very romantic
Breakfast
Very friendly and welcoming!
Peace, cleanliness, helpfulness and competence of the staff. A forgotten item was immediately sent to my home. Walk to the center is about 20 minutes long, we knew that beforehand. You could also easily take the tram, the stop is about 200 m away.
one minor thing: the light from the bedside lamp is a bit far away and therefore reading became difficult. Unfortunately no German channels on the TV.
A small cozy room with a comfortable bed, a TV, a desk, a hairdryer, a walk-in closet, a safe. We were pleasantly surprised to have a kettle and a coffee maker in the room. The hotel has guest rooms where you can come with friends to drink coffee/tea so as not to sit in the room. If you are traveling without spare clothes, there are bathrobes and slippers in the room, and the hotel has laundry and ironing services. Delicious breakfasts: a main dish to choose from the menu + a buffet table with snacks and desserts. From the window of the restaurant you can see a wonderful panorama of the city.
The breakfast was very nice!
- interior; - location; - kettle, coffee pot, bathrobes and good slippers; - cosmetics of local production; - cozy, warm. the presence of adjustable batteries, dryers; - wide high bed; - router in the room; - the presence of opening windows; - mini lobby on each floor; - attractions nearby; - a good Czech restaurant is also close by
- the rain in the shower needs to be replaced, the switch button is broken
Calm down
The neighbor who plays sports at 6am but it's not the hotel's fault

Beautiful location....Facilities...

beautiful location, impressive view from the restaurant, great work by the lady at the reception
the price-quality ratio of the breakfast, the clothes of the breakfast attendants, the reconstruction of the restaurant when there are guests in it, the quality and appearance of the assortment of the breakfast buffet
Incomparable breakfast, wonderful structure, king-like location.
Nothing, everything is great
Very good breakfast with a view of the entire city. Quiet location between Strachov Monastery and Prague Castle, about half an hour across Charles Bridge to Town Hall Square. Lots of green/ spacious park right next door.
No real stopping possibility in front of the hotel (absolute stopping ban). Parking costs an additional approx. 20 euros per night. A colleague accidentally damaged a glass carafe and then had to pay for it... rather unusual for a hotel of this category.

Compressor sound outside
Great place for city trips. Great staff, nice and private rooms, very good breakfast.
Very noisy and weak wifi.
I liked the reception the most. We were warmly welcomed, given a drink and even gently escorted to our room. This has never happened to me before when I entered a hotel. Throughout our stay the staff were always very friendly and we didn't need anything.
The bed in the room was a little harder than we were used to. We didn't expect it to be so hard. It took a while to get used to, but then everything was fine again. We also didn't ask for another bed because it wasn't that bad. Besides, there really wasn't anything wrong
Very good breakfast with friendly staff
great location, great view, very good breakfast, cozy room
Parking situation (as everywhere in the center of Prague)
Very nice hotel, nice room, good mattress.
I skipped the eggs for the breakfast buffet.
The hotel is impressively beautiful and has a wonderful atmosphere. the place is quiet and gives a beautiful view of Prague1. the difficult but beautiful way to the top is definitely worth it ♥️ the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Cleanliness 1A 👌 deserves each of the 4 stars 🤗
I can't think of anything to be honest
Nothing to complain about here, great location. Quiet, romantic idyll. Beautiful nature and breathtaking view.
The air conditioner was making a loud noise even though it was turned off.
Fantasy through and through. Atmosphere and calm despite being a tourist place. Even on weekends it was a quiet place despite the busy streets. The beds are excellent. A bowl of water and a bed were available for the dog. The breakfast is very good, the view and setting in the breakfast room are wonderful. I recommend trying cereals from the menu, there are more than enough delicacies. Everything from the best quality buffet and a little bit of everything. The courtesy and hospitality of the staff in the breakfast room cannot be beaten. Here you feel like a welcome guest.
The hotel is not very suitable for people with disabilities. The tour of the house is certainly good, but if you arrive at night and have come a very long way, perhaps you could do it the next day. The air conditioner was noisy even though it was turned off. The alternative was a room without a great view, which is not what you want.
stay at your hotel it has exceeded all our expectations. view, facilities, atmosphere, staff… value for money. we are excited! Thanks a lot.
