We loved the surroundings of the inn, it is set with a lot of nature and lives up to its name, they have a very nice three-level outdoor dining room, the breakfast is very varied since it is free fork, good quality products what I liked the most taste was the last coffee. I loved that my room had a terrace with a hammock where you could see a beautiful view. I went with my children and they spent time in the pool. I 100% recommend this inn, since the disposition of its workers is excellent, they make you feel at home, and they also guide you in any questions you may have. Valeria helped us by managing the tours and the transfer to return to Rio de Janeiro. The inn is very close to the main avenue from there we could walk to the beaches.

Pousada Afrika, the best option in Buzios
Clean rooms, very helpful and cordial staff, delicious breakfast, everything is close, in short, I highly recommend this accommodation. I was very pleased.

comfortable and calm
I love all. Especially the breakfast which was always on time, varied and very rich considering we were the only two people in the hotel and in low season. Since there were no people, we were put in a better room than the one we asked for. The staff is always very attentive and friendly. As soon as we arrived they gave us a map and showed us everything we could visit in Buzios. The location is perfect for visiting any beach. Close to city center and bus stops. Truly the best holiday ever.
I didn't like that I didn't stay more days hahaha

Incredible staff, friendly, with a great disposition, they helped us with any care. Everything is immaculate, perfect cleanliness. The room was comfortable and spacious. The facilities are well kept. The breakfast was good.
Wifi signal in the room was poor. I had to go to public areas to be able to connect. Access to the pousada is somewhat difficult.

I love going to this hotel. I have always been very happy there
This is the second time I have chosen it. I like it because it has charm, style, tranquility, vegetation flooding the hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast is very rich! Location close to everything! very friendly people
The bathrooms are huge and comfortable, they just need a little renovation to improve. It is located on a hill, I like it, but it is not suitable for people with disabilities.

There are many plants, trees in the room, convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cats walk freely in the feed room, I don’t think it’s very convenient. There were a lot of cars, so the park was disorganized. To get out, we had to call people. Very limited TV channel. I was with children and I don't have a channel with good cartoons or films. If TV was smart, I would use my subscriptions to watch.

Convenient location, everything is close by. Very helpful and friendly staff. Large and comfortable rooms. Very nice bed. Breakfast well served is delicious. The common areas are beautiful and the hotel is very green.
Bathrooms would be nice to redo (mirrors, tiles, etc.). On the last day there was a problem that the shower water was not heating properly, but since we left very early there was no one at the hotel to help us.

I loved the location and the staff. They are all very helpful and polite. Breakfast is simple but delicious. The staff at the hotel made us very comfortable.
The hostel is in need of renovation. The furniture is older, and the salty air does not look good in the mirror and metal parts of the bathroom. The entrance to the tavern has a strong smell and is a little unpleasant, maybe due to the fact that there is a large dog sitting there.

Quiet, welcoming, in touch with nature. Excellent breakfast. All the staff are very kind and helpful. Clean. You can walk to the main points (Orla Bardo, Rua das Pedras, some beaches).

I found all the staff to be friendly and very helpful! Super positive point! We enjoyed the interaction with our dogs, who were well received and welcomed.
We upgraded the room, but there was only one sheet in the box, which kept the bathroom wet. Definitely staying in another room without this shower problem I would go back !!

The location, cleanliness and location close to the center and some of the beaches are the best.
The breakfast schedule starts very late as it is from 8.30 am to 10.30 am. But it makes it difficult for you to have breakfast when you need to go on an excursion, or it prevents you from leaving earlier than you want. I recommend starting breakfast at 7:30. In addition, the variety of breakfasts should be expanded.

Pousada Afrika: Cozy as my own home
Breakfast was decent, had all sweet breads and Brazilian pastries plus juice, coffee and all the usual breakfast drinks. The central location was great and the pool was very good. Passenger buses passed constantly, which was very handy. The receptionists were friendly and patient and we also had a Netflix service.
However, I wish there were more variety of snacks for breakfast: only ham, cheese and butter. Sometimes Wi-Fi gets cut off for no apparent reason, and it was a little annoying if you wanted to use movie services over the Internet.

Lack of quality customer service
The staff (very kind and friendly people) and the location (near the center and a beautiful lagoon). When we asked to change a bed, they did it without problems and they improved our breakfast (they added nuts, yogurt and lactose-free milk).
Very unsafe place for minors and the elderly, some stairs and descents do not have guardrails. Example, one rainy day I slipped on the stairs and it almost turned into a fatal accident. After what happened, they added security tape to the floor. They do not have a grill for roasts, the kitchen does not have the basic implements (eg kettle, pots, etc). The music equipment in the dining room is very old and does not work properly. They lack a television with netflix in the common spaces. Our room did not have a closet to leave the clothes, the 23 days with the clothes in the suitcases. The bathroom door does not have a lock and it makes too much noise to close and open it, it lacked maintenance. The restaurant does not meet any expectations, horribly poorly implemented!

In our opinion, the pool is not really inviting - but definitely irrelevant given the large number of beautiful beaches!

Very good deal, acceptable service
The attention of the girls who work at the front desk are always very friendly ... from the time before the trip I contacted myself to arrange airport transfers to the end of our instance. Always with the best dispositions and the best ways.
Breakfast is very small for a very touristy place, the place where it is served is quite small. In some cases, there was a strange musty smell in the room.

I loved the mystery of this place surrounded by vegetation and the way it was surrounded by details related to Africa.
The breakfast schedule should be earlier, I suggest starting at 7:30 am, because the excursions are from the weekend at 8 am.

The hotel is very pleasant, quiet atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, rooms are comfortable and clean, the location is excellent.
Check out is at noon, after that you can't leave your bags or use the hotel facilities like many other hotels. If you have a bus that leaves after noon, you should look at where you can take time for your bags or pay for a late check-out from the hotel.
