Quiet and sweet getaway from Beijing
Best of all was the hospitality and care for the common areas. Also cleaning the room. Difficult to find this place, but then very close to the train and the Great Wall of China.
The breakfast could be better.

The location is very good, very close to the Badaling Great Wall and the Safari Park, just over a kilometer away. Recommended for travelers and families.
In 2014, I took the old and the young to stay once. At that time, I went to climb the Badaling Great Wall early the next morning to avoid the flow of people. This stay, I feel the same as before. A unique folk inn, the experience of staying is more down-to-earth than that of a hotel. The inn can provide everything needed for travel: band-aids, freshly ground coffee, tea and tea sets, etc. The bed was very comfortable to sleep on and relieved of fatigue. From the innkeeper, you can also get valuable advice on the surrounding attractions. The reason why advice is valuable is that it can save time, energy and money to maximize the arrangement. Breakfast is simple, but it can meet basic needs. I chatted with the boss at breakfast and learned that he drove an hour and a half over at 4 o'clock in the morning to send several tenants to T3 terminal to catch an international flight. The taxi that was originally booked did not answer the phone in the morning, so the tenants were released, and the boss went to the battle by himself to ensure that the tenants boarded the plane smoothly. Praise the innkeeper for his humanity and sense of responsibility.
If a small plate of fruit can be added to the breakfast, the combination will be more reasonable.

Slightly different hotel room
Anyone who wants to spend the night in a typical traditional Beijing house should choose this house. Even if the courtyard is laid out, which is not original, the overall impression is poor. The owner and staff are very friendly.
One point may be worth mentioning, but it is subjective for one person and does not bother another. When other guests have breakfast and lively conversation in the courtyard, it is a little noisy.

Disappointing
Location close to the Great Wall of China. Staff were friendly Chinese food was delicious
Trucks drove past our room all night. Trains also continue to run and hum at night. We were awake and winked. The shower did not work very well The immediate location was quite Poor for a dirty week and parking. I really do not recommend this hotel. The beds were rock hard.
