Despite the long journey, beautiful accommodation with a view of a breathtaking mountain panorama
The apartment was great and well equipped except for small things in the kitchen. The view is magnificent and everything is very quiet and secluded. The hostess was friendly and helpful, so she immediately helped us out with missing kitchen utensils.
Unfortunately, it was not clear to us how far the apartment is from the actual town of Umhausen (approx. 15 minutes via a steep serpentine road). Since we wanted to ski in Ötz, our journey was significantly longer. It would have been nice if this had been mentioned in the description of the location.

Snow-sure holiday accommodation for hiking with a nice landlady
super equipment of the apartment - small mini oven, microwave, wellness shower, dishwasher, enough dishes (for 3 people). Plenty of towels & bed linen available. Quiet location at 1500m, as there are only about 10 holiday accommodations nearby. Parking directly in front of the house. Terrace with chairs with a direct view of the mountains. Landlady (in the house) very nice and reserved, immediately available and approachable with problems. Information about the location: Due to the 1500m altitude of the holiday accommodation, hiking trails are right in front of the house (to the Stuibenfall,...). Advertised cross-country ski trail can be reached in 5 minutes by car.
Unfortunately, there is no "couch" in the apartment. Rather guest bed or bed for third directly under the TV. Smell of stale smoke when entering the house. Information about the location: Due to the 1500m altitude of the holiday accommodation, the "centre" (shopping facilities,...) of the village of Umhausen can only be reached by car in 20 minutes (in winter when there is snow, only accessible with snow chains!). Rather unsuitable as accommodation for skiers, as ski areas such as Hochötz and Sölden are each 30-40 minutes away.

Great stay for a nice price!
View and space for 3 bedroom apartment was fine! Also quick response host and welcoming!
Every now and then you smell some smoke, probably from under or on the side of neighbors

Wonderful stay with panoramic views of the valley.
the accommodation was very comfortable and had a great view of the valley. thanks to the window facades and beautiful furniture, a very friendly and warm atmosphere reigned here. In addition, it is conveniently located to reach many destinations in Ötztal from there.

An ideal starting point for hiking. The apartment is small, maximum 2 people. Cleanliness is great!
I contacted the sister-in-law who handles the booking, the mother-in-law was at home when I arrived. Was uncomplicated.
The decor is a bit tacky but okay. It was clean. The owner was never seen. The walls are thin, you can tell when the neighbors in the second apartment get up or how long they don't sleep.
