quite unkempt

No hooks for towels in the bathroom, so you could not dry them properly. Door of bathroom could not close. Put on an extra sweater at breakfast because it was chilly. Too fresh.

The bed, too soft for my back… and we were cold in the room despite the manipulations of the air conditioning.

The bed was comfortable but a bit creaky. The lift is very small.

The lift was a bit small but as you are in the city center in a building that has been refurbished as a hotel it can be difficult to provide a bigger lift! But in general, this is just a small remark!

The bathroom and toilet are in the same room, the door to the bathroom did not close from the inside and there was a gap between them. very narrow elevator, maximum 2 pcs. no baggage...

No car parking. Lots of musical noise from the dance cafe across the street but it stopped at 1am on a Saturday.

For an early sleep, don't go while there is a carnival because you are right where the rides are. We returned home very late, we were not embarrassed.

Our room was next to the lift so we could hear the passages. There was not enough hair dryer, cotton buds ...

The attraction is open until one in the morning, but this is not the fault of the staff at all.

The hygiene under the bed could be better. Since I travel with a dog that plays with a ball, I now also look under the bed to get the ball. I would never do otherwise. It was dusty.

There is no door separating the shower from the rest of the room. Sanitized, dull design, without any personality, without any reference to the visited city.

The TV did not work due to the switch from cable to digital. We had to experience it for ourselves and were also told at check-in.

Double room... one chair. Not a single hook to hang towels (or others) in the bathroom, no cat but. There were traces of moisture on the wall under the window, but not prohibitive for living.

2 single beds/mattresses as a double bed was a little disappointing because the mattresses are tilted towards the middle. The stairwell was less pleasant due to the square cladding of the stairs and walls with tapis. It took a long time for hot water to come out of the shower.

There was no hair dryer in the room. I thought 75 euros for a small room without hair dryer is quite expensive.

No additional or indirect lighting, these are directly large spots. We could hear quite a loud noise from the next room. There is no towel rack in the bathroom (fragment), boxes with napkins. It is a pity that 2 small bottles of water in the fridge are paid!

Nothing really disappoints. Only small details like "mood lighting". No reading lamp or dimmable light. And there is no handle to close the toilet door from the inside.

There was no ventilation in the bathroom, so if you are showering it is best to leave the door open otherwise everything in the bathroom will be wet with condensation. Difficult to regulate temperature with rain shower. Hot or cold.

The only thing missing was a kettle or coffee in the room.

1/ First night of insomnia due to spontaneous switching on/off of the electrical system with electronic clicks (probably a relay) repeating several times per minute. The only solution is to get up and remove the magnetic card from the internal reader (to turn it on during class)! In absolute darkness, we could (finally) sleep. It's so hard to navigate once you wake up (and tired) in the morning. Second best night, again thanks to the "little trick" described above. However, the problem was reported to the front desk, however to no avail. 2/ Microscopic lift even for skinny people like us, causing a lot of commuting back and forth if there is luggage. 3/ Already reported by other people: Access and (on)loading by car is very uncertain at the entrance of the hotel, located on a street with heavy traffic of buses, bicycles, scooters and ... pedestrians. Overpriced car parks in Kortrijk are as much on the street (except at night and until 9:00 am = free provided the area was "reserved for residents"), just as much - and worse - in underground public car parks. In short, avoid this charming city by car: of course, prefer the train, the DeLijn bus or a scooter, or even better, stay outside rather than visit it by bike (there are beautiful cabins or B&Bs in the nearby countryside and bike paths).

A/C is a bit noisy (gurgling noise gurgles when ventilation over bed stops. Not too many TV channels.

The noise in the corridor (at night), the doors of the rooms are tightly closed, the light beam from the corridor, which passes under the door of the room, was a little disturbing. Beautifully refurbished reception and room but hallways were forgotten. The breakfast was good but sober for the price.

For those who don't use the facilities, the park hotel is a bit more expensive. Last week we stayed in different hotels or B&B. The first thing we noticed was the carpet in the room, which is a little more difficult to maintain due to hygiene. We have not seen this anywhere.

The outside windows were frankly dirty. They haven't been cleaned in a long time. You just couldn't see. There was also dust on the edge of the bed and elsewhere. The door to the bathroom and toilet was made of milky glass, which still offers a view. Small room.
