Lovely and helpful staff, the porter David was very helpful, we have not received such a warm welcome for a long time. Convenient field, right in the center, everything is nearby. There is a cozy cafe on the second floor where a delicious breakfast is served. I recommend this hotel!
Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast.
All liked it
A good hotel by the standards of Yerevan and excellent staff, going to a meeting. Plus 24 hour front desk and check in at 5am was great
A little tired furniture
Administrator David is well done, very friendly staff, they tried to help in everything, we had an early check-out and we were given a breakfast package with us. excellent TV: many channels, YouTube, parquet on the floor.
I think all the cons relate to the owners, not to the employees, namely: outdated mattresses, bed linen, thin blankets, pillows in lumps, washed towels.
convenient location, the staff went to the meeting and changed the room
Unpleasant moments began with the settlement: 1. Immediately at the reception, strange things began: they asked to cancel the reservation, they said they did not want to pay the booking. I refused. it seems that not everyone refuses, only this can explain the overestimated rating 2. room 303, which was settled in, was terrible and very dirty: - the shower smelled very rotten; - the floors were very dirty, it felt like they had not been washed for several weeks, I will attach a photo - the windows overlook the roadway, there is no sound insulation at all, so you will hear all the delights of Yerevan traffic during the night (constantly buzzing, a lot of transport without silencers) - the room is very tired, all the walls are marked with the vital activity of previous guests - the ceiling seemed to be leaking, they didn’t even try to repair it, they just moved the bed, and under this smudge they put tea accessories, as a result, all the plaster fell there - there were red marks on the sheets that looked like blood stains - only 2 sockets: one is occupied by the TV, the second is almost at the exit 3. breakfast is just a laugh, to call it modest is to embellish a lot after my complaints, they changed the room, which was not so tired, and cleaner
A very friendly young man met and accommodated us. The windows of the room overlooked the courtyard, from which it was quiet from the side of the street. The room had everything you need for life. Hairdryer, hygiene products, kettle, refrigerator, TV, tea set, fresh bed linen and towels. It was clean. I liked the doors, solid solid wood, now a rarity in houses, but in hotels it’s completely :)
The room is small and the soundproofing inside the hotel is very poor. Yes, you won’t hear everything that happens on the street, but here are the neighbors who decided to shake the old days very much. Unfortunately, the law allows noise until 23:00-24:00 depending on the day of the week. Until that time, if a young lady or a man decides to sing karaoke / drink in the next room, you will have to go to them on your own and ask to be quieter. Here, even the problem is not the hotel, although the soundproofing could be better, but people who allow themselves such revelry at night, knowing that they can interfere with other guests.
location, staff
view from the window, no elevator
The room is very basic with old furniture but very clean. The staff is pleasant. The location is good.
There were no bedside lamps/lights in the room. There is only the usual light from the ceiling, and the switch from it at the other end of the large room is inconvenient.
cool balcony
tasteless breakfast no lift dirty floor no blanket
Location, cafe and shop on the 1st floor. Tasty breakfast.
Dirty room, 1 towel, no shampoo and shower gel. Perhaps before settling in it was simply not tidied up. The toilet is leaking, tired repairs and furniture. An old kettle with a layer of scale, chipped mugs.
the staff is very nice well, like all people in Armenia!!🇦🇲❤️
the breakfast is very simple :(, besides, no one warned that at 9 in the morning it would not be only at 10 they opened it. on the stairs it rises to the 4th floor, I won’t say it’s convenient, I thought the location was good until I took it closer
We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor (me, my wife and our three-year-old son), we did not take a crib, we fit on the bed. We stayed only one night, although we walked past the hotel for a week, constantly dined at Ktoor, and my vegan wife went to Life Food. What about the hotel - a very nice young man carried our suitcases up the stairs to the 3rd floor, and thank God because it was already the 5th hotel without an elevator and every time the 3rd floor. The room was normal, it was clean, for some reason they don’t give water upon arrival, but oh well. A little tired bathroom, tiles cracked somewhere, and for some reason there is no curtain, so you fill the floor with water. We had an early flight so we didn't get to eat breakfast. To the mercy of the Republic somewhere one km. on foot. In general, everything is fine, I would go there again without any problems.
