Absolutely recommended and worth repeating.
From the boss to the cleaning staff, everyone is friendly and always happy to work, very, very positive. Look after the guests very well prepared, very professional. Breakfast buffet is very varied, leaving nothing to be desired. I also think the allocation of seats and greeting by name on the second morning with so many guests is remarkable. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated (wellness, fitness, lounge area, ...). Nothing is left to chance; plant care is even carried out on Sundays.

We recommend.
Super nice team, great concept with pool and well separated kids play area and great wellness area. Also an announcement that, for example, children are not allowed in the floating room. Fits! Great large terrace with a very atmospheric light and fire installation. It is worth taking half board with a menu. Great chef, value for money. The breakfast is excellent too. Here the hotelier really lives by the idea of service.
whining at a high level. The room could be a little bigger and maybe not in the kitchen area it smells in the morning.

beautiful place, close to the water, private beach, everything within walking distance, delicious breakfasts and dinners. super friendly staff. nice to sit on the terrace in the evening. in Velden itself you can enjoy the fun. in one word fantastic. we have been there for 2 years and enjoy it.

Pleasant family vacation
Very good hotel with very good staff. Breakfasts and dinners were always very tasty and varied. The rooms were in perfect order. Mattresses are relatively hard but you get used to it. The outdoor lighting with pool and sun loungers is excellent. The wellness center is great too. We felt completely comfortable. Very kid-friendly, with a playroom and a small play area.
The mattresses were relatively firm. It can sometimes be a bit noisy in the evenings if you have a room next to the restaurant.

We feel at home
You immediately feel comfortable and very welcome. Everyone is very friendly Sabrina at the front desk with her friendly manner is already initiating a pleasant stay, as are Claudia and her team.

great hotel, great location, nice staff
We liked the quiet location, but you can still walk or cycle a few minutes to the center of Velden or the inner beach. Exceptionally good cuisine and original breakfast buffet.
The wellness center closes at 20:00 Pity, would have liked to spend more time there. The beach and its pier show their age.

We felt very comfortable in the hotel, we will go there again.
The breakfast buffet and dinner were sufficient and very good. The room has been recently refurbished and is very nice. The sunbathing lawn in front of the hotel was great. The staff is very friendly and pleasant.

Friendly family run hotel that makes you feel at home
Great pool and wellness area, very good restaurant (I can only recommend half board), friendly and dedicated staff.

Nice and relaxing
The hotel and complex offer good options in bad weather. Well, of course, even better. Sauna, gym and Jacuzzi and relaxation rooms.
The main street in front of the hotel can sometimes be noisy!

Absolute friendliness, be it the owners themselves, the cleaning ladies, the very rich breakfast, We think that the general concept of the Hotel Dei Schönblick is the same, be it the surrounding area and the many leisure opportunities. The 30 square meter room and the lake view convinced us that we will definitely return.

We recommend!
We (2 adults and a child from 6 months) were greeted very warmly! The room was very clean and the staff were very very friendly. We immediately felt at home. The food was also great and very tasty, especially the evening menu (we had half board) I would love to do it again😀

Very good memories! Possibly another stay in this beautiful region
It was perfect, no problem, even if it was sometimes difficult to understand each other. The hotel made it necessary to translate the menu into French.
The boss does not exist with us. Transparency !! Luckily the staff were perfect!

Very good hotel, you should save on half board.
A very nice hotel with a very large and well maintained outdoor area. Good health. Quiet location near Velden.
Dinner was unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. Salad buffet without love without variation. The main dish was tasteless, from the 6th day there was pork 4 times. The fish alternative or the vegetarian dish were not alternatives. Portions are very small. All this was at the level of the dining room, absolutely inappropriate. We really didn't miss anything at the breakfast buffet but with 4 stars there is still a lot of room for improvement. The economy double room is very small, the bathroom is too small.

Nice house, great and friendly service.
The breakfast was very good, the location to the lake is good and also to the center, everything is within walking distance. The friendliness throughout the house is striking and very important. I can recommend a house with a clear conscience.

Very nice hotel
Extremely friendly and helpful staff and owners! Good service, very good location, 10 minutes walk from the very busy Velden promenade. There is everything for a pleasant stay. Only downside: no air conditioning.

