Wifi non-existent on the 6th floor

The hotel is old, Soviet type. Well, not even 4 stars. 3 with a stretch. Terrible breakfast environment. There is enough of everything: tables, staff, plates, cutlery, coffee - everything. Old fixtures in the bathrooms, cracked. The corridors were not repaired, apparently, they remained Soviet. The New Year's banquet was terribly organized: the music almost deafened the ears, the food was tasteless, there was no show, decent money. Disappointed and upset.

I noticed a couple of chips on the furniture, although in general the decor of the room and the entire hotel is quite respectable. The windows of our room looked at the mountains. The view into the distance is very beautiful, but next to the hotel, the view into the courtyards of residential buildings is rather depressing. However, I do not think that this should be considered a minus. The city is what it is: original and unique. The front side looks chic, but the inside looks different))

This is a big hotel from the late 80s, that says it all. Everything in this style and spirit, and interiors and staff. At the counter, they simply don’t pay attention to you, continuing to go about their business, the staff walks with a detached, concentrated expression on their faces, there is no luggage room, which is surprising (but you can leave your suitcase))), the hotel needs to be updated both physically and in terms of marketing and customer focus.

When booking, I asked how much an early check-in cost (because my plane arrived at 4 am) - and I was told that if there were free rooms, it would be free. Upon arrival, I was charged 50% of the daily amount for an early check-in. At the same time cheating and not issuing a check. And not allowing to pay by card. What I reported to the hotel through booking. The next day I was given a check and the missing change. And the message from the hotel said that they could not accommodate for free, because there were no rooms. Indeed, the category of the room was upgraded, thank you. The girls at the reception apologized and said that they could not accept the card due to problems with the terminal. Couldn't issue a check due to problems with the cash register. And when I asked where the pool is, it turned out that today is a sanitary day, and the pool is not working. Surprisingly, however, this is the level of luck: it was on me that everything abruptly stopped working, miracles. I chose the hotel only on two parameters - the price / location and the pool. As you understand, both of these parameters turned out to be past. Well, on the little things - the room that they gave me was absolutely huge, while in the bathroom it was impossible to turn around. The bath in the photo is a fiction, it is impossible to take a bath: with a height of 164, I would not fit in it even while sitting, only a shower. The hair dryer is located so that it does not reach the mirror. Also to the left of the mirror - well, at least it will be convenient for left-handers.

We never went to the pool, there was only one bathrobe for two. I suggest the hotel to change the description of the room. The windows overlooked the courtyard, exactly under them around the clock working mechanisms (possibly air conditioners, hoods🤷🏽‍♀️). -very small bathroom -low ceilings (I get 165) -when checking in, there were no bathrobes, after the call they brought one (the second was promised the next day ...... but ... ..) - very little lighting, you turn on all the additional lights and it's still dark -cosmetic accessories decreased every day. Shower caps are located in the closet🤷‍♀️, not replenished.

Meeting at check-in - perhaps an unsuccessful shift has come across. It is desirable to improve the quality of cleaning, they also sometimes forgot to put clean towels and new slippers.

The hotel chose such that the room must have a bath. Not just a bathroom, but a bath in which you can lie down. There is a bath in the room, but it was difficult to lie down :) Firstly, there was no plug in it. I called the front desk and they said they were out. I had to get out by plugging the drain hole with my heel))) But this is not the main drawback of the bath. She is very small. That is, with a height of 173 cm, you can’t lie down in it. You won’t even be able to sit down with your legs stretched out, your knees will be higher than the side. But I managed to sit in warm water)) There was a table lamp on the nightstand next to the bed. Maybe it burned out, or maybe the outlet is not working. Because when I tried to stick my phone in it, it wouldn't charge. I had to sit on the floor at the table where there was another outlet. That is, if there are two of you, keep in mind that there is only one socket by the bed, into which the lamp cord is plugged (and it did not work in room 502)).

For the cost of the room (two-room family) we did not notice any shortcomings. The staff is very friendly, they helped with the extension of the room due to a late check-out. Excellent breakfasts.

Quite an old hotel of the "Soviet" level, but good

Reception services. A categorical refusal to help with calling a taxi to travel around the city. Over the past 25 years, this is the first hotel where guests are NOT congratulated on their birthday. Wifi in the rooms is very unstable.

1. The cleanliness of the hotel is just awful. The rooms are not cleaned, 2 times out of 4 we were simply not cleaned for absolutely incomprehensible reasons, although we were not in the room for almost the whole day and there was a sign on the door asking us to clean up. The carpets in the room obviously haven't been washed for months, because the feet turn black pretty quickly. It is difficult to find a free table at breakfast, as dirty plates are removed from free tables for a very long time. 2. There is no Wi-Fi in the room (it just doesn’t reach there, I had to sit with laptops in the nearest cafes. 3. The room does not match the photos on Booking (the number is smaller than in the photos, 1 room instead of 2). 4. The hotel itself is quite old, the rooms are the same.

The hotel needs a certain update - the socket near the bed did not work for us, the bathtub was leaking, noisy air conditioning. Not a very large selection of channels on TV, and the TV remote worked every other time. The lighting in the part of the room where the bed is located is insufficient.

Everything is fine, only for breakfast I would like to expand the menu.

Old hotel, already tired. it's time to make repairs. The pool stinks of chlorine. It's already an old age to handle the pools this way. The price is high for such rooms - they are obviously tired.

