We wanted just such a place, where you can enjoy the view of the mountains while eating, while animals graze next to us. We took the first floor part with the huge terrace and had a great time. The pictures don't do justice to how spacious it is. The hosts are nice, and we regret that we do not speak German well enough to be able to converse with them properly. There are pets (horse, cat, bunny, dog, etc.) You can also see the castle from the net.

The house is located in a privileged location, surrounded by green meadows and mountains, an ideal place to relax. The family is wonderful. The house is very beautiful and they take great care of it. They have a farm with sheep, horses, ponies, chickens, rabbits, cats and a dog 😍 Wonderful place. Hohenwerfen Castle is visible from the house.

Space and comfort

The property is located on top of a mountain (car required) with great views and tranquility. The hosts are very nice and helpful and always ready to listen if you have any requests or need anything. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. We had some nice relaxing days. Farm animals and no through traffic are ideal for families with children. But keep in mind that due to the location on excursions, you have to travel a little by car. But we were not embarrassed - for us it was perfect.

The hosts were very pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was great too and we had a lot of snow. The climb was spectacular and snow chains were needed. We'll be back.

Large and very clean apartment, really equipped with everything you need. Didn't miss anything. After a day of hiking, the bathtub is worth its weight in gold. The location is really great. Lots of cute animals ... and the host family is incredibly friendly and straightforward. Despite the emergency, we were able to recover very well.

Nice and cozy house, exceptional view. Excellent temperature in August with pleasant coolness in the evening. Nothing is missing. The location is great for exploring Salzburg and Lake (Hallstatt) as well as the more mountainous part. The road there is a bit narrow, they are 10 meters from the main road, and if you come across a car, you should find a clearing (there are several square meters). Not very convenient, but doable. The hosts do not speak English, but we understood each other with gestures. They were very kind anyway.

The accommodation left nothing to be desired, incredibly friendly welcome and loving care during the stay, riding for children, cats, ponies, sheep, rabbits, chickens, a really beautiful farm with two very spacious, absolutely clean holiday apartments with a balcony to relax, lovely aerial view of the Tennengebirge. Many hikes, such as the first leg of the Salzburger Almenweg through the Höllntal to the Arthurhaus, start right on the doorstep, excursions around the Hohenwerfen fortress and the Eisriesenwelt. Travelers without a car can be picked up from Pfarrwerfen Station, as the shortcut from the station to the farm with suitcases is a bit tricky - just let us know in advance. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic view! We saw deer from the balcony. The castle on the mountain is also visible from the windows of the bedroom and from the side of the balcony. The apartment is larger than shown in the photographs. The kitchen has everything, even a lot of spices for cooking. The road up is already beautiful.

The equipment and cleanliness of the apartment were very good. Cookware and kitchen utensils deserve special attention in terms of quality and quantity. The location, especially the views of Hohenwerfen Castle and the Salzach Valley, are superb. The house is insulated but well signposted.

Recommended place for anyone looking for tranquility and beautiful views. Ideal starting point for ski lovers, about 15 minutes by car to the nearest slope St. Johann, 20 minutes to Flachau. Well equipped kitchen.

The apartment was huge and we felt very comfortable. The large kitchen-dining room was a dream and there was no shortage of kitchen equipment. The bedrooms had very nice beds and plenty of storage and storage space. We haven't missed anything. Just perfect.

A spacious apartment with everything you need, large clean rooms, comfortable beds. The owners of the apartment are very nice. They bought fans at our request because there was none in the apartment. Laundry can be delivered to the owner at a cost of 3 euros per machine and 3 euros for drying. You receive the laundry folded. Amazing view from the apartment.

An amazing place with a breathtaking view

A truly peaceful place, away from the hustle and bustle. Great views of the mountains and the city below. The apartment is in very good condition, clean and very well organized.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The apartment has a very large kitchen-dining room, which is equipped with everything necessary for cooking. We can absolutely recommend this apartment, but we definitely recommend having snow chains on board. It was really great for our daughter that she was allowed to ride a pony in the winter and see the animals in the stable. The sledding right in front of the door was also very enjoyable. The Werfenweng Ski Area is just 10 km away and shops are about 4 km away. Gladly again!

A winding road in the countryside reaches the house located on the farm of the pleasant family that hosted us. They are on the first floor. We got the apartment on the second floor. Huge and well-equipped with a balcony that surrounds the entire house and overlooks an amazing view. The house is well equipped, clean and tidy and very large. A kitchen that has everything. Just great fun and great value for the price.
