The heart of Leuven and a bit of the price too. very large room
Many defects inside the hotel room such as window that does not close, the handle was half hanging. in the bathroom socket where pieces are lying out. no kettle coffee or tea in the room. The hotel's brasserie and bar were closed so you couldn't get anything to drink.

Perfect location for visiting Leuven.
The Hotel Professor is located in the center of Leuven, so all sights, shops and restaurants can be reached in just a few steps. The offer of a garage was good, as it is otherwise difficult to park around the hotel. The included breakfast was adequate, the rooms tidy and the staff friendly and helpful.
Upon entering the reception, there was a slight smell of the toilets, which are located in the basement. Also, no one was there, I had to call to see someone. While my room was fine, my father's room had no shower screen, no fixture to hang the shower head and a bedside lamp was also broken.

Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel owner personally came to open the parking lot, which is about 100 meters from the hotel. (Hotel is in car free zone) Ideal location to explore the city. (Lots of eateries nearby!)

perfect for our stay because of a visit to uz Leuven
we had to check out early due to a hospital visit / examinations at UZ Leuven. the staff had prepared a breakfast for us that we could take with us. really very nice.
location is perfect, however at night there was a lot of nuisance (student party)

the location right in the center of leuven was fantastic. Our stay coincided with a summer party in the city.
The hotel was quite outdated with no air conditioning so the window had to be kept open to be a bit acceptable in the room, very noisy with sounds from the city (people screaming getting up and around 6:00 already wipers) in the room and almost didn't sleep all night.

The hotel is close to the center, very good. This is a small hotel, expected it to be a bit bigger. The breakfast is good, only there is not enough space) Leuven is a beautiful city with many monumental buildings and many restaurants ..... a good place. The botanical garden is really worth a visit, as is the university library.
I was busy in the city....and therefore noisy at night...until late at night. You sleep with the window open because it was already very hot (causing some noise)

Very centrally located hotel in Leuven
Location. 50m from Jude market and room size.
There is no air conditioning. The room was warm enough. Opening the windows means that (especially at night) you will be disturbed by the noise of all the revelers.

Breakfast was good, friendly people in the hotel
The TV in the room didn't work. We found that it is not for the elderly. There is no fixed shower head attached to the wall and without brackets it is difficult to get into the tub.

The location of the hotel could not be more central! The staff is SUPER friendly! Hotel parking nearby! Cocktail bar! Decent breakfast!
It is possible that there was nicotine in the room - but this is unlikely to depend on the hotel administration. Of course, if the place is very central, it may also have disadvantages: there was party noise from outside (this may be different during the week).

Functional but expensive for what it is.
Friendly welcome. Spacious room with seating area and comfortable bed. Very central location, close to the town hall, Muntstraat and Oude Markt.
The room was rather nondescript, as was the elevator which used to malfunction but eventually broke down (three floors per flight of stairs). Breakfast was limited, eggs and bacon on the buffet are cold.

The staff is super friendly. The location is right in the center and we could have easily booked another night. Good hotel and very beautiful city with many attractions.
There is a student cafe on the street next to it, and it is very noisy there, also because of the people.

had a good night's sleep in the heart of Leuven, near the university building
The place seems very noisy during student season but it was exam time and also corona which means the bars are not open at night. Now slept well in an unexpectedly large room, at least for the price. It's just furnished a bit old fashioned but clean and good beds. Slept wonderfully.
It was currently not possible to have breakfast even though it was stated in the room information. This is not a problem because there are many options in the area

The location is really great, good breakfast and a really lovely bed.
- The contact person at the restaurant does not speak English or Dutch. So there really is no connection. I really don't think I can - The room is very old, especially the bathroom (really needs replacing. Very big room!

Centrally located, great stay and tasty breakfast, not suitable for light sleepers
Location right in the center, 3 minutes from the university. Great breakfast buffet (decoration somewhat improvised but the selection was excellent). Good size room, bathroom and amenities.
The location in the center of the entertainment center was not a problem for us, but those who are light sleepers will not close their eyes here. Even on weekday evenings, the noise continues until late at night. The bathroom needs cosmetic repairs (damage to the mirror cabinet and socket).

