The entire hotel is wonderful.
The beauty of the location, the kindness, in particular, of the two managers Alondra and Tina and the majority of the staff. The food is delicious. Small suggestion however, the dishes were so abundant, the hotel should offer half portions. It often happened that we shared a dish for two people.
The Paraiba room did not have a window, only a door which opened onto the garden but which did not close properly. The air conditioning was very noisy so, as it was hot at night, on the second day we left the screen door open but, as it closed very badly, we ended up with a cockroach in our room which was very unpleasant. Suggestion: since this is not an all-inclusive where the rooms all look the same, and rather it is 18 rooms which are very different from each other, we should see the photos on booking to reserve what suits us best otherwise it is better to book directly with the hotel to express our needs exactly.
sublime beach, coconut palm, waves, everything is there, nickel room, truly heavenly exceptional establishment
the staff is borderline unpleasant, very slow, but that's pretty much the case everywhere in Rep dom. the manager answers the questions asked but above all no more...
A catalog beach with fine sand and palm trees, accommodation in the shape of a Smurfs house but white, very original in appearance - location outside Las Terrenas, which is a plus because Las Terrenas is very noisy (music often very loud and mopeds that pass on the right, on the left, a madness to drive and avoid knocking them over, especially since they don't wear helmets...) Spacious and bright room with sea view through two windows, facing the bed.
That the staff who serve at the table in particular do not speak a language other than Spanish, English at least for example. to meet international standards in a hotel of this level
The rooms are spacious and clean the breakfast is excellent even if it lacks salty (surcharge) Amazing beach view the staff is bilingual in French
coastal erosion means that you have to walk 50m to be able to swim no swimming pool but it is not essential since the sea is in front!
Attention
Beach
the room, the geographical location, the walk by the sea, the setting. A big ++ to the nice lady at the reception who was new but who was extremely adorable (French-Gabonese I think), a little gem! she contributed to our very good stay.
breakfast included in the price very very "light" (breads, butter and jams). we had to take a supplement every morning. it is a pity that breakfast or dinner was not open at the water's edge, we asked several times for the tables at the water's edge in order to enjoy the landscape, categorical refusal from the staff at the restaurant. it was not open, it's a shame.
Very good. simple but good
That they charged a 10 percent tip on the room rate, and I understand it does not apply
An oasis of peace in an exceptional place where you let yourself be lulled by the sound of the sea. The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant table, which is of French-Caribbean inspiration, is really worth the detour. The sheets are worthy of those found in large hotels. I have stayed periodically at the Atlantis, and I certainly intend to return.
Nothing
The friendliness of all the staff. Check out was at 3 and we were still having lunch, we warned that we could be a little late and they told us to take all the time we wanted since the room was not reserved
The location was very nice. At. Eat great view of the sea. Dinner was excellent and breakfast delicious. You can tell that everyone who works there puts their hearts into it. There was absolutely nothing to complain about, only praise for this charming accommodation.
The weather was not great during our stay. But the accommodation can't do anything about that :-)
Breakfast is so-so.
Breakfast should include eggs or cheese and ham.
Good service, comfortable environment and delicious food
Wifi didn't work properly from the room
The location in Punta Bonita is impressive. It has beautiful architecture and a privileged front line. Friendly staff. very relaxing hotel
The food is a bit expensive, but he is a good cook; breakfast only continental, additional services are paid separately; a bit lacking in atmosphere but there is a beach club next door
we loved the absolute tranquility, the helpfulness of the staff, the direct access to the beach, and what about the exquisite and fresh cuisine of former chef François Mitterrand? delicious!
just not enough hair dryer (but that's a quibble).
View, beach.
There is no pool.
location, beauty of the place, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff
Wi-Fi connection not available in the room
I liked the beach comfortable bed
The air conditioning is not good The breakfast that they provide of bread and butter is terrible, it was dissecting for my family
what I liked the most was the very calm and very natural environment
continental breakfast should have other options because it's very limited... like putting fruit, eggs... something simple like this is not very expensive and the customer will be happy.
Lunch with sea view Super exotic hotel garden bungalow, very private, very well integrated, overlooking paradise beach
amenities and proximity to the sea and the pedestrian promenade
nothing to mention
The location of the hotel is perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the Dominican streets. Atypical accommodation allows you to completely disconnect from everyday life, access to the beach from the bar is a real pleasure. paradise with breakfast by the sea
on the
It's in front of the sea
We had a wedding anniversary, we discussed it so that it would be taken into account and there were no details
Ideal for relaxation. Quiet, clean beach and turquoise sea. Our porter was available with a charming little accent. The hotel took our wishes very well and organized a surprise for our daughter's birthday.