Curtain in the bathroom.
great staff, helpful management
-
Great location and friendly staff The front yard is just amazing.
The room was very tired. Towels and linen not very clean. Bathroom right on C grade
Delicious breakfast, city view, friendly staff, warm welcome, perfect location in the heart of Yerevan - a street strewn with the best bars and restaurants in the city
a little shabby repair in the bathroom, a sprout even sprouted there, in the shower there is just a hole in the floor, the textiles clearly need to be replaced
Nice hotel in a convenient location. There are many different restaurants on the street.
Friendly, helpful staff.
nothing!!!
I was seduced by the high rating in Booking. When we arrived at the hotel I was in complete shock! People who, at the request of the staff, put "10", can it be better to write the truth? What would the owners fix and get real grades, and not beg for them, spoiling the rest of the guests! So: 1. The hotel is thoroughly worn out. Everything is shabby and old. 2. Terrible smell in the bathroom, it is impossible to stay there. 3. a terrible shower curtain that does not protect anything. after a shower the whole floor is wet 4. Disgusting old, washed-out towels, gray. 5. Terrible quality bedding 6. Disgusting mattresses. Child for extra bed put a mattress, where the springs dig into the body! 7. Clumped low pillows 8. The hotel overlooks a busy highway, the owners saved on double-glazed windows. With closed (!!) windows, noise from the street is heard 9. Breakfast is just awful. Strange sausage, cheese, scrambled eggs iiiiii…. a spoonful of buckwheat (this was especially touching) I do not recommend it!
Friendly staff, beautiful building.
Worn walls.
Friendly staff, cleanliness, delicious breakfast.
Everything is great! Very friendly staff, always ready to help. The room is spacious, clean.
Convenient location, close to many good restaurants and walking distance to the center.
2 combined mattresses for two, instead of one large There are not enough crockery and cutlery in the rooms No soundproofing Breakfast is quite modest.
Very good staff Clean .comfortable. From the airport 15 minutes from the Republic Square 5 minutes on foot Near parks, shops, pharmacy, restaurants 3-4 Nice and quiet street
Our acquaintance with Yerevan began with a scandal. We booked a triple room from 15.04-23.04 We warned the hotel that we would arrive on 16.04 at 6 am. In fact, they settled in a dirty double room, instead of a third bed, a folding bed. We waited for the administrator, to which he said that guests were leaving our room, they would remove it and we could move. We got into the paid room only a day later😡 There are holes in the sheets, dirty towels, flora and fauna in the air conditioner, cobwebs with dust hanging from the ceiling, the bathroom smells of dampness, and the hall smells of dirty socks. "Room cleaning" on request. The number of towels does not match the number of guests, etc. They even have a broken iron with wires sticking out. THE PRICE LIST DOES NOT MEET THE QUALITY. Upon arrival, they asked me to cancel the reservation or reschedule the dates so as not to pay a commission to Booking. They asked to compensate for the paid day, the answer to all is the same, we are to blame, "but it happened," they did not wait for compensation. If you want a good holiday, do not contact this hotel. Before our eyes there was exactly the same conflict with the hotel, a person's birthday was ruined, they settled in some kind of hut, instead of the declared number. And yes, the rooms are overpriced. It is a pity that the application does not allow you to attach a video review of the room, we attach some photos.
The breakfast is good. Not a "star straight wow" but a good, hearty breakfast, no frills, but tasty and beautifully served. Having a restaurant inside the hotel, a restaurant with alcohol, which is open until late, is a good idea. The size of the room and the opportunity to go out to the balcony with a beautiful view, it's just captivating! Very polite and helpful staff, they will tell you everything you need, help to solve additional requests (print a boarding pass, leave things for storage, call for a transfer. Good location - close to the tourist places of the city, everything is within walking distance.
