Food prices are high but worth it for the taste and the amount they offer. It would be nice if they improve the sound in the bar and offer parties.

Perfect location on the beach.
The location is perfect, right on the beach and with incredible views, also very close to the street with restaurants and shops. It also has a guarded parking lot.
The breakfast if I noticed something simple but rich. It is a buffet type, but limited in terms of what you can take from each of the dishes.

A nice hostel in front of the beach
The hostel facilities were in excellent condition, the pool was very good and clean, as was the whole place. Its location in front of the beach is ideal for going for a walk and reaching other destinations such as the Palomino river, the restaurant has à la carte dishes (a little more expensive than other places) but the comfort of eating right there with an ocean view It makes up for it, and the cocktails were very tasty. They give you the Wi-Fi code for the rooms, which is very good because the signal in them is very low. The room, despite not having air conditioning (there were others that did) I did not need it, the fan cools the place and you can sleep peacefully, likewise the mosquito nets keep you safe from mosquitoes. In my case, when I arrived from Santa Marta, they recommended a transport service that was excellent and very comfortable, it dropped me off at the door, it was the best because it was raining very hard when I arrived, and the hostel is very far from the town, anyway One way they picked me up at the door of the hostel and took me to the Santa Marta airport.
The room lacks a small fridge to keep things that one can buy outside like water or other drinks, the light in the bathroom is dim but that's okay, maybe some people may find it too dark. All the hostel staff are very friendly and they take good care of you, however, they lack proactivity, when we were at the pool we always had to go find the waiter to take an order, and they never appeared again, so if you wanted to ask something else or to have the dishes picked up, it was time to go look for it again, also at other times of the day other than breakfast (which was when they were very attentive) many times we sat in the restaurant and up to 10 minutes passed and the waiter did not I was not going to take the order... or take the cards to see what to choose, on a couple of occasions not even waving to them, they literally passed you by and didn't ask you anything, you had to raise your hand to call them or wait for them to were close to a table of yours to ask for the letter.

Rustic but clean and nice. A bit expensive for what it offers.
The hotel is well located, in front of the beach and close to the street with shops and restaurants. The pool is small but nice. The room we were given, a bit noisy, since the pool is in the center of the hotel, you can hear everything. Also footsteps on the second floor due to the type of material, I suppose, but they close this common area at a reasonable hour, so it's nothing to write home about. Good beds and bathrooms and everything very clean, especially with how difficult it is next to the beach, they make an effort to keep the bathrooms and showers and the pool area very clean.
For the price and being a 3 star hotel it would have to be more "professional". For example: the reception is on the beach and not at the entrance, so your bags are not received and there is no one to tell you what to do when you arrive. It was the taxi boy who gave us directions and then when we were at the pool we had to guide 2 tourists who did not know what to do. It is also annoying because it takes up a lot of your time, as they insist on charging your daily consumption every night, instead of making a single bill that you pay when you check out, as is usual in a hotel of this level. The stray dogs that they keep in such bad shape, one especially sick with scabies, were so pitiful and at the same time terrible in the restaurant, always on top, scratching the poor thing. They are details that could take them to another level

Very good location, next to the beach and not far from the "main" avenue, very good atmosphere and respect for people who need to relax. Excellent attention Adrian, super willingness to help in everything! And also from the guys in the restaurant (Yuri and Emerson) super willingness to answer random questions, not necessarily from Finca Escondida. So highly recommended, this is the perfect combination of backpacker hostel and hotel.
The showers in the shared bathrooms need a place to leave things.

It's a nice place on the beach, with a nice pool. Also a private restaurant on the beach with a good menu. José, an employee, solved a number of issues well and pleasantly for us.
Unfortunately, there was no water pressure and no air conditioning, partly due to a power outage in the village. However, Finca Escondida offers an excellent solution for this.

This is a very good place to stay. The first thing I would like to note is the friendliness of all the people who work there, excellent service. The facilities are very good and very tidy, there are times when you really don't want to move from there. It has great views and is located on the seafront. On the other hand, 10 out of 10 to the cocktails and their promotion!!
The only problem, which is more of a recommendation, I think the food could be improved, the dishes have a lot of potential. I feel that this is a weak point, they lack flavor and preparation. :)

The hotel is wonderful, with attention to the smallest detail, with a wonderful pool. However, I did not expect the sea to be so rough, in this area of the Colombian coast, the sea is actually open, so it is ideal for surfing, but not for relaxing swimming. But the whole setting of the hotel and the surrounding area is wonderful and worth it to visit Palomino.. have a margarita on the beach at sunset, eat at one of the bars on the 6th, dance on the beach, enjoy the wildlife..
The rooms were a bit damp and unfortunately my mobile phone was stolen on the last day of my holiday, my mistake is that I forgot it in the pool or outside the room for about 15 minutes but it was enough to force me to steal it. Unfortunately the pool camera didn't work and therefore we couldn't check if someone and who stole it, even the resolution of the cameras was very low so you couldn't see the picture well. However, the staff was willing to help me find it and watch video from the cameras. I recommend to always be careful even in a touristic environment like this hotel.