The hotel needs to revise their copy for breakfast. Not that it's bad or not enough because it offers a very proper continental breakfast, but rather in the form. It would be less annoying to include an omelet and fruit, even if it means a slight increase in the price of the room and not offering as many of them as you want.
The location of the hotel on a dream beach and the friendliness of the staff, always ready to help. Room with every comfort and typical Caribbean flavor
The price of lunches and dinners is very high. If you have a couple of drinks a day and a one course dinner, it will set you back $200 per day (including lodging). For that price, you get an all-inclusive holiday in a luxury resort.
the proximity to the beach and eco concept
the placement of breakfast and that it does not have a TV
Kitchen, views, room, bed, decoration, cleanliness, tranquility, beach access and staff.
Any.
beautiful rooms with everything you need, beautiful outdoor areas
breakfast included very basic, some fresh fruit, given the wide choice and low price in the area, could make a difference without being too intrusive and making a good impression.
all
nothing
everything - the beach is beautiful and lonely. there are high waves - unlike many other bays. The complex is meticulously detailed and beautiful. no anonymous resort feeling without love. the kitchen is excellent. The wine list is excellent. The hotel loves dogs (we think it's great). Hotel Docita's dog made our time there even better! the staff is very friendly and attentive and helpful
Nothing . that we should leave
the most expensive hotel of our road trip in rep dom reserved for my wife’s birthday… The disappointment of our trip!!! room without terrace overlooking the reception and the restaurant… 1h30 waiting for spaghetti with seafood which was nothing exceptional… the restaurant is totally overrated and overpriced… icing on the cake (birthday… !!!😋) everything is paid for at breakfast, supposedly included… except coffee, butter and bread! I've never seen that anywhere else... a hallu...
to finish the staff is moderately friendly, especially in the restaurant… only the young woman at the reception who is called Alondra is adorable… and attentive… I regret having booked there and I will never set foot there again…! Oh I forgot, loud music from a nearby restaurant with huge basses that made our bed vibrate and that stopped at…6am!!!
staff are friendly and available
The Internet connection was not stable enough for proper remote operation.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Very nice beach and surroundings.
It is a quiet, very safe and very well located place, close to the rest of the places in Playa Bonita and Playa Cosón. The food in the restaurant is very good if you compare it with the rest of the area, although the price is higher. The hotel's beach is not the best, but just a few steps away you can enjoy a paradisiacal beach.
Breakfast is bread with butter and jam. I think they should improve it by adapting to the offer of other hotels in the area, which offer more variety included at the same or lower price. The air was not working.
Amazing place. Calm and incredibly romantic. In this place you should not care or worry about anything. For you already thought and provided for all your requests. Just relax and rest. We were in this paradise for 5 days and decided to return again as soon as possible. The food is of a good standard. And breakfast and dinner. I was celebrating my 50th birthday, I ordered a romantic dinner on the ocean, they did it in the best possible way. To be honest, I did not expect such a level of service. The room called JAMAICA is a miracle. I definitely recommend. Balcony to the ocean. It was beyond praise, all 5 days. Thanks a lot.
To be honest, I expected more from a French author's restaurant. One Chic dish is Criole beef fillet. The rest was not impressive. Side dishes are the same for all dishes from the menu. They just put all the side dishes at once, a little bit at a time, with each order. No, they are all good, but strange. I was also annoyed by the slow service in the restaurant. Very slow. But everyone is attentive, polite and caring. It is obvious that they are trying. There just doesn't seem to be enough waiters. In any case, you will not find better food within a radius of 10 km. So this is really the best restaurant in the area.
carcass
the absence of a beach and therefore a swimming pool
Beautiful room, very comfortable, spotless and spacious bathroom with air conditioning in every room.
The beach is very small
Spacious room and comfortable beds, beautiful beach. Amazing breakfast, although you had to pay extra to extend it. And the staff is very friendly. In short, our stay there was very blessed.
I didn't like it during lunch, they have a reserve system. We forgot to order and there was no table for us. They should have more free tables!!
