location
No kettle in the room
Good place for all kinds of activities
Breakfast was very average
apartment size
we booked a suite with a sea view, but got a regular apartment with a blank wall view. after an hour and a half discussion, it was the only option or to leave. There was no hot water for the shower and there was almost no light in the apartment. the refrigerator broke down, did not cool and leaked for 2 weeks and they tried to glue the rubber bands with silicone sealant. It failed. we had to go to another hotel because our breakfast was not that good. everything was very dated and was broken or leaking. The beds were very bad. Wifi was not there. There were almost no cooking pots and almost no utensils. The gas stove was very dangerous to light. we ourselves had to buy a kettle and crockery and cutlery. The toilet seat was wooden, and the pieces had been torn out and painted, and the pieces hit the buttocks. Conclusion: This residential complex needs a complete renovation and can no longer be rented out in this condition.
About 50 meters from the beach, 100 meters from the city center and always with fantasy characters from towels. The housing itself is still expanding, when the expansion is completed it will definitely be really good. The people are very nice and helpful and the place is also very quiet but you can still get anywhere quickly.
Unfortunately the fuse for the ceiling light was blowing all the time and the lines are probably a bit older, otherwise the WiFi only works outside - but these are all high level complaints.
Convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, large room, mosquito nets on the windows.
Unfortunately, we only had cold water in the shower - as we were only there for one night, we didn't say anything. They would definitely fix it quickly. Sometimes the lights go out in the bathroom...
Everything in Sal Rei is within walking distance.
The amenities are spartan. The hotel is getting old
To say something positive, the room was cleaned every day and the work was noticeable.
It is clear that the hotel had its glory days, but such a story was not so long ago. The staff are poorly qualified for the job despite trying to be empathetic. They wanted to know all our schedules in advance and asked very personal questions. My colleague and I were the only people in the hotel. The common areas are a little bit "thrown away" and full of dirt (this is not such a small hotel, and I believe it is expensive to keep everything clean during the absence of customers and during a pandemic ...) Everything, absolutely everything in the hotel urgently needs repair and replacement; From doorknob, sink, fan, bedding and bath accessories ... everything is pretty old and old. There are questions that need to be clearly stated in the booking announcement: The hotel staff wanted to keep our passports, which seems completely absurd, I have never seen this behavior in a hotel; payment is made in advance (card, euro or escudo, no dollar) Breakfast (paid separately) is not prepared in the hotel, but in a nearby restaurant. They sent us to a restaurant and, upon arriving there, knew nothing about our breakfast. Returning to the hotel and explaining everything, we were sent to another restaurant. For the price you pay, it's not worth it.
Maybe a little more variety for breakfast?
Situation
Sound system, we got the impression that we are in love with the chefs in the room. Leaky shower Cockroaches in shower and bedroom
Best beach location! Great that we were able to spontaneously extend our stay over and over again
The breakfast was adequate and tasty. The hotel is located halfway between the beach and the town / harbor. The place for breakfast is the restaurant in the evenings. Very quiet environment with no restaurant.
Warm water came in very slowly. Toilet flush was very weak.
The hotel is close to the beach. Close to the bank, center and cafe. Friendly staff at the reception. Well equipped kitchen. There are dishes, stove, microwave. Cleaning every day.
Meager breakfasts, which were in no hurry to replenish. The overhead light did not work in our room. The room for 3 beds is located in the corridor without windows near the toilet and bedroom.
The location is great, there is a nice quiet beach just around the corner and if you want to get away there are different types of beaches but they all deserve a lot. The center is 4 steps away. What's not said is that the whole road is in full swing,
There is a consideration that costs will be added to the price and check if there is really breakfast if you usually ask for it, The first room lacked a little, a blind bathroom and a very noisy fan, the shower temperature was not regulated even after half an hour, and the bidet was leaking water, on the second day I decided to inform the staff about it and they were kind enough to change my room. Breakfast (paid separately), if you want something more than what you are offered, try asking
Nothing
Everything
reception is helpful. The location is good, very close to the sea and the center.
The bedroom is old, the double bed is two single beds pushed together. There is no TV or Wi-Fi. The breakfast is rather weak. For the price it costs in a hotel, it should be better. They do not provide receipts or hotel stamped receipts, only general receipts.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom maisonette for 4 people in a residence and had a great time. The spaces in the room are large, the kitchen is spacious, even if we only used it for aperitifs or snacks in the afternoon when we returned from the beach. The location is perfect as you can reach Estoril Beach in 2 minutes on foot and Sal Rey in 5 minutes. The staff are kind and very helpful and helped us with various needs (scooter rental, money exchange, sim cards, etc.). The breakfast was quite varied and this hotel has one of the best restaurants in the area.
good location close to the center and the beach
The hotel manager, Mr. Carlo, rude and unavailable - booked an apartment for two people and they assigned a room with no minibar and no TV, and the website and your confirmation states that all rooms are equipped with minibars. and the tv - bathroom sink not working - cockroaches and other insects in the room - paid too much because of the poor quality of the hotel also because they say the booking suggestions are wrong and so they charge higher prices locally - these misunderstandings ruined part of the stay
great location great breakfast
WiFi only at the reception
The location of the hotel is excellent, just a few steps from the Estoril beach. Ideal for long walks, sports and swimming in the magnificent Sal Rey Sea.
Quiet and pleasant staff. Good breakfasts
Old-fashioned room. Torn curtains. Lack of service, aging hotel
The staff was service minded and the restaurant exceeded expectations. The hotel was close to the beach with great restaurants with sunbeds.
There was Wi-fi in the hotel, but it only worked at the reception. Which became a natural connection ;)
Cleanliness is a place
Price-performance ratio is too high
Close to the beach, beautiful typical place, spacious room, very friendly staff. Close to city center opportunity to eat here
The room is not very bright and a rudimentary bathroom
breakfast good in the rainy season (June - September), I recommend packing a repellant in your suitcase, and even the one in the drawer - the mosquito nets in the windows are completely leaky, the lady cleaned the rooms every day :)
the receptionist's attitude upon arrival when I announced that I would be paying for my stay by card - he made excuses that it was not possible, then that I would have to pay an extra fee - which I was aware of.
Not a bad location, well-kept hotel, in the garden all the time, planting something, watered.
