the price is higher than the quality of the stay

It is impossible to sleep on a double bed, a very spring-dependent mattress. Cleaning quality. Shampoo, gel not added even once in 5 days

Very nice hotel with a wonderful beach and staff!
The hotel has a private beach which is very convenient. You can’t put sunbeds on the shore, only on the platform, a short distance away. The coast and the bottom of the sea are very pleasant. Excellent cleaning, additionally bring a bottle of water per day per visitor. There are no family rooms as such, but there are adjoining rooms that can be used as family rooms (even more convenient, because there is still a door between them). Beach towels are provided. Excellent breakfast, I especially liked that there are fruits, because in another hotel in Baku they were not at breakfast. I really liked the service - all the staff are kind and polite, the only thing is that the restaurant does not have a menu in Russian, and the waiters do not understand it well. There was no free transfer to the city, as indicated in the brochure in the room, but a taxi to Fountain Square cost literally 4-5 manats. You can also take a bus - 125 rides near the hotel and along the promenade, from where it is not far to the center. Pretty fast internet.
There was no free shuttle, which was what we hoped for when we checked in. Little variety and high prices in the hotel restaurant.

A SHAME!!!!
After breakfast, my child and I went to sunbathe. We asked for an umbrella. The hotel manager Mammad came up and said that they would not open the umbrella because it was windy. He offered us to lie down on other sunbeds. I answered: umbrellas on other sunbeds are so small that the day before yesterday we were burned in the sun while lying on them. I said : if we can not sunbathe on the beach of the hotel . give us back the money and we will move to another hotel. Mammad agreed, motivating his actions: 《100 people will come here tomorrow》. True, I got the impression that guests come to this hotel for 1-2 nights. But Mammad ruined my positive impression of Baku and Azerbaijanis. This is Azerbaijani hospitality! The hotel is not worth that kind of money: the beach is not well maintained, there are a lot of algae on the sea, breakfasts are too expensive, the maids left tea and toiletries in the room, only after I called the reception. If you really want to stay at this hotel, I recommend booking it for 1-2 nights, and then make a decision: to stay in it or not? Anyway, there are a lot of free rooms in it .... The nearby Ramada hotel of the same price category is much better.

Particularly friendly and helpful staff, although the knowledge of English was not perfect they all tried very hard for us

We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next trip to Baku
Liked the breakfast. The staff is very friendly, there is a free transfer in the evenings to the city center, which is very convenient and economical, no need to spend money on a taxi. Very attentive director, constantly interested in how comfortable the rest is.

Good swimming pools both indoor and outdoor. Kind staff. Good rooms, although 4 stars do not correspond at all.
The restaurant does not cook badly, but the prices are high, we spent about 100-120 manats for lunch for a family, given the lack of alternative food due to the location of the hotel ... and of course the beach, is it really so difficult to mow the grass and remove algae with garbage on the shore. .. is a mystery to me. Everyone goes to the neighboring beach of another hotel to swim from where they are appropriately driven ...

A hotel for those who can independently organize their holidays in Baku
The large territory of the hotel, outdoor and indoor pools are quite clean, a very well equipped gym, sauna, you will be given a key for personal belongings from the locker room. You can easily get to the city by taxi for 5-10 manats, which is very convenient.
If you want to relax by the sea, then you should not go to Shikhov. Due to oil production in the area, the sea is dirty. This is probably why the hotel's beach is practically not equipped for swimming, all the sunbeds by the pool, and on the beach there is grass and garbage. The restaurant on site leaves a lot to be desired. We were there only once, we had to wait for a salad for two hours, after that we didn’t go there again. Room cleaning is nominally available, while your things are calmly shifted from place to place at the discretion of the cleaners. More than once paid attention that during cleaning they may forget to put water. The taxi you called is sometimes not allowed to enter the hotel, we still do not understand what this is connected with. A taxi was called from the hotel reception, but a strict security guard simply did not allow the car to enter the hotel. We did not find massage and spa services (except for the sauna) in the hotel.

Baku is a colorful and original city. The level of tourism is somewhat intrusive and the quality is not high
Sea in 1 minute walk, clean beach, free sunbeds, free shuttle to the city, friendly staff
The hotel does not correspond to 4 stars - springs stick out of the mattress, burnt out light bulbs, despite requests for 2 weeks, no one changed, breakfast at a price of 900 rubles does not correspond to this cost (eggs, vegetables, sausages, bread, cheese, cereal, toast, tea /coffee). Cleaning is a separate word / they took off their linen twice, took away towels and covered them clean a few hours after reminding at the reception.
