast exceeded our expectations. Worked with the restaurant next door & offered everything you would normally eat for breakfast. Rolls, different types of eggs, muesli and much more. The air conditioner in the room was hot on the last few. days especially good!
My partner found some long black hairs on his side of the bed that cannot be mine. However, we didn't think it was that bad and simply removed it ourselves.
Very good; We didn't choose breakfast.
The central location to the subway, the main station and the bus saved us long walks and was therefore ideal. The breakfast was very rich. The facility is fairly new and everything is very clean. We were very happy about the chilled free drinks at reception.
The area is very scary for women after dark.
The location is very good and the cleanliness of the room
The central location and the friendliness of the staff. Breakfast was attached in a Turkish restaurant. We really liked it and it was something completely new for us. But you also have to be open to it.
The cleanliness of the floor
The furnishings in the room were very good. For example, there was an additional mirror in the bathroom. There was also a fridge, sink in the kitchen, a coffee maker with free coffee and a kettle with free tea. There was a safe.
The main train station relatively close by attracts a diverse clientele (at least in the vicinity of the location). It was not proactively pointed out that a chip from the hotel was required for breakfast at the external service provider.
Despite the central location, the rooms were pleasantly quiet and very clean. The breakfast was very sumptuous, so that there was something for every taste and due to the location near the main train station, there was good transport connections.
A minor minus point: at peak times it was a bit cramped in the breakfast room, as this was used by both hotel guests and guests outside the hotel. You might have to wait a bit to get a seat. But still: the wait is worth it!
The coffee machine. The possibility of late check-in and especially the underground parking. The hotel staff was very friendly.
The central location, which allowed us to reach many destinations on foot, was very pleasant, e.g. the main station, shopping area, Jungfernstieg, town hall, warehouse district, Elbphilharmonie, Landungsbrücken etc. There are also various shopping facilities "around the corner". You have to make friends with the multicultural scenery in this quarter, which didn't bother us. The room was quiet and relatively large with 2 armchairs, the bed was great, plus a nice bathroom, kettle, coffee maker (tea was also available), only the storage space was limited. A Turkish-oriental breakfast (more brunch) was offered, but there were also enough "normal" alternatives. For those traveling by car it is highly recommended to rent a parking space as this is pretty hopeless and/or expensive in the area.
There were only limited storage space available and the blackout to sleep could be better.
perfect location near the main train station
somewhat unpleasant artificial room scent
Room facilities great. Every day new coffee capsules and tea, fresh water in the room. Very clean, nice staff. Close to the train station.
The room offers many storage options. The hotel is centrally located. There are only a few steps to the subway or train station. The breakfast is very good and leaves nothing to be desired. The breakfast room is on the first floor and reflects the vibrant street life.
Very accommodating. Friendly. Mega underground car park
Very special location. Environment takes some getting used to
Great location and facilities. Varied breakfast although rather Turkish food Room with coffee maker and water heater very friendly staff
At night the streets of this area are quite gloomy with a lot of homeless but during the day it is a very lively area with a lot of restaurants. As a suggestion, I would put little signs at breakfast that each meal was
Coffee machine and kettle in the room. Otherwise clean and quiet.
Everything was OK
The accommodation is very centrally located, you can reach many destinations on foot. The employees were always very nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the selection was good too. Although our room faced the very busy street, it was quiet with the windows closed. A free bottle of water awaited us in the room and downstairs in reception there was free Becks Lemon and Fanta. Parking in the underground car park is not exactly cheap at €15 per night, but it is definitely worth it so that the car is parked safely and you do not have to travel long distances with your luggage. You could drive out of the underground car park and back in again as often as you wanted with the hotel card.
The glass wall in the shower was far too short, so that the whole bathroom was under water after each shower, which could possibly be retrofitted. :-)
We were received very nicely and said goodbye. Since we arrived by train, we wanted to leave our suitcases in the hotel. Our room was already ready and we were allowed to move into it earlier. Everything was clean! We really liked the breakfast, it was something different 😉 (Turkish breakfast)
The location is not very good. Our room faced the street and it was very noisy half the night into the morning.
Furthermore, we like the proximity to the Lange Reihe as well as to many hotspots and their easy accessibility in Hamburg. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The possibility of booking a monitored parking space (for a fee) is simply great for us. The room equipped with everything we need.👍🏼
This time the room wasn't very clean: large blood stains on the edge of the toilet (doesn't work at all) and blood stains on the bed linen (pillowcase, duvet cover). The prices have almost doubled compared to last year, that's tough.
Top location to the city center and subway or S-Bahn Very clean, highly recommended.
The district of St. Georg is very foreign-oriented.
Good central location with underground parking Connection via short distances to buses and trains...Everything can be reached quickly and safely.
