Idyllic and relaxing
It's just a stone's throw from the main street, but quiet and peaceful. It's only 5 minutes walk from the city center. This is an old building that is constantly being renovated, very clean and well maintained. The breakfast is sufficient, from fresh eggs with rolls to muesli and fruit. Homemade jam is a hit.

Very cheap accommodation for bikers who are not focused on luxury.
Breakfast is already from / until 7:00 in the morning, the Grossglockner bike ride can start earlier. Just a few hundred meters from the climb/beginning of the Grossglockner.

The location is great with location on a high alpine road but the house itself looks sloppy from the inside
Good breakfast, great location, friendly owner, pet dog is very nice and well mannered, balcony, comfortable bed, big box
The bathroom is old, the vent is yellowed, the ceiling is a little damaged, the bathroom door is a little damaged. The door to the hallway is very thin.

Placement with light and shadow

Accommodation yes, but.....
The boss was very friendly. The proximity to the Grossglockner high road is very good. Accommodation is ok for 1 night. Breakfast yes, the choice is sufficient, no self-service.
One piece of advice. Check out the amenities when booking through, was surprised because there is no TV in the room. It is confusing that from the balcony you can go to other rooms, so there is no separation. The boarding house is like a hotel. The view of the courtyard resembles a deposit. If I stay there again, I should not find anything else.

A good option for one night.
Good location, delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, view from the window.
There are no nets on the windows, in the morning we saw 3 mosquitoes that were full of blood. The shower cabin leaks - after taking a shower, the floor in the bathroom is wet. When closing the door, some spare part fell off, but it did not affect the closing in the future. The room is OK, but the corridors have an unpleasant "old kitchen" smell.

Considering the price, the penalty is for 1 night on the way.
The location is excellent. Breakfast is poor but good.
The room was very small, the bed was hard and everything was frankly dirty.

Good and cheap.
But there is a very nice boss who also cooks a great breakfast. The location to get to the high alpine road couldn't be much better. Price performance is very good.
If you expect luxury is wrong here.

Close to the Grossglockner strasse, the motorcycle could be stored in a covered place. Simple but good breakfast. Unforgettable caretaker! :) good wifi connection.
It could have been a TV, but it wasn't missing.

We have been received in a friendly manner and have felt comfortable. 2 restful nights
The breakfast was good and more than sufficient. There were several types of sausage, cheese, and ham, as well as eggs, yogurt, and granola. Fresh pastries and even gluten-free bread on request. The friendly landlord serves homemade jam.
Price and performance ratio are right. The lack of TV sets and there is no internet is not up-to-date. The house is showing its age and could use a loving hand.

Excellent breakfast, filling, served in excellent conditions, good coffee, eggs from the chickens in the yard, fresh and crispy bread The very kind owner, answered our questions, served us impeccable breakfast He helped us with putting some locally bought products in the fridge.
The room was small for 3 people and 108 E was paid Lack of hygiene items, liquid soap, shower gel, especially in the conditions of the Covid 19 pandemic. I had NOT remembered that these products are not included, luckily we had a shampoo with us.. In the 21st century, there should be no hotel room without minimum hygiene products The cleaning could be better, cobwebs and even spiders A fridge would have been nice

Motorbike tour Grossglockner
Very nice reception, everything uncomplicated. There is a vending machine with cool drinks, the breakfast is very good, and if we have problems, like we had with a motorbike, the host will help with advice and tools. 10 points for the very friendly and uncomplicated nature of the host alone.

Ideal guest house for a relaxing holiday
Friendly and helpful owner. Spacious room with all basic amenities. Good breakfast. Parking. The guest house was close to several walks. There was a calm, friendly atmosphere.
There was an unpleasant smell in the toilet. Breakfast was only possible until 9 am, which is early.

Great place for tours of the Grossglockner
Haus Brunhilde reminded us of a school camp for school trips. There was a simple decor, no frills, just decent beds and delicious breakfast. The location right before entering Großglocknerstraße was great, tools and covered parking were available for motorcyclists, it didn't affect us but still nice. The host father was always ready to chat and prepared useful information.
A few corners had been "smoothed out" but everything was still fine.

Based on the previous reviews I was expecting something better.