The bread for breakfast, the swing facing the sea and the availability of equipping us with an extra mattress that we needed
It is on the 1st line of the beach, however, perhaps due to the rise in sea level, in front of the hotel there is no suitable place to bathe. You have to walk a bit to the left or right to find a good place to take a good dip. I did not like that at breakfast they do not offer eggs or anything substantial. I had to pay extra for that. If they say breakfast included, one assumes that they include an accompaniment to bread (apart from butter and jams), at least ham and cheese. Although the hotel is nice, the service staff friendly and the room comfortable and clean, I expected more for the price.
all
no pool
The cleanliness & the breakfast man
Unfriendliness & arrogance of the front desk staff
Delicious breakfast Good place, nicely decorated
The sea is a little restless, it is calmer around the cape, but there is practically no shade, it would be great to take umbrellas with you
The style of the hotel fits in well with the landscape. The oceanfront tropical garden setting is very pleasant and peaceful. The view is beautiful. The sea view room was large and very comfortable.
It's not the hotel's fault, but with rising ocean levels, the beach is gone and we're left on a lawn overhanging the water. On the other hand, there are excellent beaches a few hundred meters away. However, I was confused by one detail ... Not the lack of a TV or a pool. But when you read "breakfast included" you mean bread, butter and jam. Dot. If you want an omelet or fruit, consider adding $5 per person... When you pay almost $190 for a room, having to add $10 a day to eat a few eggs or fruit with coffee seems very small to me. ... Raise your prices by $10 a night and offer your customers a real breakfast!
There are no shortcomings in the hotel. It is ideal for an unforgettable holiday. Thanks to Alondra, Hugo, Tico and everyone else.
the staff and the quality of the food the charm of the place and the room great attention to cleanliness and making you feel comfortable.
nothing
Small village hotel on a great beach in a very quiet location. We had a rather large room with a very small terrace. Very suitable for a short vacation. We will come again ;-))))
French restaurant with minor flaws: My steak was overcooked but was exchanged. Dessert was paid twice, but the little things should not be. Otherwise, the staff tried very hard, but, as usual, not particularly fast.
Everything. Location, room, staff. Thank you Lark and Mare!

The staff were just exceptional and caring, a quiet and relaxing hotel in a heavenly setting! Only positives, we would be back there in no time!
The pineapple marmalade that you get every day for breakfast is an absolute dream - I miss it to this day, we'll probably have to try to make it... The buildings used for accommodation are interesting, beautiful, and perfectly functional. A beautiful beach at your fingertips and, last but not least, absolutely great - always helpful staff at the reception and in the restaurant. Thumbs up!
Breakfast is not a buffet, but a package of things (pastry, butter, jams, tea/coffee and juice). If that's enough for you, you're fine, if not, you have to buy something else. The dinner menu is limited (and if you're staying longer, you may find that you're just going for the old classics). We were sorry that the sun rises and sets over the land / forest, not over the sea. The location of the hotel is not the best, since it is damn far to the center of Las Terrenas and there is nothing in the immediate vicinity of the hotel except for a walk on the beach. But still - it's definitely not misery and all the small flaws are richly compensated by many exceptional advantages!!
Everything from the architecture of the hotel, the location, the quality of the food.
Any
We really liked the location and the restaurant of excellent quality.
our room, of average comfort with paintings to be redone but above all an old little fridge which made a hellish noise and made it difficult to sleep
Location, restaurant, hotel. We had a great time looking forward to returning.
place beach calmness and atmosphere of the institution and especially the dishes of the chef Gerard!
Everything corresponds to the expected postcard. Thanks again to Gerard for his advice to discover the beauties of Las Terrenas and if you have even the slightest concern, Gerard is always there to find the best solution possible!
Nothing
The charm of the hotel, the restaurant. Quiet place away from the city and close to very beautiful beaches
Modernization of the bathroom with a shower cabin and a hair dryer Slightly later sun loungers
Location by the Boulevard and the other nearby restaurants
Attention and the beach that is not one of the best in Terrenas and was with a lot of waves Breakfast was not the best
perfect location great restaurant perfect hotel size (not too many rooms and good atmosphere) beautiful private beach
Location, rooms and clean place
that they can have a more varied breakfast,
Individual hotel, idyllic location, very familiar and clean - the best food from French and national cuisine. Very friendly and fast staff - requests and questions were always taken care of immediately. Tastefully decorated and spacious rooms with large bathrooms, bright, clean and comfortable. Refrigerator, air conditioning, fan and mosquito net on patio doors and more. The hotel offers comfortable sun loungers adjacent to the water. The sandy beach is right next to the hotel, which offers all sorts of opportunities in close proximity: Caribbean flair with gentle waters and plenty of sun, or the windy side with higher surf waves and shady spots. Both are either on the right or on the left, each about 100 meters from the hotel. The beach is fenced with palm trees and beautiful vegetation. No loud music. No resort feel.
amenities landscape cordial attitude of the staff
dinner menu should be more varied and lighter
Cosy, spacious and very well maintained. French owner. The food is very well presented and very tasty!
windows don't close all the way, mosquitoes fly in. mosquito repellent!