Unfortunately, the breakfast did not live up to our expectations. Only offers from Turkish cuisine... That includes rolls, sausage, salads. Unfortunately, coffee doesn't deserve this name either! .. The care in the breakfast room was really great. When booking breakfast you should, we think, point out the Turkish preparation... The armchairs in the breakfast room were by no means clean... really a shame.
near center
Nothing
Perfect care by the very friendly staff! Nice rooms and good facilities
There is none !
Good central location to the train station. Excellent soundproofing of the windows. Friendly staff.
The area surrounding the station, but not to be represented by the hotel
like subway, good breakfast, clean room and very nice and helpful staff
more of an oriental breakfast.
The location (750 m from the main train station) is good if you travel a lot by bus and train, but the hotel is in a socially deprived area. Unfortunately, the homeless and addicts are also on the streets during the day.
Facilities very nice, even had a stovetop and small fridge. Nice big shower.
The location is unfortunately a bit unfavorable, just behind the main train station. Not recommended for solo travellers.
The rooms are super nice and modern, we had a great corner room (301) with a small counter and fridge. Value for money is top here - you can be in the city within a few minutes, but the hotel is close to the train station district, you have to be aware of that. There are even underground parking spaces, I would recommend reserving one here. I think it's great that dogs are allowed here too. We will be back definitely.
Central location in the multicultural St. Georgsviertel, small tea/coffee kitchen with sink and refrigerator, modern furnishings, no street noise thanks to soundproof windows, very friendly staff, possibility of a very good and extensive Turkish breakfast in the neighboring restaurant (13 €)
Everything was actually perfect, but the automatic door closers on the floor and room doors clearly led to the deduction of points. When these lock automatically in the evening or early in the morning, the noise makes you stand upright in bed. That's a shame, but it's supposed to protect against fire.
Central location, many places to stop for refreshments
Everything was a success. There was even a free bottle of water and upon check-in you could take cold drinks (beer or coke/Fanta) to your room free of charge.
there was no window to open, so air was only available via air conditioning
very nice staff, everything clean!
Very noisy, right on a street and in a place where there is a lot going on (even at night...)
Very friendly staff, clean hotel and modern room. The location isn't the prettiest, but it's within walking distance of the train station. The breakfast absolutely recommendable (Turkish buffet)!
The hotel is very centrally located, just a few minutes' walk from the main train station and can be reached quickly and easily. The check-in went quickly and smoothly, as did the check-out. In the room itself, nothing is left to be desired, a free bottle of water is provided upon arrival, and the use of the coffee maker and tea maker are included in the price. The rooms are cleaned daily and thoroughly. The beds were super comfortable, not saggy and, although the hotel is right on the street, you hardly heard anything about it later in the night. We can't say anything about breakfast since we had only booked an overnight stay.
The parking situation, which we are probably to blame for: if you want to park in the hotel's own garage, you have to contact the hotel early enough. We hadn't read carefully beforehand and only asked for a parking space on the way to the hotel, but everything was already full by then. So we were forced to park our car a little further away (in a DB car park). The bottom line was that it was cheaper, but you probably sleep more peacefully if you get a parking space in the garage :)
location, friendly staff, everything very orderly and neat. Turkish oriented breakfast (was a surprise, but in hindsight it was in the other comments, but I probably looked at it).
reception was not always open, had to call in case of absence. At first sight, the station neighborhood seemed an unsafe neighborhood, which scared us off, but turned out to be completely safe (in our opinion).
very friendly and extremely helpful staff that reacted pragmatically to the unforeseen.
The surroundings are subjectively becoming dirtier and more run-down every year.
The hotel is in a great location and the staff were super friendly. For the guests there is free coffee and tea as well as mineral water in the room. There is also a fridge with free cold drinks at the reception. Great service!
There has been some construction noise in the area.
close to the train station, friendly staff, clean accommodation
as two women we were no longer comfortable in this quarter late at night. Nothing was labeled at the breakfast buffet, which was a shame because there were many (Turkish?) dishes that we didn't know. no coffee machine, filter coffee
The location was very good. The staff was very friendly. Parking in the parking garage was convenient.
There was unpleasant smell from the drain in the bathroom.
AC in the room given that you couldn't open the windows (which was lucky because we had a view of a well-trafficked road). Very good parking with a lift up to the right floor. Access card to get in and out of the house for increased security. Stylish and fresh interior. Ate breakfast in the room, missing a knife to cut bread, regular cutlery and maybe some plates. There was a bakery that opened early across the street. Good location with walking distance to most things. Fast and efficient check-in on arrival, and check-out on departure.
Have nothing to complain about. Very happy
The breakfast was very interesting as we didn't know many of the dishes. They all tasted good without exception. The area surrounding the hotel was very diverse and casual. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
An alcohol-free hotel is unfamiliar but not a quality criterion and very pleasant at second glance. Overall there was nothing to complain about.
Breakfast was very good for us. A lot of choice but in a Turkish way. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The front desk is always manned and very friendly. Rooms were always very clean and there were new towels every day.
Everything is fine!
