Bathrooms (sink, toilet) were in poor condition; the property was listed as non-smoking, unfortunately the occupants in the adjacent apartment were heavy smokers and the really nice and large balcony always smelled of smoke and could not be used. There was a smell of smoke in the stairwell. There was no dedicated wifi, although it was listed on the list of services at the time of booking. Instead, there was a WLAN harz.freifunk.net that could be used as a temporary solution. So availability is not guaranteed.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness in the bathroom and some corners in the living room was unsatisfactory. Alternatively, we had to visit this apartment for the fourth time. Therefore, a working folding sofa had to serve. Cleaning the living room daily is annoying, of course, although a huge bedroom can certainly offer a better way to comfortably accommodate a family of four.

The shower hose was broken. Despite the message to the landlord, there was no reaction.

Cleanliness was poor, wifi is missing. This is stated in the description, but I did not pay attention to it because I thought WLAN 2020 was a matter of course. The connection was very poor. I received no response to my emails and several phone calls went unanswered. The shower head in the basement broke down after a few days and was no longer used.

As cars get bigger and bigger, there is little parking space and the approach to Wernigeröder Weg was very difficult to find (despite the GPS). At the end we searched on foot. A detailed description of the route is appropriate If phone numbers or e-mail addresses have already been saved and you are "asked" to answer questions, you track them and wait for answers for more than a day, then this needs to be improved. But in the end everything worked out

The beds are too hard

When the booking was clearly nonsmoking, smoking was prohibited throughout the hotel. Unfortunately, the neighbors smoked on the balconies, and the stairwell smelled of old smoke. The covered car park is pretty darn tight, low and shallow. No chance of parking there with an SUV. You pay little for final cleaning and bed linen. Also, I expect the beds to be made very well, but unfortunately this did not happen and we had to improve all the beds.

One bedroom is in the basement with a very steep and narrow staircase. We didn't know about it. It is specifically indicated that smoking is prohibited throughout the entire territory, but already on the staircase it smells of cold smoke :( The canopy belonging to the apartment is by no means suitable for large SUVs, since only golf can fit there. Unfortunately, there is a fraudulent neighbor who grumbles if you park right in front of the house to unload ... if you switch to sat nav it will be very hard to find it might still be helpful if you saved the channel list for your TV, but it's simple moan at a "high level" - the TV itself is really great!

The sheets disappeared once. We booked for an adult and two children. There were only two sheets and I had to call twice before someone came. And then I had to sew the missing bedding myself. I did not like it. I expected to be pulled over me if he had already been forgotten. I didn't know the bedroom was in the basement. As a result, it was very dark downstairs and not very pleasant if you don't look very much. If I knew about this in advance, I would have booked another apartment.

The car park is very narrow and difficult to park. The driveway is not lit - therefore it is very dark. I would be grateful if there was a whisk in the kitchen too.

The shower in the master bedroom and the roller blind on the window are great in the summer, when it gets early daylight. But these are just little things!

The canopy is too small for off-road vehicles. Good for VW Golf. Free on-street parking possible! The stairs to the lower bedroom with double bed and bathroom are very steep and narrow. Not suitable for seniors and people with disabilities.

What we didn't like was the smell in the apartment, I can't describe it. It smelled very musty. Unfortunately, the bathroom is not as clean as we would like it to be, unpleasant when the hair of the previous guest is still hanging in the shower drain and partly on the walls. Unfortunately, I did not sleep well, the mattress was too soft for me personally, and the pillows, in which feathers constantly poked, were terrible. But, unfortunately, you cannot please everyone. This is just my personal feeling. I think that you can only allow yourself to leave when you feel good, and, unfortunately, not everything was 100% so. But everything in one accommodation was ok, only we don't book there anymore.

The apartment is musty (there is a smell of smoke in the lobby), absolutely not suitable for children (dangerous stairs, no stairway gates and doors, no blackout curtains, bad highchair from which the baby crawled out). No secure wifi, no properly working vacuum cleaner, etc. In short, Harz is beautiful, this apartment is not recommended.