Everything was great and we will definitely come back :)
the owners - the Schneider family were very very nice and all the staff were very nice and helpful! Everything was ok from breakfast to room! The garden landscape was also very well maintained and the outdoor pool was pleasantly warm! There is a great playroom for children :)
maybe freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast (gives Pago juice a taste) - but that's a high level nagging;)

Discreetly!
I liked the very large size of the room, the calmness, the overall structure, the cleanliness and the courtesy of the staff.
Breakfast is not very good, lack of sweets, tasteless fruits. Our room did not have a lake view, the hotel beach was not close at all.

Excellent and very relaxing
The food was very good, maybe a second dessert for lunch would have been good - but otherwise everything was great. The staff and boss were very nice. The convenience is great and everything is very clean.

HOTEL WITHOUT SPA QUALITY
Very good facilities, lots of space and space
There is no water and towels in the SPA area, and almost no slippers :( I have never seen a SPA area without water before - a unique and big MINUS in this wonderful complex!!!

The hotel complex is very well maintained and clean. Very friendly and courteous staff. Extensive breakfast menu. Very nice private beach, easily accessible on foot, with ample sun loungers and a nice beach bar.

Very Good
Excellent location. Beautiful view from the rooms. Breakfast is very good, the staff is helpful and ready to help. The facilities in the hotel, garden, pool and jacuzzi make the hotel a real vacation spot
The rooms are simply furnished, there is no light on the balcony and in a hotel that has a 4 star rating we would expect shampoo and creams found in every bathroom and not just soap as we found.

All in all, highly recommended.
The receptionist was very helpful. When parking, it was also possible for a small bus to properly park the car; the personable boss was personally present and provided support. Also, a very good breakfast with an excellent selection.

A wonderful rest, the expectations of all fellow travelers were met or even exceeded.
The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way, but the center of Velden can be reached in a few minutes on foot. We had a great room with a very beautiful view. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Since we are completely satisfied with the placement, there are no complaints.

We felt very comfortable and welcome.
The breakfast was very good and there was a lot of choice.
From the half board we were a bit disappointed at first, the first three evenings had a serving as well as a level of dining experience. After that it got better (maybe the chef returned from vacation), corresponded However, not quite our expectations from a four-star hotel.

The breakfast was very good and additional requests were fulfilled. Upper room, the bed is comfortable, only the upholstery is too thin and too soft. On top of the plant. Take it far to the lake. Food very good staff very friendly and helpful

For this price, I expect double comfort.

Noisy street in front of the hotel. There is (almost) no view of the lake. The hotel looks a bit run down. The smell in the room upon arrival. Extremely expensive!

Excellent hotel with nice staff.
A very good hotel with excellent facilities.
As we had a "savings option" the room was very small and the room didn't really match the price. Despite registering for breakfast on booking, the staff seemed very surprised when we always came for breakfast... we felt a bit uneasy.

Celebrated a great week holiday in a nice hotel with very good food. And very friendly staff.
Good pima in bed. Garden and swimming area on the lake with free sunbeds.
There is no air conditioning in the room. And it's a pity that we had smoking neighbors next to our balcony.

Service so-so, otherwise great
The room was great. The balcony is spacious. Very clean. The administrators are very friendly and helpful. Super garden with swimming pool. Large parking lot. Lockable garage for bicycles. Excellent salad buffet and breakfast. Managers are always present, even helpful and nice. Private beach 10 minutes walk.
The service staff seemed partly confused and had no system. The plates were taken away instantly, no one asked if we wanted anything else (coffee for dessert, for example). Is it possible to expect in a 4* hotel. Dinner is sometimes only lukewarm (pot soup, but the main course is also served). Tables are sometimes not set even though you had a fixed seat.

Great stay apart from the little things
The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are very good. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Car parks around the hotel supi.
We had a small table for 4 which was too small. At breakfast, it was drawn, as all the doors were open.

For a short break a very good holiday
The breakfast was excellent and I would highly recommend the half board that was booked. Dinner was excellent. Also the staff is very friendly. Especially Claudia tries very hard. This is a family run hotel, everyone goes out of their way to make sure guests have a great vacation. Separately, I would like to note the private beach on the lake. Unfortunately we were only able to book a small room at short notice, next time we will book earlier...