Everything is clean and comfortable and the location is very quiet
I was so happy
The approach of the staff was excellent, with only one complaint (vid minus). The location, the hotel, everything was amazing.
The room was close to the outdoor air conditioner (apparently from the kitchen), so an unpleasant sound from it could be heard above the morning. As a minus, I also have to say that there was no option for a vegan breakfast, despite the fact that we asked in advance if they could provide at least vegan yogurt and butter, which would not be a lot, and with the price of breakfast €18, which we were willing to pay, it would be a negligible item. That's why I put one point down.
The location is very good, the breakfast is solved very well by a separate card.
It would be nice if the summer terrace was open longer than 18 hours.
An absolutely exceptional place with a view of the whole of Prague
nothing
very well maintained... best location
no bar
Everything was 1*, nice and helpful waiters, they recommended what to have for breakfast.
We were satisfied with everything.
Location with great view, breakfast with lots of variety, absolutely fresh. Very nice room and very polite staff.
nothing
The staff were very friendly. We were greeted with champagne and taken to our room. Service that I have never experienced in any other hotel.
The location is great, 10 min walk to Charles Bridge but still very quiet and a great view of the city from the mountain. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were very clean and comfortable beds, we slept very well. Good and very attentive service, morning and afternoon on the hotel's own terrace with absolutely amazing views of the whole city! Small hotel with 29 rooms. We also recommend the Norberts restaurant, about 2 minutes walk away, with great food and prices. We are very happy to come again and can only recommend it.
It would be nice if you could sit on the terrace in the evening as it has a great location and view. Makes for a day out depending on how busy it gets (terrace and bar from home but available to everyone). But that's not a criticism. but much more consideration is whether this large bar could not be opened longer.
Great location, very friendly staff and incredibly good breakfast.
Breakfast average for the price, daughter also found hair on the plate and baked in the fritter.
The noise from the room above us, the wooden ceiling unfortunately carried every step like a rumble and considering that the guests above us were getting up at six o'clock on a Sunday morning, it was really not pleasant.
The breakfast was very good! Extraordinary view! The parking is great! The staff is polite and pleasant! Ideal!
Perfect location, great view with luxurious and very good breakfast. very pleasant and polite staff. The hotel is located in a very beautiful monastery complex.
nothing
Older fresh building with a fantastic view and with accommodating staff!
Long hill up to the hotel from the center.
Pleasant and helpful staff. Walking distance to Prague Castle. Nice decor.

Very clean hotel. Friendly staff. Good service. Outstanding breakfast.
The breakfast was excellent. It was the best thing in the hotel. The breakfast was organized very lovingly. Rooms should have been booked at least superior rooms. It was also very noisy due to the tour group. The staff had to have some influence and attention.
The room was too small, as was the bathroom.
Exceptional location, in a building adjacent to the Strahov Monastery.
Great location, great breakfast.
Great location, nice clean hotel and friendly staff.
breakfast menu, place to visit the castle in the evening.
poor soundproofing of the room and bad smell in the bathroom,
great location with great views. nice spacious and clean rooms with all amenities. breakfast is a real treat. good start to the day. the staff is friendly and very helpful
If you prefer views and tranquility, Questenberg is ideally located. From the rooms and the breakfast room, you can really contemplate, like a cartographer, all the roofs of the city, identify and find the main monuments behind the green slopes of a very beautiful park. The hotel is very clean, both in the common areas and in the rooms. The breakfast is very complete and of good quality.
The coldness of the front desk staff who struggle to compensate with quiet music and a welcome drink. His inexpressive, completely neutral attitude gives the impression of clones of the film "Welcome to Gattaca". Don't wait for him to offer to help you load or unload your luggage, for someone to take you to your room, or for your minor problems to be sorted out during your stay. And speaking of problems, the first of them, and far from the last, is that the hotel actually has no parking spaces. If you chose it because of this, you will be unpleasantly surprised that you will have to look for a place that will cost you at least CZK 600 for 24 hours, while your vehicle will not be protected from door strikes or other damage caused by passing through. tourists. Then you might run into little things like "don't empty" trash cans, not replacing open water bottles if you're staying more than one night, doubting your word when you say the coffee pods don't fit or that the machine does not work (all this in order to change it secretly during your absence).

