Great value for money, we would choose the Saline 1822 again for a stopover.
Made a private stop on the way back from a business appointment. Location ideally accessible from the motorway, after a short drive in a quiet place. Great hotel, professional and friendly reception. Beautiful room with practical, simple but high-quality furnishings. We slept great, room on the top floor with a beautiful view of the small town. Very tasty eaten in the hotel's gastro area, great kitchen, very attentive and friendly service, nightcap by the fireplace, felt completely at ease. Breakfast simple but very tasty, very friendly and attentive service.

For us, German Shepherds do not belong in the hotel, so it is not pleasant to meet them in the elevator and while eating. There were generally too many dogs in the hotel In the evening there was unfortunately twice only a buffet for 55 euros per person and therefore too expensive

Great hotel with room for improvement
Very chic & new hotel. Was there for the second time now. Will come back when I'm in the area for business. All around perfect!
This is by no means a criticism, rather a suggestion for improvement! Great hotel but with room for improvement. The beds relatively simple. No real light above the beds - seems dark in the evening. Breakfast very minimalist. I've stayed in many hotels, so it's a good comparison. The breakfast very little choice and very simple. The toilets look a bit like disabled toilets - toilet "raised", as well as a shower with a huge curtain.

Out of bed into the thermal baths
It is a modern hotel with large and bright rooms. The location is perfect: in the center, just a few minutes from the train station and in the middle of the Kurpark. But the best thing is the direct access to the rhapsody. The "bathrobe corridor" leads from the hotel room to the thermal baths. Friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet round off your stay. 👍👍👍👍👍

There was no hotel pool The rap sody's offer was unclear (what's open, what's not) There were newspapers but none of good quality (like ZEIT or FAZ or Stuttgarter) Nice that they had books but not everyone wants to read philosophical literature....

A hotel and restaurant that can be recommended without reservation
We can highly recommend this hotel. Very nice lady at reception. Good parking lot. Great breakfast. It was super clean everywhere. And what made me very happy was that we got a glass of sparkling wine on the house at dinner on the occasion of my birthday. In addition, all the employees from the restaurant actually congratulated me. Just awesome.

Price / quality does not fit
The breakfast was very good, especially bread and rolls (also the staff). The location at the spa park is quiet. The bathroom is very spacious and clean.
The rooms are not air-conditioned. After sun exposure all day the room was more like a sauna. This is rather unusual in a newly built four-star hotel. Stink bugs had then nested in the curtains over the tilted balcony doors! This can happen in certain weather conditions, but then you should keep the doors and windows closed. The bar staff were extremely demotivated on Saturday at 5:30 p.m., not a nice word, no request, but a very long absence. We would not book the hotel again under these conditions. The employees for breakfast on Sunday, on the other hand, were very courteous and nice! That made things right again.

Unreserved recommendation as a place to stay for a wellness trip to the thermal baths!
Really very clean, very nice rooms and hotel area. Friendly balcony. bathroom very nice. Everything is just right for a wellness weekend in the thermal baths next door. Bathrobe walk there, everything very uncomplicated. The sauna area there is great and thanks to the hotel guest there is also a discount. Round offer. Breakfast was great. We'll be back 👍
Really only criticism. We had booked half board and there was a buffet. Unfortunately, that was the wrong decision. Too little choice and already something stood. The plates that went out a la carte looked great and would not have been much different in price. We'll be back, but then we'll order specifically 😉 Then everything will definitely fit!

New hotel
New hotel, the room facilities are attractive. The hotel is barrier-free, and an e-wheelchair user should be able to get along well in the bathroom. A few handles may be missing. The food in the restaurant was good.

A real recommendation for a short spa break!
The rooms are spacious and the barrier-free bathroom in particular was exceptionally spacious. The entire hotel is up to date, clean and tastefully decorated. The direct access to the adjoining brine and sauna paradise RappSoDie is a nice detail. The restaurant and breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A nice experience!

The restaurant literally served me a salmon fillet in a tomato sauce. Far too liquid and overpriced. I left my charger in the room. The hotel asked for postage to be paid for delivery. Not very customer friendly, especially since I turned a blind eye to the long wait at check-in and check-out.

The hotel is highly recommended, the best in Bad Rappenau.
Perfect location to the rehabilitation clinics, restaurants and places to stop for refreshments, about 5-10 minutes on foot. close. Breakfast service very good.
Parking either in the underground car park for a fee, we were there with a 9-seater, this could not go into the underground car park and then had to park in a gravel parking lot (free of charge).