It's rather Slight musty smell in the bathroom. Temporary problems with the Internet (disconnected for 30 minutes), but the issue was resolved and it didn't happen the next day. Old kettle - tried to warm the water. It turned out badly - with a taste of scum. Either the city water is to blame, or an uncleaned kettle. Slightly worn renovation, old furniture. A purely aesthetic moment, even more of a taste and not critical.
everything is just super
did not notice any cons
If I have a confirmed booking for 4 nights in a nice room, it will be a breach of contract for me if I have to sleep in the closet due to overbooking!! In the offer on Booking.com, all rooms were shown as free at the time of our stay. The management of this hotel lied to us! Irresponsible management! A small discount for trying to scam is not an excuse. We were also asked to cancel our booking on booking.com so the hotel could save on the bill. And then we could not rate the hotel more. Booking.com should remove this hotel from the list.
everything was great !!!!
Location, staff. Everything is within walking distance. Cozy room.
The windows overlook the main street, a bit noisy.
very convenient location
convenience
The room is big. It is warm in it - for Armenia in winter this is just an absolute plus. The bathroom has additional lighting above the mirror. There are no complaints about the audibility, although it was heard how other residents came to the floor at night, but they did not hear the neighbors. The room is clean. Before this hotel, we lived in a nearby - very convenient area, close to the Republic Square, there are cafes, shops, near the bar street, it is convenient to get to / from the airport. The breakfast is sufficient for a 1 day stay provided you eat everything (see below). But the start is late - at 9:30. There is no safe, but there is a sign on the front door in large letters that the hotel is not responsible for valuables left behind (it no longer fits in the negative field). After leaving, the employee called to clarify the impressions, which, of course, pleases.
In Armenia lived in 3 hotels. This one is the worst, although the pricing is identical. We spent 1 night here - tolerable but no longer possible. The first impression immediately upon entering is that the hotel is here by accident. No common space, sofa, cooler, adjacent entrance to the store. On the 2nd floor of a cafe where breakfast is served in the morning, and from 11 it works as usual (to the issue of security). There is no elevator to the 4th floor (maybe I missed this when booking), but the employee helped bring things. There is no cooler in the hotel, no kettle in the room either (it seems like it should, because there are mugs, but no tea or spoons) - they offer to drink water from the tap, but it tastes like pipes in any case, regardless of the quality of the water itself. I would like to have a cooler, and not run around looking for the nearest store. Behind the desk is also meant a chair that was not there. There was a sewer smell from the bathroom. The windows rest against the neighboring building literally a meter away, on the 4th floor there are lattices on the windows. Apparently there are no more than 4 rooms facing the normal part of the street. The light in the room is not multi-level, it turns off only at the front door. 1 socket for the whole room is also at the door, or you need to turn off appliances from the extension cord - refrigerator, TV. The door of the cabinet where the refrigerator was placed was broken. But the worst thing is the bed. Sleep is simply impossible! The pillowcases are torn, and the mattress is spring and these springs rest wherever they can. In addition, the double bed is 2 shifted, there is a hole in the middle, the blankets are single and feel like they remember the last century. At 6 in the morning, the water from the tap in the sink flowed a little warm, in the shower it was normal. For breakfast, they bring a ready-made plate - a small sausage, mashed potatoes, a piece of omelette, carrot salad, 2 pieces of cheese. Bread and a choice of tea / coffee (I think instant, but did not drink). There is no luggage storage - things were left at the entrance under the table, standing not far from the reception desk. The flight was at night, without options, but we were worried - everything is ok. It was the final night in Armenia, and the hotel significantly spoiled the experience.
Good nutritious breakfast, great coffee. The location is close to the center, you can walk to Republic Square.
I am a very fastidious customer for cleanliness and comfort, but the hotel was very pleased. Everything is very clean and comfortable. I was particularly pleased with the staff of the hotel, very welcoming and friendly. I also want to note the location of the hotel, the city center, everything is within walking distance and an adequate price. for delicious breakfasts a separate five!
