A short stay in Beijing downtown.
The friendly staff and the traditional & old fashioned atmosphere.
Unfortunately, it was a bit too loud when you talk in the inner courtyard.

High cost performance, will consider staying again next time
Excellent geographical location, quiet courtyard environment, warm hospitality...comfortable and flavorful Beijing accommodation experience
It may be more convenient if there are chairs in the room, etc.

very very good
Same as the name! Feels like home, stayed for three nights, very happy, the inn uncle is so warm and thoughtful! It is very comfortable to stay in the big yard and the room, and you can experience the Hutong culture when you go out, and it is very close to Houhai and Xidan!

They only speak Chinese !!!
The decoration is very neat and well placed.
The owners do not speak English so any attempt to understand with them is a terrible effort ....

Very pleasant, calm and authentic atmosphere. Friendly, helpful host. Good location close to metro and main attractions. A convenient place to stay for travelers of any category. This hotel is the right place for anyone who wants to experience the spirit of traditional China.

Good
The Hutong in which it is located is very beautiful and is very close to the Houhai Lakes. The place itself is very beautiful. The owners of the hotel are very friendly and kind, they invited us to have dinner with them and offered to try many traditional food and drinks.
The beds were very hard as in all of China.

The evening receptionist was very friendly. The atmosphere of the accommodation is very familiar. The location is great, in a very busy area and very close to the metro station.
The triple room we were given was very small.

Good
The location was very good as there were many different eateries around the corner! Ping'an Li Subway Station is also less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The owner was also very friendly and helpful whenever possible, unfortunately they have limited English which is not a big problem for us yet.
The room was smaller than expected as all the corners of the room were not visible in the photographs on the internet. There was also no hair dryer, which in itself is not a problem in hot weather, but a pity. Towels and urns were not changed either.

The hotel is located on the traditional hutong street, and the hotel itself is a hutong. The rooms overlook a beautifully decorated courtyard, and there is even a library with a couple of books in English!
Difficulties in communication, as managers do not speak English, and simultaneous translation in applications for mobile phones is not always effective.

The environment is not bad, near the Huguo Temple, it is a bit cold to go in winter
the bed is a bit hard