Unfortunately no TV. Hadn't booked the room otherwise. The shower was dangerous you had easily can slip out.

Good for an overnight stay on the way to Grossglockner.
Friendly owner, good breakfast, clean room and slept well. Possibility of motorcycle storage. WiFi is good.
The house cannot be found on Booking.com! You go out for 5km at a stranger's :( A TV would be nice in the room.

If you want to stay in a sophisticated place, have no illusions!
The accommodation is in a very nice location, right at the beginning of the Großglockner Hochalpenstraße! The hosts were kind and served a delicious breakfast! The view of the mountains from the balcony was picturesque!
Unfortunately, it was impossible to talk about cleanliness, the toilet seat had not been cleaned after the previous guest!!! Everything was dusty and shabby, although this would not have been a problem, which is probably why it was cheap! In today's Covid world, greater emphasis should be placed on cleanliness! !!

I wouldn't choose it again.
The neighborhood was average, there was no need to go up to the mountain for a night. The accommodation was next to the main road, with a fast-flowing river next to it.
Our accommodation overlooked the inn's messy courtyard. When we asked for this, the owner said that for this money, EUR 119 will give you this. The owner calculated the buns for 3 people at breakfast, but he brought more when we asked.

For us, it was perfect for our motorcycle tour. The host was helpful.
The area is beautiful. That's why we chose this accommodation.

Tourist category accommodation with friendly service in a beautiful location
They have very simply furnished rooms, the beds are a bit creaky but comfortable. Almost everything in the bathroom needs to be replaced, but it was clean. The breakfast was continental, but varied and plentiful, and the service attentive. It is very good for student accommodation and was perfect for us for 1-2 nights.

For a stopover ok ;-)
Breakfast was sufficient and good, the landlord was courteous and nice. The accommodation is right at the entrance to the town, ideal for motorcyclists and about 50-60m away for refueling as the crow flies, little river in between..., ideal start to the Großglockner pass road, etc. Good place to eat, recommended at the other end of the town Resteraunt/Hotel Wasserfall, the waiter is Dutch and really in a good mood, always funny ;-)

Great location, several minutes from the entrance to the glossglockner road. Very tasty breakfasts.
As a motorcyclist - the rooms can be tight for 2-3 people for a longer stay. But overall, it's hard to pin down. :)

Excellent for 1 night
Price quality. Great place for 1 night. Breakfast was reasonably affordable (although I'm not a fan of Kaiser white rolls myself).
Everything seemed to be from the hostel. A little cluttered at the entrance. Noisy, in the morning at 6 o'clock the baker will bring sandwiches, if you sleep lightly, then you are awake. Similarly, when others walk down the hallway. Sheepdog runs everywhere, including in the kitchen.

Recommended for both single day stays and longer stays!
Great breakfast, nice boss, expensive dog and nice staff! As an accommodation for hiking, cycling, etc., if you don't have any special requirements, this is definitely a recommended place to stay!
That we had to take 2 rooms even though our double room had more than enough extra bed for one night. So we had to take an extra double room and pay extra for single occupancy. Do not know, the error is related to the booking. com or with a landlord?

Flawless and friendly
The location is very good for visiting the Grossglockner. The house is already on the access road to the Grossglockner. The owner drives his own motorbike and was able to provide helpful information for questions. The breakfast was wonderful. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are kept simple, if you don't need luxury then this is the place for you. If I return to the area, I will stay here again.

We used this accommodation on our way to Italy. Beautiful surroundings, accommodation clean, quiet. We also slept here on the way back from Italy and everything without problems. Good breakfast. Good dining options nearby.

Nice breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming host. Charming and homely.
Lousy mattresses. Lack of hand soap in the toilet. Dilapidated conditions, e.g. doors and windows.

A great budget hotel near the scenic high mountain road

Great hotel for a stopover
Good location close to Grossglocknerstrasse. The rooms are simple but value for money. The breakfast was not very plentiful, but sufficient for a good start. We arrived late in the evening but this was not a problem, we were well spoken to on the phone and were also kindly received.

Great for those who come to the Grossglockner
Stopped there to ride the Grossglockner. Great friendly staff. The room is very basic, we were comfortable just to spend the night. There is a wonderful view from the balcony. The motorcycle was left in the parking lot under a canopy.