Super atmosphere and breakfast
some amenities are missing
The establishment is located on an exceptional beach, with little traffic and very intimate, in the midst of exceptional villas. 15 minutes from the center by taxi.
Paradise by the sea Attentive and dedicated staff. Bed linen, what can I say, the best in the country. Joy!
The internet is down, but in Las Terrenas nobody can do anything about it…
I liked that they treated us very well, always very friendly, very helpful, we ate divinely.
The hotel and staff are the best.
...
Everything is very good, enjoy. this place is amazing Few tables for dinner but great food good value good price. There is a lot of noise in the early morning due to people who come to rest, this must be checked.
It's a beautiful place, excellent staff attention, great food and very well kept facilities. I would come back a thousand times!!
Atlantis is a hotel where I usually go either as a couple or as a family, it is quite applicable for both. Every time I go I can say it's a different and better experience. The theme of the hotel is one of the best things as it is different and helps to relax and unwind. The restaurant has excellent food and good value for money. The location is perfect as it is right on the beach.
I have always liked the hotel, however, the beds are only enough for the weekend... And when you are looking for extreme comfort to spend a few days, well, that would be a detail to consider.
Different Mediterranean style design
Old, noisy air conditioning, after a few hours of use it makes a lot of noise! NOTV!!! unusual!!!…
Beach
a parking lot with a lot of dirt from the rain, could fill it with rubble entirely.
View of my room from a small terrace
They should add something else to breakfast, not just bread and coffee.
Good location in front of the beach. very comfortable and quiet
Location on the beach, welcome, perfect family apartment for 3. Restaurant with a lot of choice (food and wine). Full breakfast.
Shower (uncomfortable watering can).
Personal attention close to everything comfortable and clean rooms
We really liked the location of the hotel, its tranquility, the beach and the great view. We were also pleasantly surprised by the quality of Clementine's welcome when we arrived and her availability during the stay. The staff is also very friendly. Special mention deserves the hotel restaurant, where we ate every day, in other words, we were never disappointed. All is well, you see, very well. I recommend this hotel with my eyes closed. A very pleasant surprise for us. Credit and Julie
Absolutely everything... Exceptional hospitality and staff, gourmet cuisine, beautiful surroundings, ideally located on Bonita beach.
The hotel and rooms are very beautiful and well equipped, the location is very beautiful (be careful, you can't swim at the foot of the hotel, you have to walk 300m left or right), the kitchen, the delight (an unforgettable memory of tuna and pie snacks with passion!) and the staff, two managers in particular, efficient and caring! The atmosphere is family friendly and very pleasant. Thanks for everything, we'll be back!
Location attention
Extraordinary location - to the ocean a minute of time, all breakfasts and dinners take place with a view of the ocean - an unforgettable sight! The dishes in the restaurant are simply incredibly tasty, but be careful - the portions are very large and there is a chance to overeat!) The room itself is clean, spacious, toilet and shower in the room, cleaning every morning, so the room is incredibly clean! Special thanks to the entire Atlantis hotel team - they are extremely hospitable and friendly people who went to meet us in any case and had an answer to all our questions! Special thanks to Clementina and Alex, who made every day of our stay at the hotel unforgettable! I also want to mention the decoration of the hotel - the dog Docita, an incredibly colorful lady who accompanied us to the beach and guarded our peace in the restaurant!) Our vacation seemed simply incredible, I already miss Atlantis and will definitely come back here again!
Everything is fine!
The location is excellent, the food in the restaurant is spectacular, a good atmosphere, a beautiful beach, a unique landscape, perfect for disconnecting from day to day.
I think the rooms could be a little more comfortable, although I loved that they are all right in front of the beach
The spacious and quiet room - the proximity to the beach just in front of the hotel The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff
Everything was great
Great location, very good but expensive restaurant.
Small rooms, no terrace. Too expensive.
Excellent!!! We were surprised! GRATEFULLY! Staff facilities, and especially the Restaurant! Very good!! Congratulations!!👏👏
