It was a pity that we thought we had the apartment on the ground floor with a garden, and then it was on the 2nd floor without a balcony. The sound of the relatively small TV bothered me a bit, but watching TV was pretty much irrelevant on vacation. You should bring a dishcloth from home, and also a colander. There is no washing machine on the 2nd floor.

Cleanliness, lots of dust and glasses and cutlery dingy. To be used only after cleaning. The shower drain doesn't work.

Didn't realize it was on the second floor lamps that were broken (bedside table, under kitchen cupboard) no wifi (called about but no response) pan not cleaned properly (food remains in it) shower water does not drain, so you always have your feet in the water. quite noisy, I don't think it's nice for the downstairs neighbors.

The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The fridge is dirty in the corners. The vessels in the kitchen are probably only intended for decoration, in which mold forms on the kitchen table. The cutlery is from WMF but partially rusted. Sometimes it looked as if it was just licked off and put in the drawer. A few coffee cups were apparently only briefly rinsed and placed in the cupboard, still had coffee rims. I had to wash a saucepan before using it. Unfortunately, the under-cabinet lights above the worktop don't work, not even from the extractor hood. The drain in the shower is rotten. A few more hooks on the sink for towels would be nice. The bedroom is very comfortable, but a lamp doesn't work here either, I turned the bulb out, maybe you understood that? The facility is modern but very manageable. In the large hallway there is no shoe rack and reasonable hangers for jackets. The map with information about the area is not up-to-date, unfortunately the pizzeria no longer exists. To leave the apartment it is only noted to dispose of the garbage downstairs, only residual garbage was found next to the door.

2nd floor

Bedroom next to the stairwell and parking. The outer door on the landing slams loudly. You always hear people on the stairs and early in the morning when you leave by car. Apparently, also tenants in an apartment building and 2 apartments. We found the sofa to be very uncomfortable.

Railway signals were unusual for us, but tolerable

The payment was supposed to be made by bank transfer and shortly before the trip was not debited from the credit card by the due date. We may have overlooked this before.

Since I do not have a smartphone, I asked in advance to transfer the code to my mobile phone, but this was not done. Take note: I was abroad and referred to closed offices .... Thanks to a friendly neighbor, the owner's father-in-law came with the key.

The apartment is externally clean, but a thorough cleaning (hood, kitchen lamp, etc.) would not hurt. We ourselves have just cleared the garden table of winter dirt. Kitchen equipment must be checked (two bread knives, but no paring knife or corkscrew). A second set of knives would have been helpful to use the dishwasher more efficiently. The apartment is very noisy.

There are some points that could be improved, eg. Shelf in the shower, for shampoo, soap dish by the sink. The blinds should be cleaned from the inside and the heating in the bathroom should be painted.

We had great weather and then really miss the garden, terrace and/or balcony. Every hour two trains honked loudly, which was annoying.

Apparently, the apartment had not been rented out for a long time, and the cleaning staff did not clean it again. The kitchen has a lot of cobwebs, dust, remnants of former residents (crumbs in a toaster, a terribly dirty oven). There is actually a nice terrace, but it hasn't been done for a long time, it's dirty, overgrown with weeds, etc. Although it is supposedly a non-smoking apartment, you could tell from the smell that people were smoking. Warendorf is also the best destination for excursions, bike tours and gastronomy.

First impression .. I want to stay here. Unfortunately, the passing train gets in the way .. every half hour it buzzes like at the World Cup. Then I sit right down in bed. Children sleep ... However, this was the only drawback. We will book again

Please, 2 tea towels, at least one extra cleaning cloth. Everything is very quiet - until the regional train arrives and gives a signal. How do residents handle this in the long run?

General cleanliness. The owner should be more careful here, as, in particular, it was not so in the sensitive sanitary zone (photos are attached). We were able to dump the trash in the provided containers as described. The yellow rubbish in the area is apparently not dumped in trash bins, but in yellow bags. We did not find such a bag, so there was only yellow garbage in the apartment in a sealed garbage bag.

Personally, I don't find the arrival and departure times so good.

When we slept with the window open, the train warning signals interfered until late in the evening.

I didn’t like that at first on the second evening in the apartment I had to remove the cobwebs on the ceiling and walls in the corners with a vacuum cleaner and a feather rag. In the kitchen I wanted to bake something in the oven, which I then left when I saw that it had not been cleaned for a long time, although the apartment was allegedly cleaned every week. The owner also called me and asked if it was okay that the cleaning ladies came to clean the apartment and changed fresh towels and bed linen, which was also done, but this time the oven was not cleaned either.

On arrival, the key was not in the key box, we had to wait 45 minutes in front of the door for someone to bring us the key. The dishwasher was still full of dirty dishes.
