We have only the best memories of our week-long stay at Room55. The rooms are clean, quiet and beautifully designed. The nicely furnished and comfortable breakfast room for self-catering is brilliantly thought out. The location, just a few minutes' walk from the bus or subway, means all destinations can be reached with ease. The landlord can be reached quickly via short official channels. He is also extremely friendly and helpful. We can not only recommend Room55, we would also book it again ourselves. It was an honour.

The location is pleasant and can still be described as central. Within a 4-minute walk you can reach the Pilgramgasse subway station (U4) and from there you can easily get anywhere (sometimes with a change). If you have more time, many things can also be explored on foot. The room had almost everything you need, the beds were very comfortable and the check-in works completely without staff, you are virtually independent. The house and room doors can be opened using a previously sent code. There is also a small kitchen where you can stock up on tea and coffee and a communal fridge where you can store your things.

Received a code in advance to enter yourself. room was clean and absolutely fine, there is a nice shower. Within walking distance of the city and very close to the metro station. There is a bistro about 300 m walk away for breakfast in the morning. There is also room to bring your own breakfast. coffee and tea are available.

We thought the kitchen was great, the room layout was interesting and very nice, a window that could be opened to let fresh air in every now and then would be nice, but it's also understandable for the ground floor that it's not possible. The room is spacious, very well renovated, with adjustable air conditioning to your liking; The bathroom is also well appointed, with a large walk in shower. In my case, the room overlooked the courtyard, so it was very quiet and peaceful. The very fact of accessing the structure with the help of codes (and therefore without keys) is very convenient. Always clean linen every day. Everything is conceived and decorated with very good taste, I recommend without a doubt!

Max is very helpful, kind, this was my first experience with a private hotel booking and he was very patient in explaining many things to me, including the differences between the rules due to the pandemic. Breakfast is not included, but we do have a coffee maker and biscuits. I appreciated being able to check in as soon as the room was ready without wasting time leaving my suitcase and coming back to check in later. Staying at Room55 completely exceeded my expectations, I was very satisfied with everything. Here are a few key points: - The host: Max is very polite, he can be contacted quickly (also via whatsapp) and he finds a solution for every request (for example, I wanted to check out later, it was not possible because my room had subsequent booking, but I was allowed to secure my luggage in a pin to put another hotel room that was not occupied) - Electronic: no risk of losing the key, as all rooms can be opened with a pin, and there is also access to hotel, so you can enter without making contact with a person or using a key. - Room: I was in a single room, it had a beautiful large bed, floor to ceiling windows, it was very bright and cozy, as well as stylish, new and modern. What surprised me the most was the bathroom - a whole wall of mirrors and a shower with natural light, wow. - Blackout: Personally, I can only sleep in the dark, so I really liked the fact that you could draw blackout curtains on the windows, which made them really dark. - Ventilation: Since all rooms are on the ground floor (street/pavement level), the windows do not open. This may be of interest to those who are desperate for fresh "real" air. Personally, it didn't bother me at all, on the contrary, because 1. The air from the street wouldn't be particularly good anyway 2. It's much quieter, because the windows can be very compressed and you can actually hear a pin drop despite the street level (this is an oasis of calm, what great isolation) and 3. You also feel more secure without opening the windows, since everything is on the ground floor and it seems safer that way. >> Instead super quiet air conditioning (A/C) or heating. - Cozy living room/kitchen area with fully automatic coffee machine, tea, crockery, cutlery, glasses, microwave, etc.
