A wonderful place to visit
Hacienda Los Andes is beautiful, both the facilities and the surroundings are beautiful. The attention was excellent, the staff was very friendly and they took care that everything was very well. The restaurant food was very good and the portions were good. The breakfast was very good, I loved the country bread. The environment was paradisiacal, with very nice trails to walk and access to the Hurtado River. The night for me was the best of all, the sky was impressive, you could see the Milky Way and the Magellanic Clouds with the naked eye and I was able to take many astrophotographs.

Very nice and relaxing place
Great relaxing spot- like a green sprawling oasis in the Andes. Warm people, quiet room with comfortable beds and large bathroom. Very good dinner (menu) and (rather) simple but good breakfast. There are interesting options (star tour in its own observatory) and rides on great and well-groomed horses. We felt very comfortable.

The perfect place to stay!
An incredibly beautiful hacienda, with a very nice operator. Very relaxing and super helpful. The beds were very comfortable and hot showers available. In addition, booking stargazing was easy and the experience was very good. A clear recommendation!

Relaxation and total shutdown!!
Very warm place, perfect for turning off, internet service very poor (which helps to turn off), very loving owner, normal breakfast good but not fantastic.
I did not like anything, I would add something else, like outdoor hot tubs...

It's a wonderful experience. Absolute peace, contact with nature, the atmosphere of a hacienda, its tranquility and warmth of being there. Impeccable, spacious room, very comfortable bed, excellent linens, I can say that staying here is amazing. Thanks to Don Luis, who shines with his attention and his dishes, delights the taste and shows dedication in cooking. Also for Ms. Macarena who took care of every detail and enjoyed her attention and Ms. Patricia who, despite the fact that I did not have the pleasure of getting to know her, was attentive before arrival so that everything was in order. An option that can not be missed, and repeat completely.

This is a place away from the city and the crowds, completely surrounded by nature. The hotel is very nice if you want to get away from the noise and technology. 1. The restaurant has board games (several options) as well as astronomy books and tourist spots in the area. 2. They have electricity via solar panels (if you want to take a shower, you must notify them so they can turn on the water packs). 3. Simple but sufficient breakfast (sourdough bread - natural fruit juice from local fruits). 4. You must notify about dinner (since there is only one menu - all the same it is only for dinner, for lunch, if there is a la carte menu), therefore, if there is a vegetarian or vegan, notify them so that they are food 😅 5. В there are no TVs in the rooms, so it makes you talk to each other ☺️ and add entertainment scenes. 6. There are several places for trekking (they are indicated by signs and have several options). 7. You can go horseback riding (announced the day before because the horses are ready to go at 10am). 8. You can go to the observatory and see the stars at night (notification of this is announced in the morning - at breakfast) so that the person performing this action indicates what the weather is now, and whether it is possible to take a walk that day.
There is no form of direct contact with the hotel manager, often you need to look for her or go to the kitchen to find her and make a request. They must advise on arrival that a warning must be given to have hot water, so don't be surprised when you are in the shower getting ready to take a bath and you have to do it with ice cold water.

A place to disconnect and relax
This is a great place to disconnect and relax. While in Hacienda, there is practically no need to go outside the enclosure to do anything, on the days we were there we did 2 hiking trails and an astronomical tour where we could use the telescope that is in the observatory, which is in the same observatory. farm. There are several approaches to the river, which can be reached in a more or less short walk (about 15 minutes). The garden is very beautiful and green with sun loungers where you can read and relax. The food in the restaurant was very good and plentiful (very good pisco sour!). And above all, Patricia and the rest of the staff showed us great attention and location. We fully intend to return!
On the first day there was a problem with the temperature of the water in the shower, but as soon as we reported it, measures were taken to fix it. Other aspects that were not a problem for us, but which those planning to travel should take into account, is that the Wi-Fi does not reach all points of the farm or all rooms, and in my case, I did not receive a phone signal. ... However, there is sufficient Wi-Fi signal in public areas to perform basic procedures that may be required (receiving and replying to messages, checking emails, processing permissions, etc.)

The place requires investment, there were very small pillows on the king bed, there was not even a second pillow, the sheets were too small for the bed, they came off. The toilet was not very tidy, it shows that they lack staff and are renovating themselves, but the price is still comparatively very high for what it has to offer, even for this area. At lunchtime, the menu is also very little varied, only a little more worries for dinner.

Nice stay
The best thing for us was a horse ride around the farm, swimming in the river in a paradise and contemplating the moon in baked goods. Hacienda is a cozy and comfortable place. Mrs. Patricia gives you very close personal attention. The evening chef cooks great.
This can improve room cleanliness and service details, as well as provide additional information on what to do on site when you arrive.

The location of the hacienda is fantastic and it will take you a few (expensive) days. In any case, you MUST go horseback riding (3 hours is enough) in the mountains. Be sure to choose your arrival or departure via Antakari - a beautiful mountain road - take your time, get out and enjoy
Unfortunately, Hacienda does not offer any other (pleasant) service that you would expect at this price.

The object is thought out with love. You feel very comfortable. Hacienda is suitable for those looking for peace and quiet, as well as for guests who like to be in nature. There are also activities for riders and those interested in the observatory.
Unfortunately, there was not enough information. There was no guest directory written or anything like that. Important information such as the lack of warm water was also not reported. The dirt road for the last 10-20 km before the hacienda is currently asphalted. You can expect a delay of up to an hour. ATVs are better suited for this route. This information was also missing!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere and the food was excellent.
The shower water could have been warmer, but it was still ok and we have no reason not to stay here again.

A wonderful oasis with warm hospitality - a place where you can feel good
The location of this hacienda is wonderful. It is a wonderful oasis in this dry mountain world around. The weather was wonderful (sunny about 25 degrees, pretty cool at night). You can take a pleasant walk along the Rio Hurtado along the river trail or go on mountain tours. Activities such as horse riding, stargazing at the private, well-equipped observatory, jeep tours ... The staff are very friendly and accommodate any request if possible. The manager Lorena was absolutely gorgeous! She helped me report the theft in La Serena to the Hurtado police. The Carabinieri did not feel responsible, but with persistent persuasiveness they finally coped. The action lasted almost 3 hours ... I would have given up earlier. Hacienda is completely safe - the exact opposite of La Serena. The food is great too. A delicious 3-course menu is offered every evening. The prices are absolutely normal. The price / performance ratio is very good. Hacienda will remain in my warmest memories !!! I can only recommend this wonderful place - especially for solo travelers! You can communicate in German or English if you don't speak Spanish. I felt very comfortable and received many good guests.