We did a day trip to the thermal baths and bathing world in Sinsheim.
The place was beautiful and very quiet. We had a great view from the balcony. The breakfast exceeded all expectations. There were warm buns, coffee in all variations and a great selection of muesli and spreads.

We would like to return.
The location is very good. An ideal starting point for excursions, bike tours or to reach RappSoDie directly via the 1st floor. No street noise, no cars, no people. The breakfast was very good and very varied. Dinner at the restaurant, fresh salad with noble mushrooms, highly recommended.

Modern housing in the city center
The rooms are large and clean with modern facilities. The hotel is located in the center. It is only a few minutes from the lake, the Kurpark and the city centre. So everything is easily accessible. The breakfast was great. The hotel restaurant "Salzwerk" is particularly recommended.

A very relaxing long weekend.
Good breakfast, the cuisine of the restaurant is very good and varied. The staff were very polite and friendly in all areas of the hotel/restaurant/bar. The connecting passage to Rhapsody is very advantageous.
Unfortunately, noise transmission through balconies is very unfavorable. Especially in summer, when all the windows are open, you can hear the residents well. Especially if they are still sitting on the balcony. It's a pity because otherwise the area is very nice and quiet.

2 days were too short; 4 is fine. There is a lot to see in this area.
I needed a very soft mattress, which was immediately guaranteed by the topper. The varied delicious breakfast in a light airy environment was excellent. The view from the 5th floor balcony is very beautiful. The air conditioner in the room handled those summer temperatures well. The salt pool next door is just great.

A very good hotel, given the features of the equipment and the culinary offer!
Large spacious and barrier-free room. Great bathroom, bright and large. Excellent with a small balcony - unprofitable if a neighbor smokes on it ;-). Even an extra pillow wish is fully fulfilled! Thank you - again anytime!
A tiny drawback - unfortunately the room is too hot - on arrival the windows were tilted and the sun was beating down at a temperature of 30 degrees. However, the permanent fan was ready!

Relaxed and beautiful stay at Saline1822
The rooms are modern and offer enough space to store clothes etc. The hotel is generally very quiet, so you can enjoy your time on the balcony as well. We found the breakfast to be especially good, it was of a very high quality and left nothing to be desired. Fresh salmon, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs and fresh honey straight from the honeycomb.
a small tea and coffee making area in the room would have completed the package. In a 4-star hotel, we are usually used to such an offer :)

The five nights were very relaxing, I felt very comfortable and in good hands.
The breakfasts were always freshly prepared and the choice was quite large. The coffee is just right for me. The rolls are very tasty and small, which is very suitable… I found the opportunity to go to the thermal baths in a bathrobe very comfortable!

Good location with many activities in close proximity - indoor salt pool with outdoor pool, salt grotto - two outdoor pools (wave pool with sandy beach), Salinenpark, Kurpark, several cafes. Our hotel room was well equipped with a spacious bathroom. Nice balcony with a good view. Very good breakfast, good restaurant

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel.
We stayed here as a stopover on our way back to the Netherlands. This new hotel enjoys a great location close to Salinen Park. We could leave the car in the spacious, easily accessible garage opposite. The entire hotel is wheelchair accessible. Incredibly friendly staff. Very nice spacious room and above all very clean. Great beds with very good linens. Nice spacious balcony with good seating. Very spacious bathroom with beautiful shower and armchairs. The breakfast (buffet) was excellent. Very large selection, fresh products, always replenished on time. We had dinner at the restaurant. And it was amazing!!! Not often eaten so well in a hotel in Germany. Therefore, the hotel is recommended! We immediately booked for our overnight stay next year. (Tip: be careful when showering. The shower curtain is too wide around the shower so we had a whole puddle of water in the room the first time. The floor is not sloped properly and due to wheelchair accessibility there are no water retaining thresholds)
Too bad there was no air conditioning in the room. Which is to be expected in such a new and great hotel, especially since we only arrived when it was 38 degrees outside. And there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. You can expect this in such a well-equipped hotel, especially since the balcony and the great seating area in the room invite you to stay in the room for a longer period of time.