The hospitality of the staff, good location (center, on the hill), veranda, wifi, good value for money, delicious breakfast, I recommend.
Very clean. Very hospitable staff. Calm. Ideal for business travel. Good WiFi speed. Thanks for the air conditioner.
Excellent
Location
Cleanliness (there was cobwebs, dirt, stains on the walls, etc.) The rooms are in need of repair (shabby parquet, broken tiles and terrible walls) Bad smell in sewer room Cold, while the air conditioner does not work or is not working, but it should be noted that the staff provided a heater
Comfortable mattresses, white bedding, soft towels! Excellent accommodation option. The center is close. There is a cafe on the second floor. Recommended! I liked it very much.
The hotel belongs to the City Hotel By Picnic chain. It is important not to confuse with the City Hotel Center By Picnic, which is located a kilometer from this hotel. The hotel is tidy, very welcoming staff. Easy to walk to the city center.
Modest breakfast but ok for a continental breakfast.
Great team of employees! Friendly and willing to help with everything. Hospitable service I liked the interior in the lobby and cafe at the hotel. Purity!
Uncomfortable mattresses, no elevator and shower curtain.
Pretty cozy dining room :) good design and nice music. Polite staff. Close to the center.
In the shower cabin, the water does not go away and accumulates on the edge, where it fades. This results in black mold in the cabin. Super slippery spiral marble staircase to the 4th floor. Uncomfortable bed with bulging springs, tried to save the situation with a thin blanket that lay on the mattress, but this did not help much. You can hear what they are talking about in the next room, even if it is not loud.
Very good service, clean comfortable
Buckwheat porridge is very good, like at home. Nescafe coffee.. 😂 😂 😂 So-so, tea in a bag is better. Overall the breakfast is good. Very cozy.
Very nice view from the 4th floor! Indeed, as they wrote little Paris. The bed was comfortable, for 2 people 2 blankets) Not an expensive mini bar.
The room was running out of hot water, as it was not there at lunchtime, it was barely warm and the room was cool. And in December it's not a buzz at all (
Liked the cleanliness of the room. Friendly staff. The location of the hotel is excellent. All attractions are within easy reach.
We booked a twin room. Upon arrival, it turned out that in our room there were two malfunctions that were fundamentally important for comfort: the air conditioner that was not working for heating and the hood in the bathroom that was not working. Employees tried to establish both, but to no avail (it was necessary to call the master). It was fundamentally important that the air conditioner work for heating, since there is no heating in Yerevan yet, and at night the temperature outside the window is minus. It was cold even during the day. And the non-working hood led to the fact that the room stank of dampness, everything in the toilet was wet and sweaty, and during the 6 hours of our absence, all the sweating did not dry up. We were moved to another room. BUT! This room had a double bed and the window faced the WALL. We moved on the condition that the staff would fix everything in our room in a day or two, and we would move back, because it was extremely uncomfortable for us to sleep together (I was resting with my mother) and the window into the wall was very annoying, because the room was constantly dark. Yes, the new room was both warm and dry, but still we were promised a comfortable stay in the room we ordered. Where there were two separate beds we needed, and a balcony on a bright street. As a result, until the end of the holiday we lived in a room with a double bed. Nobody moved us anywhere. I had to huddle with my mother on the same bed. Well, the constant feeling that we are moles did not leave us, because in the morning we don’t want to turn on the artificial light, but open the window and enjoy the Yerevan sun, but we didn’t have such an opportunity. Alas.
Great praise for the staff, especially at the reception: very friendly, very helpful, very pleasant and competent (also linguistically), Location a bit out of the center, but easily accessible on foot, many restaurants nearby, rooms were always clean .
breakfast could be improved, it was the same every day, little variety, a bit boring; The facilities, especially the bathrooms, could be better (especially my room lacked space to store cosmetics),
Located on Saryan street, which can be called "wine street". Not far from the Republic Square and the cascade too! Friendly staff, good breakfasts, where you can order coffee in Armenian) this hotel chain also provides excursions
A little dirty shower, but in general everything is ok)
Wonderful hotel! Convenient location, perfect cleanliness of the rooms, very polite and friendly staff! This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and probably not the last. Thanks for the hospitality!!!