Centrally located with friendly staff!
Ideal in the center. Very nice staff. Got good parking advice. We had a nice bath and during our lazy evening we could have cocktails at the bar downstairs and drink it upstairs. Enjoy watching Netflix (own login). We enjoyed.
It was a bit noisy, but that's not bad in the center. Annoying only that at 07:00 Neighbor was already at the wall with a grinder. But the hotel couldn't do anything about it.

Nice staff in the best location!
Good breakfast, very friendly staff. The location is excellent.
Noise on the street, happens next to the bars, so a lot of noise from singing people. Another disadvantage is that you can’t hang the shower head anywhere, and you have to hold it yourself.

The location was great, close to the center. It was also nice that you could have a drink in the evening before bed.
What the hotel can't do anything about is the "buzz" of the nightlife and early morning supplies from nearby restaurants. But if you manage it, you will have a great holiday.

The location is perfect. Very close to the old and big market. The staff is very friendly.
The room is very old and not very clean. The refrigerator was even very dirty and there was still food from previous guests in it. A new shower head is also not a luxury.

Friendly staff and attention to you. The breakfast was well taken care of. Always clean towels nice! Cozy hotel and good looks.
We found the bath inconvenient for older people to get in and out, were afraid of slipping, we would have found the shower more enjoyable, otherwise everything is fine.

The location is excellent, right in the center. The price is very low 68 euros for 1 night and breakfast for 2 people. The room was very large and tidy. Easy filling and verification through booking.com booking
Lively nightlife so you need earplugs to sleep. Windows block a lot, but not everything. The breakfast was a bit basic but good for the money. Baked buns (a bit dry) and a few sweet buns. Various fillings.

EVERYTHING WAS VERY SMOOTH THE BAR WAS AMAZING DOWN AND VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF.
THE BREAKFAST WAS SOMETHING ON THE SIMPLE SIDE COULD BE BETTER. THE LOCATION WAS VERY GOOD AND THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY.
THAT THE ROOM DOES NOT HAVE A SHOWER CURTAIN, YOU CAN PUT FRUITS IN THE MORNING RECEPTION AND ALTERNATE THE CREAM. THE PROBLEM TO GET A TAXI IS A MINUS POINT IN OLDER PEOPLE WHICH IS BAD.

OK. Our expectations were justified.
The hotel has everything you would expect in this price range: neat little room, decent breakfast, good central location, but very noisy if you want to sleep with the window open. We were allowed to put our bikes in the lobby of the hotel, which was a friendly gesture from the manager.
Punctual breakfast. As "pull" cyclists, we prefer to get on the road early.

Cheap hotel. It's not luxurious but perfect for passing students!
Easy registration. The location is very central and you can get to everything on foot. During my visit there was a renovation but it didn't bother me.

Parking lot further than indicated, breakfast was supposed to be at 07:30 but was only available at 09:00. Force majeure by the Crown, but was not specified in advance. The decor of the hotel outside the room is very shabby and minimalist.

Central location and simple but really great breakfast!
Well-closing and blackout curtains in front of the window (number 9) seem to me least of all a hotel room, where the main part is sleep. The curtains in our room didn't close at all. Not to mention you still want to open a window for fresh air.

Very friendly person who spoke to us. Very decent breakfast and beautifully served at the table. Beautiful place in the very center of Leuven. The value for money was absolutely excellent.
Simple bedroom and bathroom that may need some refurbishment. But yes, we will immediately see the price, so ... it doesn’t matter.

Great, but not very practical for a business trip
The room was really big. Although the location is central and I like it, it is not for light sleepers because there is a lot of noise.
Breakfast was not delivered at 7:30 am as promised, but at 8:15 am, so it was difficult to get to work on time and the staff was obviously overwhelmed when I was there at 8:15 am waiting for my buns. I think making cocktails is her forte, but keeping the hotel up to date on that is something they can learn a thing or two from. But still I had a good time.

Very centrally located hotel, ok for the price. We might come back again.
The staff were accommodating to special needs (diabetes) and very smiling and friendly. The bed was reasonably good.
The pillows were not so good. A lot of street noise all night.