From start to finish, all the staff have always been very, very friendly and very helpful, especially towards older guests. The room was very nice, the bathroom was big and everything was very clean. The location is perfect, very quiet and at the same time central. At night we could leave the balcony door open in the heat without hesitation, no noise and no mosquitoes. The breakfast is the best, varied choice, quality and service is a dream. The restaurant has high-class cuisine, very good products, and of course, accompanying, trained and friendly staff. Of course, I also have to mention the rhapsody walk in a bathrobe, just brilliant and 4.50 euros for 3 hours in a bath at a comfortable temperature is great. I also found the house manager very pleasant, friendly, attentive and always ready to listen to everyone. They say the fish start to stink from the head, but this man shows his crew how to be hospitable, and in this way he makes sure that we all feel comfortable at the Saline1822 hotel.

Very nice stay, anytime again
Very beautiful place, in the center of Salinenpark. Very friendly staff (hotel and restaurant), also very suitable for traveling with a child. Parking with an e-car for a small fee is also possible with the possibility of charging in the hotel garage. The restaurant is also very good, great food and good concept (salts are different from salines).
Unfortunately the direct road to the hotel was closed due to construction work and you had to detour through the Salinenpark. The room was very hot, the air conditioner helped only to a limited extent at first. The room continued to heat up due to the overheating of the adjacent hallway (the weather was generally very warm during this period).

There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The customer service of the front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. During our stay, none of the staff greeted us either at the entrance or at the exit. On the other hand, the ladies at breakfast and cleaning were very friendly.

Highly recommended.
The breakfast was very good. The choice of food was very large and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were perfectly cleaned. Our room had a balcony with a great view. We did not use the salt bath robe. We'll do it on our next visit. Dinner was of high quality. A place in the garage could be booked for 10 euros per night. The front desk staff were friendly and competent.

Great modern new hotel with very nice rooms. Very spacious (also wheelchair accessible) and luckily no carpet. The staff is consistently very friendly and attentive.
Unfortunately our room did not have a closet door. The idea of turning an entire bathroom into a shower with a curtain takes a long time to get used to, but it's very practical for people with disabilities. Unfortunately, the flowers on the tables were more than wilted, which did not fit into the overall picture.

Unfortunately, somehow it smelled musty, in the bathroom in the evening and on the balcony in the morning! Perhaps this was due to a large construction site on the street in front of the hotel. There was a big silverfish in the bathroom.

A very modern and tastefully furnished new hotel. Comfort room is spacious, beautiful view from the balcony. Bathrobe access to Rappsody. Good breakfast buffet with very friendly staff. Bathrobe and towels free of charge upon request.
The chip card for the rap song did not work at first, so I had to return to the reception in a bathrobe. Late check-in, only at 15:00. Too expensive restaurant. The mini bar is still empty due to Corona.

A pleasant and relaxed Easter weekend in an inviting atmosphere
Breakfast is good, the choice could be wider. The service has always been very friendly and attentive. The room was big enough, bright and very clean. The decor is very modern and comfortable, the beds are comfortable, the pillows are too hard for me.
Of course, I did not like the building in front of the hotel. As a result, the underground car park was a little inconvenient to use and could only be reached by detour. But this circumstance is not the fault of the hotel and should not lead to devaluation.

The breakfast is really tasty and lots of choice. The service and hotel staff were so friendly and attentive - great! The rooms were modern and well equipped. The front desk staff were very friendly. If we come to Bad Rappenau again, we already know where we will stay again :)

It was the perfect holiday with nothing missing.
The accommodation was just great. Everything is very nice and tastefully furnished. All facilities were 100% clean and made you feel at home. The restaurant offers very tasty dishes. The half board was just great for us! The double room was very large, bright, comfortably furnished and had a very large bathroom! in general everything was just beautiful.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff in the restaurant and bar were very pleasant and helpful. The prices are ok. The breakfast was rich and there was something for everyone.
At check in there was little information about the hotel in general or for example breakfast times. The man at the front desk was very brief and only showed us where the lift was.

It was a laid back and relaxing birthday weekend. It was wonderful.
The breakfast was excellent and constantly replenished. Since it was my birthday, I even got champagne for breakfast. The service is excellent, the staff is very attentive and polite. The service in the restaurant left nothing to be desired. The menu was relatively small but the quality was excellent. I was completely delighted with the course of bathrobes. I can only recommend the hotel.