Having gone down in bathrobes to the Lobby (the entrance to the spa through the first floor, where the "entrance courtyard"), it turned out that they were not allowed into the pool without caps (offered to buy), saunas are separate in the men's and women's locker rooms. After the reception area in the SPA, in front of the entrance to the locker rooms, there were a lot of people in outerwear, while we were in bathrobes and slippers, which created an unpleasant feeling. - The rooms are "tired" and need updating. There is no sanitary shower or bidet. The wardrobe for outerwear was directly opposite the bed, despite the fact that the superior room is quite large. - staff. Before that, we stayed at the Radisson Blu (which, with 5 stars, turned out to be cheaper than the 4 stars of Ani Plaza). They say that he is far away, but because of this we liked him even more (not to mention the service and other goodies). You can easily walk to the Republic Square in 30 minutes, through the cascade. In the evening, after a hearty dinner, the steps of the cascade help to unload and have a positive effect on the figure)))

In the first room, on the 11th floor, where we were, there was no hot water, only warm. The bathtub is small, acrylic, looks worn. As a result, we were moved to a room on the 9th floor, where the bath was also acrylic, but much newer, and the bathroom itself (due to the light finish, I think) seemed cleaner and tidier. The walls are not very thick and we could hear the neighbors making noise.

Smoking on the reception floor, in the hotel it is necessary to make a separate room or prohibit it, this is not allowed in the hotel.

Rather, I didn’t like it, but I reconciled after Moscow, where the Internet is on every corner: the quality of WiFi in the rooms does not always allow you to use it stably. WiFi works well in the lobby. If you are going on vacation, it does not interfere. I realized for myself that this is even a plus: you don’t sit buried in your phone) This rule also works in cafes and restaurants in the city :)

Everything is old. Tiles are broken in places, cigarette butts on the landing are lying around for half a day, while smoking is only allowed on the 1st floor on the street. Hotel guests slandered bags of garbage outside the door, which could stand all night, from this a terrible smell in the corridor. Wi-Fi is just disgusting, what it was-what it wasn't-is the same. There was one bathrobe in the double room. The ceilings are much lower than it looks in the photo. There are no balconies. Bathroom is tiny. The TV did not work, a cleaner came who did not speak Russian, could not do anything, called the master, who said that a master was needed, as a result, he changed the TV, where there were at most 5 channels. Russian-speaking of them 2. The husband cannot sleep without a TV set so this is very important to us. Sliding wardrobes are repaired with adhesive tape. The steam and spray buttons did not work on the iron. They hung up a do not disturb sign on the first day - they still came in and left. On the second day, they also hung me up to do not disturb in order to sleep until dinner, but persistently it happened that I should ask about the garbage. Breakfast… the first days did not go and nothing was lost! No spoons to be found, staff too, tablecloths dirty! If you arrive at 10 - it will be impossible to find a clean place + no boiling water / milk. And you still have to look for the staff, they themselves don’t really follow. There are holes in the bed linen.

The last 2 days there was no hot water and there was a big arrival of tourists (full hotel), which made it difficult to have breakfast. The smell of tobacco in the hotel (but in Armenia everyone smokes everywhere). The hotel has only 3 elevators and there were traffic jams when fully loaded.

I had to take it out of the duvet cover. - we asked for a double bed in advance, as a result there were two single beds, not very well shifted. - the room is in need of repair: old lampshades by the lamps, poorly working switches. - Breakfast is not the most interesting and varied, few fruits, water from the cooler. - the bathroom is very basic, not enough toothpaste, too basic shampoos/shower gels. - in general, we can say that there are too many minuses for 4 stars (.

They promised to open the pool on May 1, but we left on May 3 and the pool was not working yet ((. Cleaning at 4-. Problems with parking near the hotel, almost no places. No balconies and noisy from the road.

The matter may not be a mistake on the part of the hotel, but from the Booking program, because I chose to book with prepayment, but I was surprised that the amount was not withdrawn in advance, which forced me to pay at the place of residence and pay an additional 20 dirhams over the original amount. It may be a trivial amount, but this is a fact that he must know everyone

I didn’t like the coronovirus, because of which I had to interrupt my vacation, but Ani-hotels had nothing to do with it))) It would be nice to have a couple of plates in the room and more sockets by the bed, otherwise it’s not convenient to charge devices.

I was disappointed that the pool was closed on Mondays even though the description of the hotel didn't mention that. We booked just from Monday to Tuesday, check-out until 12:00 and in the morning before leaving, it’s not very good to swim ((And we specially booked a room in this hotel because of the indoor pool. It turns out that booking not all rooms makes it possible to get into the pool for free. To whom this is important, it is worth clarifying in advance.

Alas, but a weak gym. Inventory worn out

Wifi in the room was unstable and sometimes stopped altogether. Difficult if you are in this hotel for work. In any case: buy a SIM card on the plane, with which you can make good and convenient calls. “Just call” from Armenia is expensive.

I spent two nights there, two weeks ago, everything was perfect, nice room, well equipped (slippers, bathrobe, sewing kit, tray), excellent breakfast buffet... This time the room was average, poorly equipped (no bathrobe). , no sewing kit, empty tray, had to ask for tea...) It was very noisy in the room, the windows overlooked the street, and at 5 am I was awakened by noisy neighbors on the floor (the doors were slamming, loud voices). Leaving at 7am and breakfast was served at 7:30am, I asked for a small 'picnic' which I wasn't given. However, the reception staff were very friendly.