This hotel invites you to come back.
Location away from the hustle and bustle we were very pleased. The garden with sun loungers and pool is fantastic, although we didn't use it this time because we did a lot of hiking. We really liked the friendliness of the staff and the owner of the hotel. The kitchen also needs to be given a big compliment - the cook was "Peter the Great" for me.

Perfect stay in Carinthia
A whole hotel complex with a spacious, well-groomed garden and swimming pool. Great terrace, restaurant with outdoor dining. The staff and owners are always very friendly and attentive. The hotel is in a quiet location, but Velden and the lake can be reached within a 10-minute walk.

Very nice, you can recommend!
The breakfast was very rich; It was sweet to savory, different juices, tea selection, fresh fruit, fruit salad, yogurt etc. just really good! In the evening there was a rich salad buffet followed by a 3 course menu - what more could you want. Very good dining room. The entire team is very friendly and accommodating! The garden with outdoor pool is beautifully designed. We will definitely holiday there again!

Beautiful, newly designed wellness center in a great location. heated pool. You feel very comfortable, everyone is very friendly. Bicycles, umbrellas, etc. are included free of charge.

We really enjoyed
Very clean house, both rooms and garden with swimming pool and wellness area. Nice breakfast with lots of choice and the dinner menu was great. Very hardworking and friendly staff. The Schneider family was always present and tried to fulfill every wish. We were here for the first time, but definitely not the last time. Velden is easily accessible on foot.

Clean well located hotel in a nice walking area
Very pleasant and friendly hosts. We received a very friendly welcome and first tips about the Wörthersee region. We were upgraded to half board for a small extra charge and it was well worth it. Dinner was good simple and breakfast buffet was very rich and you didn't have to do anything. The rooms were very clean. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Velden and is easily accessible on foot. The hotel has enough parking spaces. There are very beautiful hiking trails around the hotel and in the Velden area. We would like to return.
The only criticism was our somewhat small room. But it wasn't too bad since we don't spend holidays in the room :-)

An experience to be renewed hopefully.
The location in relation to Velden is not ideal and getting there is not easy due to parking problems. but it is great for traveling by car to other places. Although I'm not interested in the ritual of breakfast (which I rarely eat), the hotel has great experiences: an appointed place, news of the day about the weather, the temperature of the water in the lake, indoor and outdoor pools (there is also a sauna in the structure, excellent and free); hiking tips. Dinner served at the table is also excellent and affordable (except for various salads and desserts on the buffet). Family structure up to the second generation, with a patriarch still roaming the structure.
The inability to use America Express, which at the end of the month matters for being able to make payments when other cards are full.

Always a pleasure to stay at the Schönblick Schneider
The breakfast offer was very extensive and exceeded our expectations. The staff were very flexible, very friendly and open. From the very beginning it felt like you were in good hands. This applies to all areas of the hotel, including hotel management. Thanks to the very good quality of the mattresses, we had optimal sleeping comfort.

It was a relaxing vacation.
The breakfast was excellent, there was something for every taste. The sunbathing lawn is very well maintained, the pool is clean and warm. Unfortunately, the lake is far away. It's great that the waiter serves drinks before the vote.
I often had a hard time finding something suitable for the evening menu.

A few pleasant days at the Hotel Schönblick on the beautiful Wörthersee. We would like to return!
From arrival to departure everything was just perfect. All the staff have always been very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner left nothing to be desired. We had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxed stay, THANK YOU!

Nice short getaway on Wörthersee
The staff is very kind. The breakfast is delicious. Great view from the rooms and great wellness area. The location on the lake is great and thanks to the Wörthersee card we had many discounts. Free access to the hotel's own beach.
Unfortunately there is no air conditioning in the rooms.

We were very satisfied with everything, everything was good, very good service, very good service. Large selection of dishes and always something new, especially in the evening. Thank you It was nice that we were allowed to store our bikes in the garage so the service is top notch, keep it up.

A very good hotel that you can recommend.
The breakfast is just great, (state of) very friendly and helpful. Other than that, we were very pleased with the hotel. The footpath to Velden, about 10 minutes, also suited us.
What we didn't like for a 4 star was that the bathroom towels were very thin and very hard.