The attention is very good, we could be in the pool and jacuzzi until late, the green areas are very beautiful, getting there is a bit difficult because the road gets very ugly during the rainy season.

A very beautiful place
Beautiful place by the sea and very tasty food. Phenomenal pool and perfect for relaxing. Great service, they helped with everything you need.
The only thing that could be improved would be with regards to the rooms if it is understood that this is a very humid area, but there was a lot of humidity inside the room and there was no hot water in the shower. The floor of the room was quite covered with sand, but this is also understandable for the area in front of the beach.

It has a very nice small pool and internal garden. The staff is attentive and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good.
In February 2022 the sea rose and the waves were a few meters away from the restaurant. A strong wind was blowing, which made it inconvenient to eat. Service can be slow (ordered drinks and they were brought over an hour).

The breakfasts are delicious, the place is beautiful, the pool and the room are the same as in the photo or even better. We liked everything, the staff is very friendly.
At night, we went out into the city, and when we returned to the hostel, the door was closed and we could hardly enter. It would be nice if they put a bell or someone in charge of the door at night.

On the other hand, in other rooms, in theory, a lower rank, they are. shower is another matter.,… a little more thread comes out. I encourage women with lots of hair who want to wash it. Finally, although I don't know about the hotel, access is difficult... this is due to the fact that the streets of the city are not paved, but it also makes it more authentic. 😊

They didn't respect me, ingenious benefit
The pool is large and facing the sea. The bar/restaurant is very pleasant at night as it is almost on the beach. All staff are very friendly.
In Booking, being a Level 3 Genius, I was promised a free room upgrade (to a room with a balcony). Upon arrival, they told me that my room had already been given to someone else, and they gave me a simple one (although they sold me something better). The truth is that it's not fair that I got this advantage and the hotel didn't want to respect it. It is also mentioned that some of the rooms have a sea view, which is not true, they are a bit far away and cover the vegetation. The jacuzzi water would be nice if it was heated. And to get there we had some problems at night as it's down to the beach and the tide is high so you have to get there through the back street which is very dark and lonely and confusing.

This is probably the best place to eat in Palomino, everything is very tasty and at good prices. The location is excellent and the facilities are very convenient. Good swimming pool.
The service in the restaurant is very slow and the waiters, although very friendly and with good intentions, are a little confused and delayed with orders.

Yes, everything was fine, but if I returned to Palomino, I would look for another hostel with a pool in the center.
Location, pool, amenities, breakfast included. The complex is really beautiful and the individual rooms look great from real life in the jungle.
The mattresses are very uncomfortable, the hostel is a little away from the village, at night there are only dark paths. The breakfast is pretty average and was ok. The staff were friendly but partly inflexible, no one can speak English and the restaurant/bar closes at 9pm after which you have to walk into the village because there is nothing far and wide. The water dispenser must be open to the public and must not be hidden behind the bar. What you need to know is that there is almost no beach, the sea breaks all the walls of the restaurants, swimming is dangerous, the hostel, of course, cannot do anything about it, but you should know this.

Little paradise with spots!
The facility is located in a great location right on the beach. The whole outdoor area is beautiful and you feel very comfortable. The food (breakfast and dinner) is very good. We had a double room with a balcony on the ground floor. This means that everything is very rustic, made of wood and open. But it had charm, including a hammock on the balcony.
What we didn't like was that the water was always turned off around 10pm. Also, due to the very open architectural style, we unfortunately had a few sub-tenants: mice that kept us awake for the first few nights. Important!! Never store food in the room, even wrapped cookies. It attracts mice.

Paradise beach breeze and the sea!
We liked everything, very attentive and friendly staff, helpful and always attentive to our needs. Divine room, super comfortable, spacious, tidy, the hotel is heaven, fabulous, beautiful, spectacular pool and amazing jacuzzi, the beach is 5 minutes walk and you can find a divine beach for swimming... delicious food very exquisite and lovely beach restaurant, unforgettable experience.
My only suggestion would be to have options for the pool like empanadas for a snack, or for lighter dinners like a sanduchito. Perhaps expand the letter a bit in this regard.

I thought that on the first line I could go to the sea or be on the beach but it doesn't have a beach and the sea hits very hard so there is no point in being near the sea when you can't go there. The place is good, the food is very tasty, but not crowded my expectations.

SUPER COMFORTABLE
Very clean rooms, very attentive and cordial staff always with good abilities! The breakfasts could have been more varied.
I found the food and drink prices a bit pricey considering the hostel is in the same city, they could be more affordable and would be the perfect place to enjoy an instance.

The service is excellent, the rooms are very clean and in very good condition, the breakfast is very rich and balanced.

Pleasant impression
The place is very beautiful, overlooking the sea, the pool is very nice and the staff is very attentive, friendly and dedicated to their work.
The room I booked said it had a sea view but the only view was of the car park.

Watch the sunsets from the restaurant... Enjoy the spectacular pool The attention of all the staff is great... Lovely place... I'll be back to treat myself to pizza... And the new murals...