A very tastefully furnished hotel where cleanliness is a matter of course. The breakfast was of a good standard and very tasty. The hotel restaurant can really spoil the taste buds. This hotel is recommended from A to Z. Quiet location, excellent interior design, modern and thoughtful rooms, excellent bathrooms, everything is very spacious. Without exception, the staff are all very friendly and accommodating, as is the hotel manager, who is very present and always available. Special wishes were fulfilled with pleasure. Next door at "Rappsody" there are massages, swimming pool, sauna, etc. - associated with a "robe walk" from the hotel. The calm atmosphere in the dining room for breakfast (very good) and dinner (the kitchen is excellent at a high level) is very pleasant.

The breakfast was very good. It was a geek fried egg. Egg, salmon, ham, various fresh sausages, various fruit pastes, muesli, bread, rolls, fresh whole milk and so on.
The bathroom sink is too small. Wash basin 60cm in toilets.

Modern hotel with direct access to the Rappsody thermal baths.
Everything was perfect! The friendliness of the staff, the quality of the beds, the furniture and the bathroom. Buffet breakfast, nice Large and very well lit car park just opposite. Access to the thermal baths for 15 euros, including a bathrobe with a phenomenal sauna in the garden... TOP!

Modern, large, beautiful rooms with a nice, large balcony. Everything is very new and in good condition. View of Bad Rappenau and surroundings. Very friendly, courteous staff in all areas. Delicious breakfast buffet and very good breakfast time (until 11am on weekends). We felt very comfortable with everything. Also very suitable for pets. Our dog liked it too.

Beds can be joined and are a bit hard. (possibly screw and topper on top) Serve fruit salad in small glasses rather than a large bowl.

The hotel offers exceptional comfort and service. The connection to the salt bath through the robe corridor is very convenient. The breakfast buffet couldn't be richer.
This time the half board included a three course menu. There used to be a hot buffet in the evenings which suited our needs more.

Everyone was very friendly, from the cleaning lady to the administration. The entire hotel is very clean and tastefully decorated. The proximity to the Kurpark and the center was also very good.

Everything was very good in the hotel. We really liked the surroundings like the Kurpark etc.

Great hotel, easily fixable loss of comfort
Ideal location close to the Kurpark and the train station. Clean, nicely furnished rooms, large bathroom with a spacious shower. We liked the restaurant and the staff is very friendly. Light, spacious garage. The hotel is very tastefully furnished in the style of a design hotel.
Our superior double room (117) which we booked for 4 nights was right above the kitchen. During our stay the sun shone through the windows of our room during the day. The room was very warm, no air conditioning. When we got back in the evening, we couldn't get much ventilation and we couldn't use the balcony because the room was directly above the kitchen, with the proper cooking steam. We could only ventilate the room when the kitchen closed at 9pm, but then we could hear some kind of unit turning on and off every minute during the night. There was a closet too small, it also has a minibar and a safe. The only storage compartment in the closet is so high you can't reach it. This is exacerbated by the fact that there is only one trunk. So you are forced to live out of a suitcase on the floor. This is acceptable for one night but not acceptable for longer stays. In response to other reviews, the hotel replied that you could ask for a room with a closet, or a movable hanger, or a fan, or an air-conditioned room. I would rather expect these comfort restrictions to be addressed well in advance and that a guest staying for 4 nights with two people in a superior 4 star hotel room will be offered these items at check in. Especially since the hotel is aware of these points, see other reviews and the hotel was not fully booked.

An oasis of calm during a long stressful trip. We regret that we just passed by.
The hotel is furnished with care, well maintained and very quiet. The shower product smells good and is wonderfully relaxing. The staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet consists of good, well-chosen products. We especially appreciate the opportunity to charge our electric car in the hotel garage.

Fantastic new hotel in a quiet location next to the Bad Rappenau spa (you can walk to the spa from the hotel). Modernly furnished hotel with a very comfortable room at the back of the hotel with a spacious balcony overlooking the city. Spacious bathroom with shower. Friendly staff and very good breakfast. The restaurant serves a variety of delicious dishes with matching wines. Cozy lounge and bar. Excellent WiFi. There is a spacious garage.

A married couple with grandchildren in August 2021
As always - everything is excellent. Check-in is fast and competent. Room 1A with 5 stars. The beds are soft and pleasant. Breakfast first cream with everything you need. Especially: the staff was very friendly and polite. A bathrobe to go to Rappsodie is just our theme. Enough parking space and garage. Everything is completely easy. The hotel is quite close to the city with all the necessary shops. The train station is also nearby. Check out is simple, competent and fast. After 5 kilometers you will reach the motorway in all directions. We highly recommend this hotel and keep coming back even if it's just for the weekend.

