The owner told us when we arrived (although planned) at 4:30 p.m. that the accommodation had already been rented a long time ago to others on AirBnB, and that we had the choice between cancellation and other accommodation. Cancellation was out of the question because it is strictly impossible to find accommodation in Trogir for a family the same evening, whatever the price. The other accommodation is located 15 minutes from the old town (where the accommodation initially reserved was located), in an unfriendly area of ​​buildings under construction. Nothing to do with the accommodation initially reserved and paid for 1 month in advance. The explanations given (very probably false) strongly suggest that the owner found a tenant willing to pay more than our reservation, and sought to accommodate us in another low-class unrentable accommodation. After complaining to Booking, the owner will reimburse the night. This compensation is of course negligible compared to the stress generated and the 2 hours lost trying to find new accommodation.
