Welcoming
Super cozy apartment, kind and helpful owner. The house has everything: in addition to a washing machine and washing powder, there is also a vertical iron and the ability to dry clothes in a small front garden.

Avoid !!
A bit.. Shabby, dirty, uncomfortable accommodation. The owner is responsive, but the accommodation disappoints you.

a very pleasant stay also because the apartment is close to the center
the hostess was very hospitable (she was waiting for us at the house) and told us what to visit and also where to eat. the apartment is very close to the city center and the bus stop (recommended for traveling to the old town)

The Melodiya apartment disappointed and embittered us. Promised well, good reviews and strategic location. Upon arrival, the owner was kind and helpful, only to request cash payment, despite the fact that card payment was indicated (with justification for the exchange rates that the bank would have applied given the transaction in kunas). Considering the late hour and the kindness we received, the owner showed us an ATM with a lower than average exchange rate and made an appointment for us at 10am the next day. When we settled in for the night, we found the shower filthy (pulling a paper towel over the shower tray turned it black), hair all over the house, and a poorly stocked kitchen (only 2 dishes: 1 regular and 1 oval serving dish), not very clean, but acceptable. For visibility, the bed, toilet, sink were clean and with no visible problems (the kitchen smelled, especially from the door under the sink, but the owner told us that it was because of the previous tenants, also ITALIAN, who always cooked fish.). Considering the amount charged to be unfair, we decided to request a price reduction on the first night only. The next day, on a phone call, the hostess came to the reception an hour late, promising to clean the apartment, but continuing to claim that the shower was a LITTLE dirty (the hostess herself held out a paper towel on the shower tray, which turned gray, I think we removed most of the day before!) and denied us a price reduction due to booking fees.

Great welcome from the owner. Accommodation near the bus stop to visit the old town (take bus number 6, it runs every 10 minutes. The journey takes 8 minutes).
An apartment on the ground floor of a house in a residential area, we did not expect this. Garbage in a parking lot does not create a good image, it deserves to be taken care of to make it safer. However, for one night it's ok and finally the area is quiet. We would have had to change the toilet which was broken and the fridge didn't work, this morning when we woke up there was water everywhere. Also replace a clothesline that is too old.

Welcome. Everything you need for a short stay. In close proximity to the bus stop to the old town and a small promenade leading to the beach. Free parking is a real plus in Dubrovnik!
We were 2 adults and 1 child 2 years old, it gets crowded quickly.

The hostess was very nice, calmly explained everything to me and gave special tips on what to see in Dubrovnik. Everything you need was there, of course, for a low price. So I can only recommend accommodation to everyone.
