Modern house in a prime location
Great location in Mechelen

friendly help, good food and relaxed conclusion.
We were upgraded to a larger room that was on the market side. There was a warning of any possible night noise. That was also the case until 3 am. The room was spacious and very neat. We had dinner at the hotel in the evening and it was excellent! The morning breakfast was fresh, varied and nicely presented.
I didn't think the night noise would be so audible. In the wellness area, the Turkish sauna was not working. For the rest it was wonderful to stay there. It was a bit strange to have to go back to the reception in your bathrobe to be escorted to the Wellness. That walk ran next to the breakfast room and was a bit strange to pass there.

Relaxing and very enjoyable.
Very well maintained hotel. Friendly service. Extra air conditioning in the room is definitely a plus.
The only downside after dinner when we went back to the room were the fresh towels for the next hotel guests at the door. But everything else is great!

Excellent stay
Friendly staff, nice breakfast, close to everything in Mechelen so no need for a car. Wellness that is not too expensive if you stay there.
Too bad and strange feeling that the wellness was mixed (with and without swimwear). This was not mentioned on the site or on booking.com. Perhaps this is how people are aware of this? In the end we did not use it even though it was included in our package, a pity.

Location top. It is a pity that the accompanying terrace is not part of the hotel and so as a hotel guest you could not simply have a place outside to enjoy. You then had to sit on the terrace of the restaurant and it was not always okay there. Breakfast good but a bit sober, I just expected that little bit more
No bottle of water during the wellness that is ready. You can order, yes, but some fresh that is ready is just a bit more pleasant. Also no possibility to go outside during the wellness.

Great hotel for a city trip to Mechelen.
Beautiful hotel in an old fish smoker and cigar factory, stylishly decorated. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Perfect location, right in the center. Good food and nice drinks at a nearby restaurant. Good beds.

Very good choice for visiting Mechelen
Great location for visiting the old town of Mechelen. Very good varied breakfast with sweet and savory and fresh fruits. Good multilingual welcome. Very quiet room (windows to the inner courtyard).
Error in room allocation: we requested two single beds and we had a room with a double bed. Luckily this could be changed immediately upon arrival. The use of the pool should be included in the already high price of all rooms.

Enjoy your stay in a beautiful building with a good location
We stayed in a cozy room and were pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness. Nice spacious room with large bathroom. There was a Maanrock festival going on when we stayed there, but we didn't hear anything about it in our room. The person is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also provided and nothing was missing. It's great to see that they work with local products. Hotel Vé is a good starting point for exploring the city.
The only downside to the room was that there were clipped nails on the carpet next to the bed from a previous guest. We also reported this on the site through a guest survey.

It was also nice to be in Mechelen!
Since breakfast cost 20 euros per person, we ate half of it elsewhere. Ridiculously expensive!
The bedroom windows wouldn't open which made me claustrophobic at night.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, friendly staff, nice and spacious room with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The shower was also very good! (+ The drinks on the terrace in front of the hotel were also very well taken care of!)
The maids were already cleaning the rooms on our floor at 8am which is normal and we understand of course. It was only a little loud... That was the only "minus".

A must if you are planning a weekend in Mechelen. The value for money is definitely worth the money.
The hotel is located on the Wismarkt. Near underground garage (but expensive). So, the location is right in the center of Mechelen. Everything is within walking distance. The breakfast was extensive and something for everyone. Spacious rooms with the necessary comfort. Friendly staff.

the beds are moved apart and at breakfast things were lying on them. I think this shouldn't be possible. No matter what time you have breakfast, everyone is entitled to a full breakfast.

A very charming hotel in a very good location.
The location is fantastic, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Also a table with chairs in the rooms is very useful. Wellness is also very good.
If it's noisy in the next room, you can hear it well.

The best hotel for a weekend getaway!
Looks cozy, nice, comfortable and beautiful. A cozy terrace in front of the door, it couldn't be better.
The windows in our room could not be opened which took some getting used to, the AC on the other hand works great without annoying noise.

The hotel is in the entertainment district, great location. There was little trouble with the noise, a little more noise on Ascension Day. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Featured...
Upon arrival on May 25, we could see the "sewer?" smell. Unpleasant, but in the following days this smell disappeared. It was too hot in the shower, we didn't settle down. The next day it was ok without our pointing it out.

when you leave the room, all electricity is turned off, including the power to the minibar. we returned to our room after a good day in mechelen and our drinks were warm.

Room cleaning could be better and if you have such a big bathroom it's better not to shower in the tub where the shower head is hanging over the drain in the floor and which you always stand on and then the drain is closed and no water escapes. .

Had a great time at Hotel Vé (also thanks to the great weather)
The location is really great..in a cozy square in the heart of Mechelen..Breakfast was excellent. The scrambled eggs were even baked on the spot, just the way you like it. A gluten free breakfast for one of my family members wasn't a problem either. And on my birthday there, I received a very caring birthday card and congratulations from the staff.. very caring!! The lobby is very cozy with several seating areas and a "fireplace". The art on the wall also makes this building very attractive. Rooms, bathroom and beds exceed all expectations...
Unfortunately, at the entrance and at the reception there was a slight smell of sewerage regularly. Perhaps it could be masked using a creamy perfume...

Location! You go everywhere like this! The rooms were spacious and complete, good beds. Wellness is delicious! The staff is very friendly.
The only downside was the sewer smell at the front desk, it would be nice to do something about that. Fortunately, this air was not in the room.

Nice and atmospheric hotel, very well located, friendly and helpful staff, value for money is definitely ok. Spacious wellness center with 2 different saunas, Turkish bath, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Good breakfast, more than enough.
The socket in the bathroom is a bit dirty (a lot of dust, which is simply impossible to get rid of). Unfortunately. Otherwise, no negative points.

We wanted to visit the exhibition at Hof van Busleyden. Wonderful museum!
Friendly welcome! Very comfortable bed. The room was clean but could be better, there were still long hairs in some places. It was also practical to grab a bite to eat after a long day at the bistro next to the hotel. In the morning there was a nice and tasty breakfast with a lot of choice. The hotel is also very well located for exploring the city. We will definitely choose Hotel Vé next time.

Exceeded expectations.
What a lovely room with a large bed and a lovely bath and shower! It was just great. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was good too, a nice extra touch to bake an omelet instead of eating it for hours (like some other hotels). It's also really nice that we could leave our bags after check out to enjoy the city even more. The map and walking route was very good and I think we saw almost all the highlights of Mechelen.

We couldn't get the heating in the room to work. This was adequately resolved when we asked about it. However, the device did make quite a bit of noise. Turning it off at night helped me sleep.

Nice stay in a cheap hotel.
This hotel is in a great location in the city. We enjoyed a very rich breakfast buffet with salmon, fresh fruit, fried eggs, muesli, among others, ... The wellness was also an added value.
Too bad you can't open the window in the room.

very rich breakfast, great choice, very tasty. A big plus are the eggs, which are prepared by the staff. Or you can boil the egg yourself. Highly recommended. Location: super, the fish market is super cozy. Staff: nothing to complain about. Always ready if you have any questions
Maybe more shelves or something to put toiletries in the bathroom. Now you really don't have much space to put a toilet bag or something like that.

Hotel, location, breakfast. Nele the hotel manager, what a friendly girl.
Restaurant staff, we were looking for a place to eat but the waitress walked past us 3 times and didn't even say hello. Then we asked the boy if the table was free, and he asked, but also did not return. During breakfast, the staff was also a little annoyed.