Great location in the historical center of Prague, but away from the crowds of tourists. Just opening the beautiful door of an old hotel is an experience. Very well equipped room, very friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel does not have its own car park, so the public car park can sometimes be crowded. It took a long time to get used to the operation of the parking machine, even a friendly local resident had his own difficulties.
The breakfast is exceptional in quality and choice. You can order a special a la carte dish every day and it's all very tasty. A wonderful treat along with the view from the breakfast room.
The bed was too soft for my taste.
the excellent location of the hotel, it is convenient and quick to walk to all the main attractions of the city. The hotel staff is extremely attentive and polite, thank you very much! Delicious breakfasts for an affordable price + a beautiful view of the city as a bonus:)
very beautiful, exclusive place above the Prague Castle; hotel's own parking lot in the Strahov Monastery (approx. 2 min. walk); very good connection to the old town by tram 22 (approx. 15 minutes by tram to Narodni Divadlo/National Theatre); very good, individual breakfast (several tables in the breakfast room with a fantastic view of Prague); overall a very decent, quiet hotel in a well maintained monument; no tourist groups; Meeting with a glass of champagne, departure and payment in a very pleasant, personal atmosphere.
For us, a great location with a view of Prague. Great service, great staff. Thanks again for the surprise from the team on our mom's birthday.
structure and location
Location hospitality
We arrived in the evening after 9 hours by car, perfect room, nothing was missing, we parked the car in one of the places reserved for the hotel, you need to get there by turning around the block, but after 3 minutes, going through the internal stairs, which you will arrive had a great time at the hotel. So, breakfast after the first day of learning how to move became a ritual: from spending an hour in this beautiful salon to planning the day and tasting sweet and savory delicacies, from pancakes to French toast and eggs cooked in a thousand ways, from fresh salmon to yogurt, fruit, bread and more, everything is really good. In the evening come back dead tired a good shower and relax, quiet room with all amenities .... the only downside is the bed!
The bed can be seen wonderful, high full of pillows, but alas!!! too soft, both the mattress that is above the two beds and the pillows, the rating is still subjective, but for our back it was not the top!! Another small note of disappointment: the bathroom floor and carpet were never cleaned in 5 days, the bed was not changed after 3 days as stated, and much less was done, only pulled out! ok details but they leave a bitter taste in the mouth
It is difficult to imagine a better location, everything is very tastefully and appropriately furnished for a historic house, while being very comfortable and spacious. Very polite staff. We really enjoyed. You should definitely treat yourself to breakfast.
I liked everything! We are delighted!
The breakfast is simply amazing with an incredible view of old Prague from the restaurant! We tasted eggs benedict, scramble with truffle oil and omelet with filling. In addition to the main course, there is a buffet offering red fish, jamon, various cheeses, olives, fruits, pastries, desserts, champagne))), orange juice. The coffee was very tasty! We went on a honeymoon trip, about which we wrote to the hotel before the trip. Upon arrival, we had a surprise - we were upgraded to a room for free. The room was very cozy and very warm, with a beautiful view of the monastery (to which the hotel belongs, by the way). The bathroom had cool Penhaligon's cosmetics. There were also bathrobes, very comfortable slippers, and there was even an umbrella in the closet. The staff is simply incredibly polite and friendly! Upon arrival, we were offered juice or a glass of champagne😊 The location, in my opinion, is perfect! Charles Bridge is less than 1 km away. The hotel is located on a mountain, near the monastery, from where an incredible view of old Prague opens! Since the hotel is not in the old town itself, it is very quiet and peaceful, there are almost no tourists. And the walk from the hotel to the Charles Bridge runs through a very beautiful old street with beautiful houses, cozy cafes and shops. We recommend this hotel 100%
Perfect location, hotel with a wonderful atmosphere of a historic building. The equipment is very tasteful, practical and comfortable, cleanliness is perfect. Perfect, very kind, helpful and completely professional staff. Great breakfast with a wonderful view of Prague. I warmly recommend.