Great hotel, amazing staff, we will be back!
The breakfast was offered as a buffet and overall was very good, fresh and nicely presented. However, like some of the other guests browsing the review before us, we would have preferred fresh buns over baked buns. Fruit Offering Tip: If you are allergic to pome and stone fruits, it would be nice if a small selection of fruits were offered separately in addition to a colorful fruit salad, sliced or sliced. Always very young waiting staff at breakfast were very attentive and thoughtful. All in all, it was a very pleasant short break at the Saline 1822, we felt very comfortable. This location is ideal for exploring Bad Rappenau on foot and for exploring the beautiful Kraichgau where Bad Wimpfen, Besigheim, Eberbach, Ludwigsburg and Heidelberg are our favorite places.

A suggestion for improvement would be getting breakfast eggs from local livestock farms, or at least getting eggs from free-range hens rather than eggs from cage houses.

New hotel with great design in a quiet location in Bad Rappenau. Large and bright rooms. The bathroom is modern, the beds are great, the ladies at the front desk are very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet leaves a lot to be desired. The hotel restaurant has an excellent menu.

A relaxing break with a wonderful wellness area.
Very nice and modern hotel, direct connection to the sauna and Rappsodie salt bath (bathrobe and sauna towel are provided for this). Very good restaurant in the evening (salt work).
The breakfast service could have been a little more attentive. For example, this coffee was brought in quickly, or that the table hasn't been cleared yet just because you got another lookup. Also, the cleaning ladies started cleaning the rooms very early, which helped us get out of bed if we slept in moderation (until about 8:30 am). Here I would like a little more sensitivity or that the function of locking the door of the room is clear and recognizable.

A pleasant and uncomplicated stay despite the Corona conditions.
The location in the spa is great. It's nice that you can get directly to the pool through the corridor. There is no need to look for a parking space as the hotel has an underground car park.

Everything was perfect.
We booked overnight as a stopover on our way back from Italy to the Netherlands. Due to the enormous chaos on German roads, we arrived later than expected. Although the kitchen was already closed, we had a delicious meal served on the terrace. An added bonus was the spacious room, very nice beds and nice pillows.

The rooms were modern and stylishly furnished. I especially liked the spacious bathroom,
The mattress was too hard. I was disappointed with the supposedly fantastic breakfast. For a 4 star hotel, it seemed pretty mediocre to me. I already have more important things to do in smaller houses. For example, the scrambled and scrambled eggs were already cold and slightly dry at 8am. The choice also left much to be desired.

2021 August 2 adults in love for 40 years
Arrival is easy. Short-term car parking in front of the hotel. Registration is simple. Suitcase in the room, car in the garage. The room is really nice and big, clean and comfortable. Very competent and very friendly welcome. We have been here several times, but even when changing staff, they are always friendly and competent. The beds are soft - the showers are top notch. This time we stayed there for only 3 days, but we can stay here for 2 weeks. Breakfast of the highest category. Anything your heart desires. Sitting by the fireplace in the evening with a Baileys cocktail or something like that is great. It's easy to check. Invoice, handed out the card - ready. Bon Voyage !! We will definitely be back !!!.

The closet was tiny .. at the bottom of the refrigerator .. in the top tall clothes rack and underneath there was a safe storage space was zero. Breakfast: individually freshly prepared egg dishes would have been nice if desired. Buns went like this. Bread was delicious. Instead of sliced cheese, as elsewhere, whole cheese would be better.

I already mentioned this above. Oh yeah, a second frame for a second suitcase as a shelf in the room can be useful too.

Stayed 3 nights and had a minimal wardrobe. As a shelf, a shelf was provided at a height of a good 2 m, and you could put something in the safe. Below is a refrigerator. With a lot of luggage, the only thing you can't unpack is your suitcase😞

A hotel with great city potential in Bad Rappenau - unique!
Registration was easy, very attentive and trained. Despite the Corona, there was a small, very attractive menu and you could have dinner at the hotel with all the security measures in place. Breakfast was plentiful and an extra request for scrambled eggs was fulfilled! We hope that this modern, cozy city hotel with super-thoughtful rooms will be available to us after the Crown - a great location! Underground parking possible - Bad Rappenau is really worth the trip!