To get to the hotel by shuttle bus number 201 from the airport, get off at Pak Shuka (Blue Mosque) stop. When getting off the bus, people pay 300 drams. From there, you need to cross the main avenue you came by bus and walk up the street for 300 meters (maximum about 5 minutes). This is the easiest way to get to the hotel. It is very well located, 15 minutes walk from the center of Yerevan and about 20 minutes walk from Cascade. We are very quickly on Mesrop Mashtots Avenue in 4 minutes along Amiryan Street. There are several grocery stores and restaurants. The hotel is also close to other restaurants within a 2-5 minute walk down Martiros Saryan Street. The area seemed very safe to me, as did the whole city, for that matter. Republic Square is a 15-minute walk, which is very convenient. The cheese shop, which also serves as a small restaurant on site on the terrace, is convenient for having a drink and relaxing for a few minutes. Breakfast was varied with salty and sweet. On the first day, I was 5 minutes late after the official end of breakfast at 10:35, but even though everything was already cleaned, I was treated to tea, coffee and small sweet cookies, which was very nice of them. The hotel was clean, well organized and the staff were very friendly and helpful in answering all my questions. The room was also large and clean, the same cleanliness was found in the bathroom.
However the WiFi didn't always work very well despite the WiFi terminal right in front of the bedroom door. Finally, the bed was not necessarily very pleasant. The springs were pressed against my back for several nights and were very close to the surface of the mattress.
The location of the hotel is ideal for tourists: it is almost the center of the city, a few minutes walk to the main attractions. Small comfortable rooms will allow you to spend nights without frills after long walks around the hot temperamental city, which will be helped by air conditioning, which saves you from overheating! The friendly and polite staff began to help even before check-in, and then continued to help with advice and a transfer to the airport. Quite well equipped room.
Regular breakfast. Apparently, this is already my whim, the whim of a person who is accustomed to Armenian cuisine and a variety of dishes, but who did not meet the same in a hotel. This is not a complaint against the administration, but rather a call to diversify (a little) the first and important meal :)
Decent minimalistic hotel within walking distance from the center. Near a cafe. The air conditioner works great. Everything you need is there.
The condition of the bathroom and plumbing is average. There is no lift. The room is small, I advise couples to take larger rooms otherwise it will be cramped.
We arrived early and the staff guys went out of their way to get us a room earlier than expected.
Friendly staff - tried to help in everything, beautiful room where breakfast is served. Convenient location, nice view from the balcony of the room on the 4th floor. The breakfast is average: you won't leave hungry, but the choice is very narrow and the quality of the products is modest.
The cleanliness of the room leaves much to be desired (for me then the decisive factor in the hotel): the toilet bowl stank (then the staff fixed it), the shower cabin was clearly not cleaned, there were cobwebs, dirt, spiders on the walls, and finally there were stains on the bed itself (pillowcases) (including a tonal ) - as if they had not been replaced from previous guests :( There are no mosquito nets on the windows in the rooms.
As a bonus to the hotel you get a cozy atmospheric cafe in the yard!
There is no balcony listed in the booked room. This is more likely to apply to the entire hotel, where yes, there is a terrace somewhere, but not in every room. As a result, I got a room with a view of the wall .. ((
Good location, friendly staff, great cafe with its own patio
Friendly, helpful and charming staff. Spacious and comfortable room.
Breakfast is generally fake: not fresh, not tasty, not Armenian.
breakfast, convenience of location. 10 minutes to the republic square, 5 minutes to the store. The hotel has a cafe with cheeses and alcohol.
noise from the street, the mattress on the bed should be changed. springs dig into the back
Very convenient location of the hotel, all attractions within walking distance. The staff is friendly, courteous and customer oriented. The hotel and grounds are very clean and beautiful. Thank you!
Would have liked to see a wider selection of food for breakfast.
