Very good accommodation!
- The localisation - The well-restored historic building - The friendliness and availability of staff - Homemade breakfast - The restaurant of the hotel very pleasant and very good
- The unequal quality between certain rooms - Some small damage (parquet varnish in the bedrooms, interior plaster, etc.)

good clean hotel
reception and helpfulness in finding a restaurant. , nice authentic hotel. small bathroom but hot water. was a good hotel for an overnight stay. neat breakfast.
floor in front of the shower entrance sagged. bit dangerous. everything else fine.

The breakfast was very good. The rooms were very clean and the location was great.
Rooms facing the street are very noisy due to traffic and windows without muffling.

The location and the fact that this is a renovated house make the stay more interesting.
Strong musty odor. The breakfast to be picked up (in the COVID account) was cold and not accompanied by all the requests from the list.

Large and bright room. Great location.
The pool can only be used after cleaning. While I was lucky it was ready to use it was not advised at the time of booking. There was no bread for breakfast. According to the head of the cafe, the bread has not yet arrived (and it was already 8:00!)

Laundry service, the guest must take the clothes to the reception, they do not take them off in the room. Zero privacy!

Bucolic and cozy hotel (journey to the past)
The hotel is historic. However, the old structure has been adapted and modernized. All rooms are very well equipped. Breakfast is ready. The view from the room is amazing too! located opposite the parish church of St. Barbara!
The misteira (hot mix maker) was broken on the last day of stay and I asked where it works, it was rude. otherwise the hosting was quiet.

Charming hotel very well located.
Very nice, comfortable. Great shower, air conditioning and breakfast.
Only a few channels were open on TV. The basic pay TV plan is improving significantly.

Perfect
Old renovated hotel. Huge doors and windows give this place a special charm. The view of the Matrice de Santo António and the garden is very beautiful. The central heated shower is excellent.
The coffee could be better and someone to help with the bags would be great too.

Exceptional
The staff are very helpful. The quick break is very good.
I didn’t like the fact that I didn’t have the opportunity to check in in a few minutes (the hotel charges an absurd fee - almost one day). We arrived tired after 9 hours of travel and had to wait for registration. I also found it odd to pay for the booking at check-in.