There is nothing we can complain about.
We stayed in the hotel for the first time about 4 years ago and the place is absolutely amazing, the rooms are exceptional, the staff is amazing, the breakfast is royal. We always love to come back.
There is nothing I would complain about.
Very good support at the front desk, including forwarding forgotten chargers. Nice, well equipped room with a very nice large double bed. Good breakfast with friendly staff. Great view of Prague from the terrace of the neighboring monastery restaurant.
Bathroom with relatively little storage space by the sink. Tasteless industrial bread for breakfast. Note: not suitable for wheelchairs due to the inevitable stairs in front of the entrance.
A hotel with atmosphere. Super staff, waiter Peter exemplary service. Fantastic breakfast. Everyone is nice and helpful. We got a superior room without extra charge, although we had a standard room. Amazing cosmetics, complete equipment in the room, including a full bar, coffee, tea. scale and umbrella... Maps of sights, afternoon snack. Prague Castle in sight. An exceptional medieval object modified with taste.
Nothing
I recommend! In the historic center, complete peace, beautiful clean hotel, very friendly staff. I also recommend buying breakfast, it's worth it!!
Great location, great view from the breakfast room with a very tasty breakfast. Very friendly staff, the room is very clean and spacious (since it's an old palace, but no balcony and only small windows).
I have to write that the breakfast was really fantastic and a fabulous location.
The breakfast was excellent, it is better to choose a deluxe double room with a city view than a superior double room (a bit more space). Excellent location as a starting point. Always Glade!
Beautiful hotel with the best view of the city imaginable. Prague Castle is in close proximity and the Old Town is about 15 minutes walk. The staff is very polite and service oriented. The room was clean and very comfortable. In addition to the usual care products, the room had scales, protective detergents and water. We slept well because it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was excellent and made our entire stay enjoyable. There was a buffet and also, for example, French toast on the menu. And we also had a premium table by the window, from which the whole old city was visible :)
The hotel is on a mountain... but luckily there is an Uber in Prague!
helpful and kind staff - elegant and well equipped room/elegant and well equipped room - comfortable bed/comfortable bed - great breakfast/fantastic breakfast - location of the hotel close to Czernin Palace and Loreta, the Prague Castle was also close /location close to Czernin Palace and Loreta, the Prague Castle was also close
Rested here with my husband from 11 to 16 March 2020. The location is very convenient. The hotel is part of the Strahov Monastery. Conveniently. You can also take a walk in the park. The mountain offers stunning views of the city. Transport was not used at all. You can walk to the main attractions. Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Wenceslas Square, Vysehrad (it is the farthest, 4.5 km). The rooms are all thought out to the smallest detail for a comfortable stay. The staff is always ready to help, explain, suggest. Breakfasts are not included in the price. For a fee. But they are really tasty and filling. We took breakfast once, never again. But only because we wanted to try different things in different places. After breakfast at the hotel, despite the active walk, I didn’t feel like eating for 6 hours exactly👍🏻 The hotel left the most pleasant impressions. If we return to Prague again, we will definitely stay here. And we will recommend to friends.
Nothing
Spacious, beautiful and quiet accommodation. Close to the tram. Nice surroundings.
Missed a bar.
Cozy small hotel. Good location and beautiful views from the windows (at least in the restaurant), everything you need for a comfortable stay, great breakfasts (expensive, but very tasty and elegant), friendly staff. I managed to book a room at an adequate price at 10 pm on December 31st.
Breakfasts could be a little cheaper, but if I stay here again, I can hardly refuse them.
Ideally located, good breakfast, great beds, great service, you will be truly pampered.
The glasses in the minibar were not refilled enough. The water in the shower was difficult to regulate.
The service is excellent and the breakfast is phenomenal. Excellent.
Gourmet breakfast served with champagne
Everything is super
