Advice do not book here!!
the bathroom has been renovated
It was very dirty, hair in the bed and bathroom. The sheets and towels were not clean. The mattress was hard as a stone. Lots of noise outside.

Affordable and comfortable
There are several hotels at Haines Junction and we have tried 3-4 over the years and this was probably the most affordable and still clean and good.
Tried to return key and check out but only got a nasty Chinese word in response.

Dirty, noisy, uncomfortable, dirty!

The hallway and bedroom were terribly dirty (all dust, hair / animal hair on the sheets, on the floor ...) and the bathroom was poor (shower and floor cleanliness). The bed is concrete, as uncomfortable as possible. Rooms directly above the bar = noisy until 2am. Therefore, it is not an ideal place to relax and sleep well. Everything is dilapidated and dirty.

Perfect
We were prepared for a lot based on the comments and an overall rating of 5.7. When you get to the motel, there is no reception. You must go to the bar. It seemed a little strange to us, but then we were pleasantly surprised that everything was in order. There are probably different types of rooms. We stopped at a new one and are definitely not to blame for anything. It was spacious and the bathroom was clean.

A very good starting point for many hiking trails.
Dust rolls wander the floor of the room. Loud party until 2 am. in the morning. Dirty food and a cook with dirty hands.

Very poor
I definitely do not recommend this place to stay .... I would rather camp in a national park !! The booked rooms did not match what we received in the end. The hotel is poorly maintained and dirty. Service not available! Very noisy at night due to drunken bar patrons, the rooms smell of smoke (especially in the same building as the reception and restaurant).
